I was re-reading my post about Bad SB’s and I didn’t mean that I am Bi-sexual but believe that at least 3 of the girls I’ve dated are Bisexual, or maybe don’t like men at all. I found this out by getting them to admit that they like Angelina Jollie and then asking them if they would kiss her! And they said yep.

  2. MoonPatrol says:

    Temporary SD:

Some of the woman I’ve found are less attractive and expect more than an escort or stripper would and are doing less. Your right we can’t be burning dollars unless the person has intentions of approaching this affair with zest. They should understand that it hurts us guys to dish out money when we feel juked. It really does, and we can feel good about spending a lot of money or feel real bad about spending a little. I can’t be with a sb that i would’nt be happy with to take to a symphony or theater show or a family members house for that matter.

  3. MoonPatrol says:

    Robin:
You mind saying what happened? I’ve been screwed around by 4 fake SB’s (or they have their own idea of what an SB is) I think they figure get as much money as quick as possible before they find out I’m Bisexual or that I’m a hustler. I can see men trying to get sample sex and then running. My lesson learned is this: this dating requires a lot of skills that I arrogantly or carelesly thought I had. I was a pilot long ago, and I didn’t fly the plane solo without learning hands on from experts. that what this blog is.

  4. Robin says:

OC and MCM, thank you for your response! I agree with you, I really am not trying to hold onto the anger, I felt it was a good lesson learned on my part, although not sure what I could have done differently, I was just plain lied to regarding an arrangement. I was more just trying to protect anyone else from falling victim to this jerk! But at this point I will let the New Year ring in a new SD for me that will treat me much better!! Thanks for letting me vent, I guess sometimes that is all we need to do to release it! OK… it’s gone…..

Love to all my sugar sisters, hope the new year brings you an abundance of good health, happiness and lots and lots of sugar!!

    Robin

  5. cleo says:

happy new year sugars! just back from a mission of mercy involving a cat!

  6. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    There is a new blog!!

Robin: I am with OC on this one:) When I have the time, I go back and read previous blog topics and we have all (at some point) had a not so great experience. It’s a new year, start fresh!!

  7. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    OC: oops! I meant ‘to’

    • OCSugarbaby says:

lol MCM…thanks! I knew what you meant lol

Robin, as for the next SB in line? That is where the blog comes in handy! We here try to educate and help others see or notice the red flags early on in the process. We have about a 80% accuracy rate… lol Nothing is full proof!!!
Lesson learned. Let it go. I know… easier said than done. But try or you will carry that anger and frustration into the next arrangement.

  8. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    Happy New Year Sweet Sugars!

I am spending the first day come the new year cleaning :)

OC: I hope your friend continues do be on the mend and 2010 has wonderful things in store for you both.

Gemi: You posed a great question; I have received emails like that. I love how SincereSd comes out with his pearls of wisdom. It’s always nice to have the SD perspective because this along with what to share in a profile is difficult (for me anyway).

Photogirl: lol…I thought I was the only one who called Wal-Mart Wally World…I love it!

Robin: Hi :) There is not a page to my knowledge where you can list SDs to be wary of, but you can share via email if you are comfortable doing that. This might be a better alternative as there are so many lurkers on the blog and you have to be careful what you post…just a thought, I am sure others will chime in on this:) I am sorry that you had a bad experience and I hope that you find a fabulous SD for 2010!

  9. Robin says:

I have a question for you fellow Sugar babies/daddies…. I have had a really bad experience with a member of this site and don’t want any of my sugar sisters to experience the same with this guy!! Is there a page or anywhere on this site where we can share names or information, yes… like a black list!! I’m so mad at this guy, I am not looking for revenge just trying to protect who else might be in line!!

  10. SincereSD says:

Gemini29 says: I need some advice here… I’m trying to end the beat-around-the-bush vague-ness associated with SA emails. So I’ve started to point blank ask men what type of arrangement they seek.

Well Gemi, some men prefer this approach and others (eg. NCG) do not. Personally, I find it can be a little offensive if not done in the right tone as it seems that all the pot. SB cares about is the allowance. However having gone on a bunch of disconnected dates, I also ask the similar questions to make sure we are in the same ballpark.

Three approaches for fishing, I would suggest:

    1. Trolling with bait: Ask whether they previously had a SB relationship. If they answer yes then it’s a good segway into the question what previous relationships were like from a date, frequency and allowance perspective. Some SD mauy answer in generalities so you may have to be comfortable with some vagueness or learn to ask probing questions.

    2. Deploying the net: If the answer to question #1 is no, then use your approach. Be apologetic (eg. You don’t want to waste anyone’s time and you want to make sure you’re both on the same page) and ask your questions (limit it to 3 so it doesn’t sound like an interview or that’s all you care about).

    3. Cut bait or use the harpoon: If they are still vague, you have 2 choices; agree to meet with them … or be bunt and spear them directly with the harpoon (ie. I’m looking for an arrangement with the following terms).

  11. 2Chic says:

Hello, and Happy New Year all
Going Free Zone …luv ya sisters, luv ya fellas, luv myself, =1 LOVE!

  12. Gemini29 says:

OC – I’m truly less concerned with $, than with time concerns. There are plenty of guys here who want to make the SB more like a girlfriend…someone they want to see constantly or be at their beck and call….or those who want a more weekend approach. But if they are vague in the profile, how am I supposed to know how they want the arrangement to enfold? I don’t whip out the point-blank questions right at the start, but only after I’ve tried *nicely* to figure out what they are after. As far as spoiling, because I did mention it, I just want to make sure they aren’t of the “expensive dinners out is enough” sort of mindset or the “$100 in walmart parking lot…wait, that isn’t your number..how about I up it to $150” type.

I have to be honest, I’ve only had…2 real honest-to-god I was captivated by the SD emails since my new profile went live. Most of the guys I use the point-blank approach are of the “I think you are hot, we’d be a good match, call me at ########, Steve” initial email type.

    • OCSugarbaby says:

Gemi-Understood, a vague profile leads the SB’s mind in many differrent directions until the SD gives us some insight.
Yes, the arrangement $ is just one facet of the ARRANGEMENT. You are so smart Gemi!!!
Asking them their expectations or broaching that topic and being able to state yours (with some flexibility).
If they want to see someone weekly, monthly or somewhere in between. You are right they need to tell you upfront, as does the SB. Remember the schedule’s topic a while back.
      I have missed you!!!

  13. Gemini29 says:

photogirl – lolol, that IS pretty bad. But at least he was specific!! 😉

  14. Gemini29 says:
    January 1, 2010 at 12:38 pm

If I wanted to call a random guy’s number, I’d pick one off a bathroom stall!

    LMFAO…so true 😛

    • OCSugarbaby says:

Happy New Year Sugars! Whoohoo a fresh year and only good things ahead…

Gemi- First and foremost. How can you speak of an arrangment with someone over the first initial emails? That is like getting excited about reading a book without its cover. You are sending the wrong impression talking about the arrangement without first seeking the chemistry.
You can always weed out the posers with some questions as to if they have had an arrangement prior. But to be honest with you I have never done that!
If the SD emailed and he captivated my attention, I would exchange emails wanting to know more about or seeking to find out our common interests. You will get far more out of the email exchange if you keep the questions light hearted and non $ driven. Now would I ever steer you wrong???

  15. Gemini29 says:

Taz- Oh good one, clarify the details of the arrangement. I’ll keep that in mind!

Midwest Mistress of the Dark – I like the part about what they liked/disliked about their old arrangement and what they are hoping for in a new arrangement. Oh and this isn’t the first email…more like the third and its me trying to get a feel for what they want and who they are personality wise as they press for an quick meeting. I want to know what they expect in an arrangement before I meet them, you know? So many of these guys are so quick to press for me to call them immediately…most of them include their phone#’s in the initial email…its such a turn-off! If I wanted to call a random guy’s number, I’d pick one off a bathroom stall!

  16. photogirl says:

Gemi – That is verbatim the reponse I gotten many times. Oh…how about this one received the other day: The ideal situation for me is to roll into (my city), take you to dinner and then we would have adult fun.

I should have responded with only if you take me shopping at Wally World first and the adult fun is in the parking lot.

  17. Gemi – I love our SDs, but they are men and cannot read minds (unlike women). Therefore, ask specifically what you want to know. However, sending this in the first e-mail could be a bit intimidating…men do like the chase as long as it’s positive and not too long. Therefore, perhaps ask first if they have been in an arrangement before, what did the like or dislike about the arrangement, and what are they hoping for in a new arrangement. Perhaps that will help segway into the more detailed conversations.

  18. Gemi – maybe ask them to clarify the details of their arrangement?? I have issues with this two…tell them you just want to assure them you are both on teh same page so you can move forward without wasting anyone’s time..I am sure there is a more sugary way to say that lol…still trying to figure it out 😛

  19. Gemini29 says:

Ok ladies (and gents) I need some advice here…

I’m trying to end the beat-around-the-bush vague-ness associated with SA emails. So I’ve started to point blank ask men what type of arrangement they seek. And add my own bit to it, like what I seek, etc. What I get back is filler like this:
“I am seeking an ongoing arrangement with a young attractive woman based on physical attraction personal chemistry mutual respect and fun”

This is exactly the “description” that I am trying to avoid! I’d like to know how often he would like to meet, what his view of spoiling is (lol), if he expects to travel a lot, etc… not…this vague BS! Argh!

So, how point-blank do I have to be? Perhaps I’m asking the wrong question?? I explained that I want to get it all out on the table early on so there is less of a chance of misunderstanding…him repeating his profile isn’t what I meant!

  20. Thanks Gemini, I’ll be back to normal in a few days :)

  21. Happy Lurker….I have been thinking of you! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Did I say that I hated emergency rooms!

  22. Happy Lurker says:

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU !
May all your sugar wishes come true.
Second half of December was spent in France by me.
As a matter of fact in the Champagne region.
I love to spend time there as my motto is :
“Life is too short to drink bad Champagne “!
Only 8 months ago I stumbled on the SA blog and started following it.
The year 2009 was for me a year filled with Olympic Gold !
Also because I met some great personalities here on the blog.
I wish to thank all of you for adding something special to my life.
To be honest, I feel blessed.
I am sure the year 2010 will be a glorious year for me.
So many exciting plans and adventures will be coming my way.
As is my tradition, today I took a long walk along the beach just to spend time with myself and the Lord and reflecting on the quality of life.
Perhaps one of these days I will meet a booby SB to spend time with.
Well guys, always great to end on a hilariously positive note.
    HL

    Happy Birthday James :)

  25. Alluring Anna *397377* says:

I’m such a clutz! I fell and sprained my ankle. I never would have come to the ER if I hadn’t heard a pop…..sigh. Dr. says I should be o.k. within a few days though.

  27. photogirl says:

Beach – I am doing great :) Clearing some clutter from my life today!

  28. Happy New Year Everyone, Kisses all around 😀

Sincere~ oh I can be the nurse, even have the little outfit !!! 😛

James ~ Happy Birthday! Have a blast xoxo

    Anna~ emergency room????

photogirl~ kisses girl, how are you?

  29. photogirl says:

    Anna – Emergency room?

James – Happy Birthday – I am sure you and Midwest will have a wonderful time 😉

Sincere – Ofcourse….it is suppose to be ‘mutually beneficial’ 😉 I’ll even give you one first! 😉

  30. Alluring Anna *397377* says:

Emergency rooms are so much fun!

  31. TXSB says:

Hi Everyone! :) I created a whole new profile…profile/pics are finally approved. I’m optimistic about the new year.. :)

    SincereSD:
Yes…I will nurse your headache. I like to show my appreciation to a man who puts in the time/effort to take care of me (and my aching back!).
    —————————————————————————

    TemporarySD:
I totally agree that giving “SBs” money or spoiling them before an arrangement is in place is never a good thing. IMO that’s the same thing as SBs giving “test drives”!
    —————————————————————————

    Gemini:
Hi! Glad you recovered from the initial “bump” and still had a great NYE! :)

  32. Not sure how much I will be around today or tomorrow…soooooo…..james (wouldn’t forget about a fellow cap!) Happy birthday to you!!!! I am sure MMD will make up for all those years of combo gifts 😉

  33. Sweetpea says:

hi MMD :) Hope you have a wonderful birthday celebration with him.

I am off to do something.

Wishing you all again happy happy new year :)

Come one guys. WE are turning this place into a snake pit with OUR money! Get it together and stop it! Yeah-baby

Yes – this is exactly true and exactly the same on the other side of the sugar bowl…girls keep your standards…boys YOU too! :)

  35. Woo Hoo – The SD rebellion will put SA on the map for quality ladies and no escorts! You go on with your bad self!

    Hi Sweetpea and Gemi!

Gemi – great way to make lemonade! I love randomly meeting new friends!

  36. Sweetpea says:

“Until we SDs stop giving these girls money before a relationship starts forming this place is going to continue to be over run with scam artists and escorts.”
    yes, yes…

  37. Temporary SD says:

Gemi – Jump on SW and fly up “here” You’ll meet a nice guy. I’ll let him know you are coming.

  38. Temporary SD says:

And just for completeness…they are NOT doing the JOB of an escort either when it comes to being with US.

  39. CA Dreamin SB says:

Temp SD – all kidding aside, assume you give Engagement SB a fake ring. She shows her family, and they want to start planning a wedding – what then? How far does she let this go? They make all these plans and then when they have to ‘cancel’ them because there is no wedding, they sue you to recoup the cost of the deposits and probably ‘mental anguish’ on her part. Seriously – run from this.

  40. Gemini29 says:

I know this is a bit late, but Happy New Year Sugar Family!! I hope the new year brings you unexpected treats, long stretches of sugar sweetness, and days and nights of fun!

My NYE plans got dashed when I got stood-up. Seems I’m a magnet for stuff like that….*shakes head* Then they got resurrected when I stuck with my guns and stayed put…made some new friends and had a very delightful evening! I was even home early! No crazy wild times like last year, but I think it was an appropriate way to ring in the new year :)

  41. Temporary SD says:

In other words guys… its time to start REMINDING these girls that they are NOT escorts. That they will not get paid like escorts. That they are expected to be better ladies and better companions than escorts.

Did I just say expected? Yes that’s right. The word(s) what is expected need to enter into OUR mouths. 😉

  42. Temporary SD says:

    MMD & Sincere LOL

Until we SDs stop giving these girls money before a relationship starts forming this place is going to continue to be over run with scam artists and escorts.

I can just go on eros and get a better deal than here: first I don’t have to search and waste time. second the girl will show and perform.

For what a so called licensed massage therapist (/escort) on SA would have wanted to give me a massage and toast the new year last night I can get an overnight with a gorgeous escort. (Said LMT ‘did not photograph well’) 😉

For what IRLSD’s x is boasting, I can get so much more from real escorts with little effort. I can turn a gorgeous escort into a great SB for less!

Come one guys. WE are turning this place into a snake pit with OUR money! Get it together and stop it! Yeah-baby

  43. Sweetpea says:

mmd: how sweet, you have a new year cuddle :)

  44. Sorry Midwest….I’m all out of ideas :(

  45. Temp SD – Great thinking on your part! I see you are coming around. :-)

  46. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – Good morning honey!!! Yes, we need to get those fake invites out ASAP!!!!

    Happy 2010 everyone!

  47. Morning AM, TSD, Sincere, Lisa, VaSB and lurkers!

I LOVE sleeping in…and it doesn’t happen nearly enough.

Preparing goodies for my sweet sd’s visit…his birthday is tomorrow…any tips, suggestion, etc (outside of the obvious)?

  48. Temporary SD says:

Oh Engagement SB didn’t get anything since the word Engagement except for $20 cab fare and she slept over twice and made dinner in that time. Got me back to ‘even.’ :)

I got Trailer SB to send me her full name, address, bank acct, DOB, SSN, telephone #s… See it can be fun. :(

Oh, I did ask her to email pics of her roomate which she did twice (of course they never arrived 😉 ) I also told her to have her roomate come up for the cash since she is 18 and has nothing better to do. Well, that didn’t work.

  49. SincereSD says:

Argh, hate this keyboard on my new netbook. last post should have read:

    1. We’ve all been there. It sounds like you need to be more selective on your dates and/or toughen up with them.

    Additional comments:

    3. Think positively and cast your net wider. Check out my comments on Sugar Dating is a Game of Odds. Depending on your area, there are 6-10 SB for every SD on this site.

    4. Post some positive information. We have a tendency to get a little negative or soapboxy there sometimes. People want to hear the success stories as well.

    5. Self assessment. Learn from your mistakes so you don’t repeat them again. Is there a idea profile/match that you have? I’ve had trouble with model-types in the past and I should learn to stay to stay away from them.

That’s enough for now. I’m throwing this netbook away and going back to a full size keyboard.

  50. Sweetpea says:

Temp SD: I agreed with the rest. It is already a drama to begin with, so why do you want to ask for further drama??…

  51. I forgot to say HAPPY NEW YEAR! to a very important person.

HAPPY NEW YEAR STEPHAN! Without you this blog wouldn’t be possible. I’m wishing you the very best for 2010! Kisses! :)

  52. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Ok I’m off to the mall.
Have a great day everyone :)

  53. SincereSD says:

    Comments for Temporary SD:

    1. We’ve all been there been it sounds like you need to be more selective on your dates and/or toughen up with them. There’s no need to go no time wasting dates like Engagement SB and waste your money if you know it’s not going to work out beforehand.

    2. Be tougher. If you’re in a situation like EngagementSB on a date, you can call it off or suggest to her an alternative (hint, hint). Also, you can have a bit of fun while you’re at it; for example you could have asked Trailer SB for a webcam show of her and her friend (and a copy of her eviction notice afterwards :p)

    3. Think positively and cast your net wider. Check out my comments on Sugar Dating is a Game of Odds.

There are some great SB’s out there. It takes a bit of time to find the right one and avoid the phonies and drama queens along the way.

  54. Temporary SD says:

Break ties? What if the next one wants to get married???

  55. Sweetpea says:

    Haha..sorry, I meant 2010 :)

  56. *I can help* not *I’ll can help*…..lol. I wasn’t even drinking last night…lol

  57. VA SB says:

    Temp SD –

I’m going to go out on a limb here and give an opinion on your post re Engagement SB….it really seems that you need to tell her that you’re not interested anymore. Don’t you think what she’s doing is just a bit out in left field? I mean really? Does she not understand what an SD/SB arrangement is? Heck, I’m new to this, but I’m not stupid….that she is acting this way should be raising all sorts of red flags…

It’s funny – some of the SDs on the blog are finding SBs that seem so awful (over and over again), but I can’t find one….just one…and I’m really nice and funny and would be an awesome SB!

    Oh well….chin up, right?

Anywho, Temp SD – it’s probably time to officially cut ties with her…don’t you think??

    Ciao!

  58. If you can use HTML on the blog, does that mean I could design something with my editor, copy the code, post it on the blog and have it look just like I designed it?

  59. Sweetpea says:

    Good morning Everybody,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Yeah 2020 seem to be a cheerful year, wishing all of you good luck and have fun. :)

  60. Morning Sincere. I’ll can help you with your headache :)

    Hi Lisa! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  61. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Speaking of engaged…

CA Dreamin: You awake yet lover? We need to get our fake invitations done this weekend.

    Morning SincereSD & Temporary SD

I am off…talk to you soon.

  62. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Temporary SD, I don’t think he wants to get married again

  63. Temporary SD says:

Hello, Lisa. Will you and your SD be getting engaged in the near future?

  64. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Good morning

  65. SincereSD says:

Happy new year everyone, especially those bloggers who are awake this morning on the blog, SDN, TSD, AA, Lisa, Va SB. Sorry I missed the west and central bloggers last night but I was a little too happy to stay awake and type :p

Let’s see now, I owe 2Chic, PG, BG and TXSB massages now. Do I get one to nurse my slight headache?

  66. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

AM: Damn just my luck…I will use my imagination :)

AM: If you change the “B” to an “I” you can do italics. Combine them for double the fun.

    Lisa: Morning

  67. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

why do I get the feeling you all are a bunch of junior high kids playing on your computer?

  68. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Wow I feel great this morning. Of course I didnt’ get drunk last night. Getting ready to go out soon for some shopping.

    Happy New Year everyone

  69. My ideas? I can’t say on the blog….It’s waaay too naughty 😉

  70. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Hey AM. Went to take a shower. Feel better now…hhhmmm so what are those ideas lol?

  71. He must have found something to do….lol

  72. Hmmmmm, I’m full of ideas but you live too far away….lol

  73. Is anyone here?

    I haven’t done bold writing yet because I was lazy….isn’t that awful…lol.

  74. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Morning Anna.

    I should have a hang over but I don’t.

Have to go find something entertaining to do this afternoon. Any ideas?

  75. There is an article on MSN about how to get rid of a hangover if anyone is interested :)

  76. Good morning to everyone by the way…..hope everyone isn’t too hung over this morning :)

  77. If you want my opinion, I think you should just let it go. No sense in getting something started…..right?

  78. Temporary SD ~ Sigh….what is it with these women? Sorry Temp. SD.

  79. Temporary SD says:

Well, as expected, Engagement SB was still on her period last night. Nothing was said – though I could tell she was looking for me to say something – ‘Will you marry me?’ perhaps. LoL

This morning she got up and said she had to go. Must be some important business early morning New Years Day. She called herself a cab and then came back into the bedroom where I was still in bed and kissed me on the lips and said ‘darling write me when you are ready to take me seriously. ‘

Shall I write her ‘Dear, men will take you seriously when you stop insulting their intelligence.’ ?

  80. VA SB says:

Happy New Year to everyone on the Sugar Blog…I enjoyed all the comments….you guys are a hoot!

    Ciao!

  81. TXSB says:

    SDN:
I agree with Beach…..her and I making out will cost you extra. :)

    SincereSD:
If you’re still offering, I would LOVE to have a full body massage! B/T work and gym, my body is always sore… *pout*
    ——————————————————————————-

So for NYE, I went out with a friend to see a movie and then to eat dinner. It’s about 3:30 a.m. and I just got home a little while ago. It was a very low key, relaxed evening. I got to talk to my friend about a lot of things that has been on my mind lately.

Once again…Happy New Year! I wish everyone all the best for 2010! :)

    Good night!

  82. 2Chic says:

Good night Beach, Thanks for bringing it in with me. You are a Gem! Goodnight. :)

  83. 2Chic says:

I am so excited about this new chapter of my life in 2010.

  84. Happy new year to all…and may 2010 be sugary for all….

  148. Who ever is going to sleep…..have sweet dreams :)

Sincere got me all worked up so I don’t think I can sleep right now. I need a cold shower first.. 😉

  149. I’m off to sleep in the New Year. Have to rest up for my sugar weekend.

MCM – Happy New Years – Kiss!

    Goodnight all!

  150. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    I am still here :)

  151. I’m surprised Dick Clark is still doing NYE in NYC

  152. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Still here but heading for sleep soon Anna.

  153. Everybody must have run off to bed….lol

  154. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

LOL…I have one more hour to go, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  155. One year I will be in Times Square for New Years. I do like th idea of flying from the East Coast to the West Coast on NYE to see the fireworks coast to coast.

  156. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

Happy New Year Sugar Fam!! :)

  157. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    ** kiss **

  158. UncommonSB says:

    Happy New Year!!!! Mwah!

  159. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Who wants to give me a kiss? 😉

  160. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Happy New Year!

  161. UncommonSB says:

Wow. I destroyed the word analytical! Just realized it.

  162. UncommonSB says:

A chocolate martini would be great with a piece of chocolate truffle cake!

  163. Sincere, I don’t have handcuffs just a couple of silk scarves….will that work for you?

  164. UncommonSB says:

AA: I definitely fit the definition of Virgo concerning the relentless thirst for knowledge and being anylitical by nature, but the conservative part is way off base. I’m a free spirit.

SDN: I have a Gemini friend, and she is constantly trying to make up her mind, always wanting contradictory things.

TT: Ooh a b-day date! That sounds fun.

  165. Sincere – would you and Alluring Anna like that as a body shot??

    8 minutes!

  166. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Taz: No drinks, but I am enjoying some chocolate:)

  167. I just got an email asking me to record myself talking and send him the tape because the he loves a girl with a southern accent…..lol.

The other email was just a phone number and he said call me…sigh.

  168. SincereSD says:

    AA,

Hmm … good point … now where those blog handcuffs that Gemi left behind 👿

Setting Barry White vinyl LP to “I’m qualifies to satisfy you.”

Another drink bartender … Make it a fuzzy navel.

  169. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

Uncommon – Ty – haha have a non-sugar site sugar date on my bday…should be interesting 😉

    Is everyone drinking tonight?

  170. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    I meant ‘friends’

  171. UncommonSB says:

TT: One of my favorites! I have a couple of close Capricorn friends.

  172. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

UncommonSB: My sign does suit me quite accurately. I have never been that into astrology, but just recently the discussion came up among friend and we thought it would be interesting to read our signs and see if there was any relevance to them.

  173. UncommonSB says:

AA: Me too! The virgin part is laughable!

  174. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

UncommonSB: I am a Gemini and yes I come here often.

Sincere: I would give in if I were you.

  175. Sincere ~ Why would I want you to resist?

  176. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

    Uncommon – I am Capricorn :)

  177. I’m a virgo….the virgin of the zodiac :)

  178. SincereSD says:

    AA,

You’ll have to turn off that Barry White music otherwise I don’t be able to resist your allure.

  179. I don’t follow horoscopes at all, but I think the Aries decriptions suit me perfectly.

And yes… I do come here often. You can buy me a drink now.

  180. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

MMD: I will take a glass of Riesling and the full body massage sounds tempting. However, I am anxious to try the hot stone massages that have become the talk of the blog lately:)

  181. UncommonSB says:

Astrology talk. So, for all who are on, what your sign?

MCM & MMD: Aries – do you feel that the general characteristics and descriptions fit you well?

lol – isn’t this usually followed by “Come here often?”

  182. Can we listen to some Barry White while you rub my body with oil?

  183. Ladies – Sincere is upping the ante. Who’s in??

  184. SincereSD says:

    Thanks MWMD,

Was it Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin who said that they feel sorry for people who don’t drink because when they wake up in the morning that’s the best they are going to feel all day.

Tempt? We said tempt? Can I interest a blog SB in a full body massage?

  185. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Anna: We were waiting for you!

  186. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

MMD: OMG! I was thinking the same thing:) So, you are a fellow Ram! The first time I read the description of an Aries woman, I was a bit baffled at how on target it was. The description I read said we are the hardest sign in the Zodiac to match with men….lol

    Hi sweet Anna:)

  187. I joined the party late…ugh :(

I always miss the good stuff!

  188. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

UncommonSB: Yes, The Notebook is good, that movie made me cry.

  189. Hi everyone….I was playing cards. Is everybody drunk?

  190. Mmmmm- One chocolate martini coming up! Complet with chocolate shavings on top.

MCM- A fellow ram (sheep?)- I knew there’s a reason I liked you. They looked at me when they wrote the descriiption for Aries women.

  191. SincereSD says:

MMW, pour me a chocolate martini please!

I’m here on my ‘berry lurking. People are wondering why I being antisocial … Should I tell them why? :p I am so stuffed from food and drinks.

No sugar tonight; current SB is gone home to see siblings and seeing old SB tomorrow for lunch … I’ll bet she’s looking for a hangover relief massage.

    Ciao

  192. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

MMD: Yes, my friends tease me by saying I need a Mr. Darcy because he could handle an Aries personality…lol

UncommonSB: I was referring to what state you lived in. Just curious because there are a couple from TX, Canada, NY and overseas and some of us (me) are alone :(

  193. Let me correct that last stataement…Mr. Darcy would be the perfect SD as he paid close attention to james. :-)

SDN – You are one lucky guy and in great company. We love our blog sds…especially ones who tease and tempt us with snuggies and happy meals.

  194. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Less then an hour to go! Who could be happier with such wonderful blog ladies to spend it with.

  195. UncommonSB says:

MCM: I’m in AZ via NY and PA as a kid, or are you referring to ethnicity?

  196. I think Mr. Darcy would be the perfect SD.

  197. UncommonSB says:

    Happy New Year east coasters!

  198. UncommonSB says:

I’m usually not a ‘love story’ girl, but I do lovePride and Prejudice. Another that gets me sniffling is The Notebook. There are only a few stories ever that have left me sniffling, wondering if I’ll ever find that type of love.

  199. This has to be the quietest I have seen the blog in a long time. Is everyone writing their resolutions? My resolution is to write down all the things I accomplished for the year and check them off for 2010. :-)

Animal House is STILL a hilarious movie!

  200. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

MMD: I love it! My favorite character is Lizzy; our personalities are quite similar…lol I believe Gangs of New York is based on real history; wasn’t the main character a mobster?

UncommonSB: Do you mind me asking where you are from? If you don’t want to say on the blog I understand:)

  201. Truly one of the greats! I must have watched it 100 times!

  202. UncommonSB says:

    Hi MCM!

  203. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

MMD: Hey! Pride and Prejudice….I LOVE Jane Austen

Hi Anna, UncommonSB and SDN :)

  204. UncommonSB says:

SDN: It’a almost time for the ball to drop east coast time!

  205. Hi MCM – What movie would that be??

  206. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    Hi Sweet Sugars!

I hope everyone is doing well this evening:)

What’s all this talk about boobies??…lol

I skipped out on my friend’s NYE Party and opted for solitude :) Getting ready to watch my favorite movie of all time!

  207. OK – let’s talk more offline.

Does anyone know…Is Gangs of New York based on real history? this is brutal? zPutting a damper on my NYE. It’s like watching acar wreck where you can’t turn away.

  208. UncommonSB says:

    I might be game.

  209. I would be willing to share a room for the weekend to save money. Any takers?

  210. UncommonSB says:

    SDN: Aww.

Well I hope I get to meet as many of the blog fam as possible. It’s so nice to put not just a face, but actual voice inflection and facial expressions, to the written word.

  211. Rates are ok…funny thing is it costs almost the same if you stay for one night or the weekend. We’ll see.

  212. UncommonSB says:

MMD: That would be awful! I can see it now, me hobbling in to dinner with all of you hotties in heels with my super tan face and big light circles around my eyes! Perfect!

  213. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

I probably won’t make the SoCal meet since it is so close to the Chicago. Would love to go.

  214. UncommonSB says:

CA Dreamin: Next time you pop in… I’m fresh out of the gates trying to learn my first ‘real’ song. Probably not the best time to try it, considering the wine and all, but I couldn’t stand one more day of the lesson songs. Thought it would be easy since the hand positions are simple, but the whole thing is staccato and presenting a challenge. Got any tips.

  215. Yes, the ski trip may want to come after…just don’t end up on crutches like TLG – no jinxes here!

  216. UncommonSB says:

All I know is that it is tentatively scheduled for Feb 25th in LA, with more details to follow as date draws closer.

  217. UncommonSB says:

Ooh, just thought of the horrible reverse racoon goggle tanlines I would have after 4 days on the slopes. On second thought, maybe the meet day should proceed the snowboarding.

  218. I haven’t decided yet. I might have a record to uphold as I will soon have been to 2 out of 2 meets. I’d love to go to CA in the winter, but really want to see my family in FL. I will weigh all the options. Have they decided where/when?

  219. UncommonSB says:

Major typos, the wine is kicking in!

  220. UncommonSB says:

Midwest & SDN: Are you planning to go to the SoCal meet as well? I think I might actually go. I may make a whole week long trip out of it, since I won a 5day/4nt trip to Mammoth (still have to pay for travel htough). If I put the trip off to Feb, I can always kill 2 birds with one stone and go to the meet as my last day in CA before coming home.

  221. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Midwest: Anna Molly was the one that found the restaurant. But thank you!

  222. I think Alluring Anna fell asleep in the tub :-)

  223. SDN – btw – nice restaurant you picked for the 12th.

  224. SDN – you’re such a good SD! Perhaps we will keep you around a while :-) I need a refill.

  225. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Boobies??? OK lets go shoe shopping!!!

  226. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

SDN – YES!!! Lol…I am honored to be chosen!!

  227. and purses!

Beach – we should warm him up a bit…boobies, Big Boobies, Really big boobies!

  228. SDN~ Midwest and I are sisters, and we need to help our cousin out …. She also need SHOES!

  229. SDN~ you are stuck with a bunch of SBs that will be drinking too much!!! poor you 😉

  230. SDN~ TXSB and I making out is gonna cost you extra 😀

    Midwest~ Oh YAY,,, lol i forgot already… 😀

    Roda~ You go girl!

  231. UncommonSB says:

SDN: Looks like you’re the lone ranger.

  232. SDN – Perhaps a little shopping downtown then. La Perla, LV, I’ll let you know when I’m done. My poor sick cousin needs lingerie and shoes.

  233. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

UncommonSB: I am glad you are taking me up on my offer :)

Midwest: Test drive? My feelings are hurt of course I will make the transfer in the morning. ** sad eyes **

Taz: I extend my offer to you also.

Am I the only SD that decided not to go out?

  234. UncommonSB says:

MMD: I’m watching a House Hunters Int’l marathon. I love finding out about neighboorhoods and real estate prices around the world. Someday…

  235. UncommonSB says:

SDN: Sounds like a deal – lol

  236. Hi Taz and Uncommon

Yummy – Chocolate truffle cake and wine!!!

I’m watching Gangs of New York for the first time.

  237. UncommonSB says:

Hi everyone! Decided to stay home this evening after all. The options were to go out with ‘work’ people, all of whom are much older ultra conservative types that I don’t necessarily feel like sharing a champagne buzz with… or 3 invites from friends who will be out in the ‘thick of it’ with reckless crowds and jello shots. I’ll pass.

This is the first holiday season in a long time that I’ve been single, and it’s starting to feel wierd right about now. Sooo… I decided get a rediculously fattening chocolate truffle cake from an amazing baker in town and have some wine by my lonesome instead.

Interesting chatter this evening! You guys are cracking me up!

  238. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

    Good evening everyone :)

I will be here…but am watching movies 😛 I’ll join the party every once in awhile :)

  239. SDN – Famous last words! No free test drives!

  240. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Midwest: I make you the same GENEROUS offer I made TXSB & Beach Girl. Transfer first thing in the morning! Trust me :)

  241. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

TXSB & Beach Girl: Lets negotiate. The snuggie and happy meal paid up front, the minor issue of the transfer will be the next morning – heck the bank is closed or I would transfer it now :( Deal?

  242. Beach – you silly girl…it was you who sent it to me!

    Bye TXSB

AA – Can we squeeze Naughty Molly in as well?

SDN – Such a deal! Can you wire the money right now and I will CONSIDER your offer…I may have to take care of my sick cousin (twice removed) tomorrow.

  243. 2Chic says:

    Roda… 😉

  244. TXSB says:

    TemprarySD:
    Good one!
    ——————————————————

    Midwest & Beach:
    Hi! :)
    —————————————————–

    SDN:
Wow….how can ANY SB pass up that offer! 😉

OK, I’m about to head out……see you guys later!!! :)

  245. SDN~ I need the money, in cash , up front, before the night of passion! lol oh and i need a snuggie and a happy meal too!

  246. Temporary SD~ HAHAHAH

    Midwest~ Share your good news!

TXSB~ Happy new year girl…. Have fun tonight, have a drink for us! xoxo

  247. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

SBs: I believe all of your problems are real…reposed car, being evicted, flat tires on the trailer, BF stole the babies shoe money…I will give each of you 15K to help you out, I only ask for a night of passion with you. I will wire the money the next morning :)

  248. Alluring Anna *397377* says:

Of course Midwest, I have a two person tub 😉

  249. Temporary SD says:

    TXSB says:
    TemporarySD:
Yikes @ your “rent” story. I’m always amazed as to how SDs manage to find such “SBs”

    We log in.

  250. Midwest~ hey girl!!! What kind of great news did you get? we want to know?

  251. Beach! I got some great news today!!!

    TXSB – Hi!!

  252. Hi Everyone! Happy New Year~!!!

Temporary SD~ wow, Where are you meeting these girls? lol…

  253. SDN – LMAO!!

AA – May I join you??

Temp – Actually, the tires went flat on the trailer, the hurricane straps aren’t strapped down and a CAT 5 hurricane is coming…can I have $15K for a trip with my broke bf? Shhhh…IRL SD – don’t tell

  254. Roda says:

    IRLSD

Please, Dude! You are so full of shit. You have already lied many times here, and that is from all the contradictions in your own posts.
If you are going to bring the bible in this too, you are a sad man.
Funny how you remind me of the SD with the Walmart girl and her boyfriend, you are pitiful. You are arrogant and full of crap

I wish everyone would ignore you.
I hope no one defends him here, this is my opinion of all of his posts, Full of lies!
Polish girl, I think that is crap. First you were meeting her on Wednesday then out of the blue you met her already? What? And what happened to her no really understanding english, your words not mine? now your in love, HAHAH…
A suggestion for reading, all of the posts IRLSD has posted to see all the crap, If no one believes me. It’s all lies.

I hope all the real SUGARS Have a happy new year
You are all wonderful to read, except IRLSD

  255. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

He was Pakistani so i’m not sure which type he was

  256. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

My car will not be repocessed because I don’t have one. Now as long as my apartment doesn’t get shut down this month

  257. TXSB says:

    Lisa:
Oh I didn’t know that…..was he Sunni or Shia?
    ———————————————————————

    SDN:
Yep. It would be so easy for a SD who belives in mutah to justify having a SB (if he’s married) by claiming mutah……Anyway……I don’t want to start a huge discussion on religion. LOL…..it was just a passing thought.
    —————————————————————–

    TemporarySD:
Yikes @ your “rent” story. I’m always amazed as to how SDs manage to find such “SBs”…….I hope you have better luck in 2010. :)

  258. Temporary SD says:

The SBs that paid their rent two days early are about to have their cars reposessed.

  259. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

TXSB: Good to see you. Did you mean Mutah?

Alluring: Sounds like you are blogging in style.

Midwest: What is cheesy about that? Sounds classy

#5 You think a boobie glass is classy.

  260. Temporary SD says:

Kidding? Are you Kidding? Try an find an SB that doesn’t need money wired or be evicted on Easter Sunday.

  261. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

My ex husband was a Muslim. As long as they can support everyone, they can have as many wives as they can afford. My husband only had one. His dad was a business owner and only had 1. I think you gotta be rich to have several.

  262. TXSB says:

    Hi Everyone! :)

I’m not totally caught on up on the blog…just skimmed through.

Interesting comments on the Bible…I wonder what the Quran has to say about all this….I know Shia’s believe in mutaa…

    LARA:
Congrats on the SD!!!! I’m very happy for you!!! :)

I’m getting ready to meet a friend to see a movie tonight…..I see the blog party has started already.

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope all of you have a wonderful evening! Hopefully all of us will find what we’re seeking in 2010. :)

  263. Alluring Anna *397377* says:

I never got around to my bath earlier so I’m in the tub now. I have my candles and my chanpagne and Barry White playing in the background….this is heaven.

  264. SDN – I have a special glass for you…Double D Boobies with perky nipples on the glass. Cheesy I know, but you love it.

  265. If anyone is interested, I have the martini bar open!

  266. 2Chic says:

IRL… are you sure you want to go there with me? Because sweetheart…. if you are going to start pulling bits and pieces out to validate your behavior, I can pull some majors you also need to apply. The Bible states many, things and it takes much study, discernment, and meditation to gain the insight of it. With out wisdom, a person will apply it to validate anything. The history and culture of early times are not that of our society today, and religion is man-made. That is why it causes so much confusion. So you can dismiss that. That is why I said, do NOT bring the Bible in it. Now lets leave it at that.

  267. Cheers SDN.

SRH – Margarita please! Love a little cheese too!

  268. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Time to start pouring the bourbon! The party has started!

  269. IRLSD says:

This particular SB going to 15K for a weekend, part of the problem with her was that she was always asking for more than the 5K monthly allowance. One day she wanted $1000 shoes, another day she wanted a ca$h christmas gift, etc. I felt that she was being too demanding when all we did was meet for dinner or cupcakes a few times?

On a different note, a friend of mine is dating a girl who worked at an escort agency and supposedly her job was hiring escorts. She told him to warn me about escorts being on SA for the sake of their pimps. She said it was very very difficult for them to make sure the escorts they were hiring didn’t have secret pimps. Makes me look back and wonder about some people I’ve met….

  270. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Sure SDN. All are invited. Open house at my place :)

  271. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

sounds tasty but i’ll stay away from the oysters, lol

IRLSD, they do sell drug testing kits in the stores. Not sure if they give immediate results or if you have to mail them in.

  272. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Sweetred: Could I have some oysters with crackers, horseradish & Tabasco? I will bring beer to the party.

  273. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Lol Lisa I paid my today. Guess I am not likely to get an SD sence my rent and bills are paid lol

  274. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I bought all kinds of snacks for tonight, had a party planned but only a few are coming (see post above)

I have shrimp, oysters, cheese platter, meat platter, chips and dips, Margaretta’s, and more lol

  275. IRLSD says:

Polish SB does not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I was sooooo happy to hear that :)

I don’t care if someone wants to use drugs, as long as I am not the one paying for them. Plus an SB into drugs is likely sleeping with her drug dealer and half the druggies in town to get a fix. Not worth the risk. I heard they have urine drug test kits at the pharmacy. I could add that to my screening process on the first date, lol.

  276. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Well rent is due tomorrow, lol

I paid my yesterday. I like to be early

  277. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Some men will pay anything for arm candy. To each his own.

  278. IRLSD says:

I am serious. I now bring up drugs at the first meet with every SB and make it absolutely clear I will not pay for someone’s drug habit. Actually, my first meets are full of stories of previous SBs-gone-wrong so that if the girl is or is planning to be like them, she can just move on from me instead of wasting my time. But each one thinks that she is somehow different even if she is not.

  279. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Sweetredhead: WHAT’S FOR DINNER?

I’m having ham and swiss cheese on kaiser rolls. Taking in a few extra calories but I’ve been back on my nut, oatmeal, and fruit diet all week.

  280. Whips and chains should bring ATX out of hiding too.

4- She calls you months after the arrangement is over (on a holiday) needing “rent” money.

  281. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Sweetred: Very :)

CA Deamin: I missed my fake fiance.

  282. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

sounds nice sweetredhead. I was hoping to move somewhere better myself as there is a chance my apartment might get shut down in the future with 6 building code violations but with bad credit and not enough income, that’s not going to happen. Anyway things could be worse.

Why anyone gets involved with drugs I don’t understand. I don’t even drink very often. I’ve always been one that wanted to be alert when I have problems, not try to drown them away, as they will still be there.

  283. IRLSD says:

Another ex-SB (I dumped her because she was married) texted me this afternoon to see how I am doing and I told her the truth about the status of my sugar life. She then told me she is meeting someone out of town for three days and two nights for $15K. Impressive. Her profile picture is exceedingly attractive, but that is a huge sum.

  284. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

LMAO@SD NEOhio boobs and butt!! Happy now?

  285. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

IRLSD Omg are you guys serious about these woman? Or pulling our leg? Drugs, evictions, drama queens. No wonder you all are discouraged.

  286. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Boobies?

  287. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Smacks head…class in now in secession! lol

  288. IRLSD says:

Temporary SD, you are not alone. I got a bunch of texts last night from an old SB saying that she is getting evicted. I basically told her, “You are not my SB any more. I was very nice and generous to you. You had your chance with me but you blew it. And we never even had sex (not that I even wanted to with her).” I suspect she is not evicted, just out of cash for drugs.

  289. IRLSD says:

2Chic, who is talking hypocrisy? Google the word “pilegesh” and you’ll see just how the Bible is open to more than just “traditional” western marriages. The Romans were the supposedly monogamous ones (with many mistresses of course), so they forced Judaism and Christianity to become monogamous religions. I think bringing up religion as it pertains to sugar-dating is fair game for the blog.

  290. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I now live in a condo, with a pool and gym and on the water.

  291. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    ok, I wondered what happened.

  292. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

    I moved lol

  293. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I thought you lived in a house with a pool?

  294. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

LOL lisa sound like a wonderful mother NOT!!

My condo is right nest to a very popular restaurant/club going to be hopping tonight. It was last night and someone set our fire alarms off at 4am ughhh.

  295. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I got my first email of the new year (well almost new yr) I like his profile, will see how it goes :)

  296. Lisa – Y2K – any excuse to stock up on liquor!

I agree that I do NOT have much desire to be out on NYE unless it’s behind the bar making money. People seem to consider NYE an excuse to do stupid things…I’m out.

I’m happy hanging out at home with my sweet sugar friends.

BOOBIES – seeing if the sds are still here!

  297. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Looks like the New Year’s festivities have already started here. Neighbors are out barbecuing and drinking beer. Gotta love that warm mom and baby moment (baby in one arm, bottle of beer in the other, cigarette in mouth).

I remember 10 years we were wating for the big 2000 black out.

  298. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I rather be home and host my own parties. I hate driving on new years eve around here. Between the old people who can barely walk and think they can drive to the young who are texting and driving and then others who just can’t drive at all lol

  299. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Good evening everyone

Finally home from work. No plans. Checked to see if best friend wanted to come over when she gets off work at 8 to eat and watch movies. She declined as she’s headed to the dumpy bars to meet losers.

  300. 3- Her theme song is “Fancy” by Reba McIntyre

  301. CA Dreamin SB says:

Just caught up – and have to go! But before I do..

SDN, honey, I don’t fake anything!

(Except, of course, for our whole fake engagement, wedding, reception, kids, etc. ) LOL

Bye everyone – see you in 2010!!!

  302. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Temporary SD are you serious? You are joking right?

  303. 2- She asks you to wire $600 for her trailer or she will be evicted from her trailer in 3 hours

  304. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Took an hour nap, woke up to it being cold again. Was such a nice day today.

Looks like I will be here for the blog party. My friends husband hurt his back and they have canceled. another friend has the flu. and Another guy friend got a better offer lol. SO here I am with all this food and only 4 people coming over tonight.

  305. Temporary SD says:

A lovely Florida lady who told me the other day the rent on her trailer is $450/mo (and she has an 18yr old roomate who is also on SA – oh, and by the way could her roomate come too and I get two for one (errrr…I pay for two plane tickets for one night???) asked me today to wire $600 as an emergency or she would lose her home and be evicted tomorrow if she didn’t pay the landlord by 3pm today.

A little busy at the moment, she thought she could get the landlord to hold out until 5pm. Boy those end of month rent payments and one day Holiday evictions. Landlords are such bastards – no wonder most are men. LOL

  306. CA Dreamin SB says:

First time I’ve been able to get on line today – but I wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my blog friends – hope you all have a wonderful night!!!

  307. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

IRLsd… please…please… do not bring the Bible into this. I find that very hypocritical. I am so trying to remain a lady by replying to any of your posts, but “DUDE”! …. 😮

    LMAO!! too funny.

  308. I’m off to have dinner….I shall return :)

  309. Hi 2Chic! Thank you

I’m envisioning the break-out session to follow the format of “You know you’re a redneck if…”

    You know she’s a drama queen if…
1- She is calling you from a jail cell for bail money

  310. Hi AM, Temporary SD, Sincere – Drama Queen Magnet and IRL SD

Lara – so glad you got through the negotiations – it’s a bit awkward, but worth having no surprises (like Sincere). On that note, james and I even included expectations about dating outside of the sb/sd relationship.

Sincere – you, NYGent, Temporary SD and MoonPatrol need to meet up with the ladies at the meets and attend our new break-out session “Drama Queens and how to id/avoid them” . I’m sure we can ever provide prizes. We will prepare you for 2010. How about that private room in Chicago guys??

  311. 2Chic says:

MMD: very well put. I like that.

IRLsd… please…please… do not bring the Bible into this. I find that very hypocritical. I am so trying to remain a lady by replying to any of your posts, but “DUDE”! …. 😮

  312. 2Chic says:

Hello Sincere Darling! I hope you have a wonderful NYE, and may it be a great year to come. Did you get my gift?? 😉

  313. Good evening sugars! Has the party started yet?

    A few general comments:

    Love –
There is the love of the chase – getting all flustered about the new beauty who thinks you walk on water, but once you get past week 2 or 3, reality sets in and it’s off to love the next chase. Personally, I find this to be destructive to all parties involved.

There is falling in love with love. The hopelessly romantic idea that this person could be the one you’ve been wanting to fall in love with your entire life. The romantic notion that someday you will meet your prince charming and all will be right with the world. I blame the poets and movie directors, but will still read, hope and enjoy with a glass of wine.

There is the love that is staring you in the face and you never see it. He/She may not be attractive enough, smart enough, drive the right car, etc., so you never consider them. Worse yet, you try to consider them and it doesn’t work. Hopefully, you will still be able to enhance each other’s life.

Love out of default…arranged marraiges, marraiges for financial or political gain, marraiges where a single mom is doing what she can to keep a roof over her head. Over time, these couples either fall deeply in love or achieve desired results and move on. It’s more like a business arrangement where both parties know the other’s motives. Is this like SA?

The love I believe to be real and true takes work on both parts. It’s not always cupid’s arrow, but some couples get lucky. It’s comfortable and uncomfortable, easy and hard, messy and wonderful, but it is always there…”reliable” is a word I heard earlier. It’s the stories of forgiveness, tolerance, understanding, endurance and ultimately success that your parents and grandparents share. Listen and learn.

Sorry if I ramble, but maybe it will stir up some thoughts.

Married sbs/sds – This is the sugarbowl and we should be able to seek sugar without judgement, jealousy and drama. We are lucky enough to create our “perfect world” even if on a temporary basis with our sugar and it helps us enjoy/ cope/ fit-in with the rest of the world around us.

Cleo – I believe I stated that if you are contagious, stay home. That said, SDN is willing to cuddle up and be sick in bed if it means a little sugar!

  314. Sincere ~ Are you going to be around for the party tonight?

  315. Oh Sincere I’m sorry to hear about you drama trouble. If things don’t work out I’m sure you’ll have no trouble finding an new SB. :)

  316. SincereSD says:

Wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe NYE tonight! May we all enjoy a sugary new year in 2010.

Have been super busy over the break; I need holidays just to recover from them.

Lara says: It seems like I have a SD as of yday. And that was possible to your great advice (OC, TXSB and of course this blog wink wink). The negotiation part was a bit weird to me -because I simply don’t like asking- but it ended where both of us wanted.

Congrats Lara. I would say that negotiation and consensus by both parties is critical.

I started a new relationship where the expectations were vague because the other party wouldn’t want to discuss them. She thought my original offer was too generous and wanted to go with a per visit instead of a bi-monthly upfront allowance; we started the relationship but I left it up to her to come back with a counter-proposal. She is feeling exploited because I’m not meeting her “expectations” (whatever they were). W T F!

I think we’re in agreement now but I’m not sure we will survive the hurt feelings and initial rift.

Women … Can’t live with them, can live without them.

Signed Sincere aka Drama Queen Magnet

  317. Temporary SD says:

Could she wear the zirconium in her belly button?

    Its all about terms right?

  318. IRLSD says:

Temporary SD, I have been in your situation–just being with an SB to kill an evening and paying the $200-$500. Of course, if the SB is fine, then it could have a future, but if not, oh well, no big deal, and I don’t feel like I used her, as she got compensated for her time.

As for the engagement, I agree with TXSB–cubic zirconium all the way, but I would not be able to do it if she expects the world to know about us being engaged. The point of sugar relationships is often discretion.

  319. Temporary SD says:

    Hi,

So I let Engagement-SB go. By the way, that night we talked about the engagement idea I said I’d think about it (next morning I blogged). We went to the bedroom and she comes out of the bathroom and announces ‘bad news:’ ‘Just started my period’ LOL

So I send her in a cab home that morning and don’t get out of bed to say goodbye (later I posted here)

She texts to say thanks that afternoon and I don’t respond. This afternoon – finding other SA ladies complete frauds and having no date tonight – I text her to come over tonight. She replies somewhat later does this mean we are engaged…no response from me…couple more hours go by and I get a text she’ll be here 9:30 LOL

Well if she shows, its several hundred dollars less than the other SA SBs think they should get for ‘dropping by’ for a few hours. I know who I am getting and if there is no sex, so what? We’ll cuddle.

What have I learned in 2009…you don’t even want to start to hear about it. Guys: RUN!!!! Keep your wallets IN your pockets. Don’t feed the monster!!!

What will I be doing in 2010 – you don’t want to hear that either. LOL

  320. IRLSD says:

I personally would prefer not to be with a married SB. Part of it is religious—just look in the Bible and you will see polygyny all over the place but no polyandry. Besides that, at the end, I feel like it is her husband’s job to provide for her. I’d even have a problem with someone with a live-in boyfriend for the same reason. Why should I pay their rent for him to live comfortably and sleep with her whenever he wants? Seems like I’d be his sugar daddy then. But that having been said, I have been with married SBs. However, they have always lied about what their marriage really meant in their of their spouses’ lives, so it always ends up more complicated than they present it at the beginning.

SDN, you’re absolutely right, I tolerate previously existing BFs much better than I would a new one.

Anonymous Too, if they were not as hot, I’d never fall for them. But in my own defense, I’d say that an SB would never fall for a broke SD no matter how nice he is. As for the Polish girl, she will be quitting her mall job soon. She said she will cut back to once a week starting next week when she starts “working” for me, and I assume that she will give up that completely once she sees that I am really serious about what I am offering her. Plus, the other guys hitting on her at the mall offer nothing but sex/romance, so I am not specifically worried about the competition. She is very smart—she knows I offer her a master’s degree, and the others offer her a dead end. And you’re right—it is puppy love, no question. But, as my wife says, puppy love is the only true love.

And NYGent is totally correct, everyone is looking for something different. Honesty is a good thing. In my case, she should know that if I get jealous, my solution will be to meet other SBs and she’d be history in no time. She should know that. If she wants to meet other guys, fine, I would never stop her, but I very well might stop supporting her.

  321. IRLSD says:

Cleo, I wish my marriage was like your parents’.

UncommonSB, I admit it is hypocritical. But from my experience, if the SB is seeing other guys, I will feel free to see other SBs, and sugar bowl is so full of beautiful young charming women that in no time I will forget about the SB, and it will be harder for her to find someone else than it would be for me. So telling an SB that we should have this skewed exclusivity (with me having just her and my wife and her having just me), works out to her benefit at the end.

  322. I think I’m going to take a hot bubble bath, put on my VS jammies and take a little nap. See you all soon :)

  323. LASB says:

SDN – Not only did they forget meeting me, they forgot rejecting me. LOL!!!!! Update on that, the repeat guy now wants me to justify why I am rejecting him! Very entertaining sugar day indeed.

  324. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

LASB: I have a very sexy vision of you in your bikini! Thanks you are starting my night out right.

LASB & AM: How could any man forget meeting either of you? Not possible.

  325. LASB says:

*ANNA Molly. Now I’m doing the typos. lol.

  326. LASB says:

    NYGent – I’m guessing that was a typo, since it’s spelled C-h-o-o-s.

SDN – Yes, I said exactly that.

Uncommon – Yes! You hit the nail on the head. Totally last call, or even worse… What I like to call “the sidewalk sale” which happens after they kick everyone out of the bars.

Ann Molly – The “I don’t know if we’ve talked before” line would be an instant deal breaker. And I thought it was just because I live in a big city. Yikes.

  327. I guess I should have refreshed before I posted the last comment…lol

  328. LOL…I think most men do, it seems like the magic word around here. hehehehe.

Hi NYGent! ~ How is California? Are you going to be around for the party?

  329. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

NYGent: you are a gentleman and a scholar. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

  330. NYGent says:

If I don’t see you all before the midnight hour have a great one. going into san fran shortly for a party, you know, the usual, shoes and champagne, nothing exotic.

  331. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Anna: OOOhhhhh…I love boobies.

  332. NYGent says:

    Happy New Year all!

SDN: I tend to agree with you. If i am single and uncommitted then I want an SB who is the same. I would not be happy if she “found” a BF after we entered an arrangement, or later said, “btw did I forget to tell you I already had a BF” prior to the arrrangement. That would probably end it for me. If were married or had serious IRL GF then I wouldn’t expect excusivity from the SB, that’s different. And since the SA relationship is NSA I think either should be able to casually talk to/see other pots, although if they’re doing so it doesn’t speak well of the status of the arrrangment.

That said there are many, many different permutations on the monogamous vs. multiple SBs/SDs/IRL BFs/IRL GFs and no one should presume to dictate preferences, if you don’t like the other person’s preferences then don’t be their SD or SB. Same goes with other issues such as distace, travel, # of mtgs, married or not, body preferences, etc. Once the SD or SB starts telling the other (or one pot tells another) that they “should” be willing to consider X, or “shouldn’t” let Y stand in the way, it’s a fruitless convo.

  333. cleo says:

    anna molly: i know i know :)

met a pot yesterday who had lied about his age on his profile… and i didn’t feel much zing. liked him though and would see him again if nothing else.

i’m going out this evening actually… to a very similar evening but not online..

  334. Oh Cleo, don’t say that…you never know what will happen. Are you going to be around for the party? I can’t remember if you said you were or not. I hope lots of lurkers come out of hiding…especially the SD’s :)

Did the lurking SD’s hear that? Come out of hiding!
    Pretty please….*pouts and bats eyelashes*

  335. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Hey Anna! Not alone.

    LASB: Did you mention boobies?

  336. cleo says:

am you’re not, i just have nothing to add to that

    and i’m so tired i think i’m a gonna have a nap.

least you will render someone spellbound… i’ll just turn them into friends or something

  337. It also says that I’m likely to have those around me spellbound….maybe my future SD will come and sweep me off my feet tonight at the blog party 😉

  338. Anyone else get an email like this?

    Subject: My Dr. Friend

would you be interested in $3k for a 3 day weekend with a rich doctor in New York? All expenses paid? if so email me a face and body pic. Put NYC TRIP in the subject line. the date that you will be meeting him is Dec. 11-13th and you’ll be with a large number of other girls. hand jobs and blow jobs should be expected. if i have offended you I apologize ahead of time. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

  339. My horoscope says I will be the center of attention at a party….hmm 😉

  340. Yes, they do have good intentions. :)

  341. lara says:

LASAB have fun at the pool, wish I could have time for a spa today!

Do not like to be the rain coat…. (aka re-emailing). But well sometimes ppl have good intentions.

Have to run now, see you all in the 2010!

    ***

  342. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

    oops who is coming.

  343. UncommonSB says:

LASB: LOL – are you saying it feels like ‘last call’ today?

  344. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Hey everyone. I just bought way to much food for tonight lol. Having a few friends over but you would think I was having 100. Think I went over board a bit. So….who in coming?

I have shrimp, oysters, cheese platters, chips and dip, olives and pickle platter, and Margaretta’s ready to be made

    Photogirl check your voice mail!

  345. 2Chic says:

Hi to all the Sugas on the Blog!

    Very interesting read,

Anon…. believe me, no one can judge you for being a married SB. I am separated and will be getting the big D soon. I also agree with your comment on IRLsd…

What I have learned from being married is that it really takes two, where one is weak, the other will be the strength in that area. It can’t be all take and no give. We can’t change him/her into “you”. In today’s society there is a virus called “Me-My and I” and it attacks marriages, in a way that few can recover. I am reflecting, and I can honestly say that up until the decision was made to separate, I had never been unfaithful in my marriage. I can walk away knowing I gave my all and will always strive to be the best “me” I can be. Now I am so much more happier, and looking forward to a great New Year!

  346. I get emails all the time from guys who have already talked to me. They usually start by saying “I don’t know if we’ve talked before”…ugh.

  347. cleo says:

LASB nah he just wants to sulk at us for not emailing him

    ;>

  348. LASB says:

Today is the day of repeats! Do any SBs get emails from guys who have already written to them and forgotten, or guys who flat our rejected you and now want to change their minds? Maybe the changing of the year has everyone scrambling. No thanks.

Anyhow looks like the party has already started! :) By the way SDN, I’m in my bikini that flatters my boobies. Heading to the pool. You should join. 😉 Happy 2010.

  349. cleo says:

SDN yeah i agree with you. on all counts :)

  350. UncommonSB says:

Cleo & SDN: I agree that an exclusive sd/sb is not the same as a relationship IRL. The intriguing part about sb/sd singles getting together for me is that it can truly be a perfect balance of noncommitment and a clear shot to the exit door, while offering the possibility for something more if/when feelings become mutually more substantial.

  351. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

cleo: If my SB said she was moving on I would be happy for her. Being able to have an exclusive SD/SB arrangement is why this is sugar and not prostitution. I don’t want a girl just for sex, I don’t want her to be with me for money. Oh we both want those things but we need some glue to hold it together…that is the relationship (sorry Gemini still can’t find a great word). As we see with OCSugarbaby an SD/SB can transform and become more, doesn’t have to, but it can. Awesome.

  352. cleo says:

sdn i can totally respect that feeling. that said, if i fell for someone irl i would likely have to break up with the sd anyway. incentive to go slowly that’s for certain!

it’s funny right, single and with an exclusive sb… and yet we both know that isn’t the same as girlfriend

  353. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

anon SB: Welcome! We are glad you have join your conversation.

cleo: I agree with you and would be willing to commit exclusivity to my SB if she was to me. But if I were married/attached and she were single and then she got into a relationship I would feel jealous – nothing can be done about that it is a feeling. Fair, right, wrong don’t come into play.

  354. cleo says:

SDN: if my sd is single i am willing to be exclusive… assuming he is as well.

if my sd is not single then i am not willing to make the same commitment… would confuse my heart too much to be ‘not available’

that said, it’s unlikely i would look for someone either way

  355. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

UncommonSB: ooooohhhh…I feel all warm and happy now. Thank you.

  356. UncommonSB says:

CA Dreamin: If you’re lurking, you have mail.

  357. UncommonSB says:

    SDNEO: Boobies! Happy now :)

  358. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

I think you SBs tricked us with boobie talk, hasn’t been any since early this morning ** pouting **

Jealousy – as an SD I would be more jealous of a new guy in my SBs life versus an established. It might be dumb but that is how I am. I suspect other SDs are the same way and when approaching a married SB or one with a BF we already have that in mind; we see ourselves giving her more then she has now. If you find someone after you are seeing us we realize we are not enough for you.

  359. lara says:

Like everything else sugar life it’s a series of trials and errors till the right situation and of course the right attitude match with one’s likes.

Just be careful IRLSD and take your time and don’t assume anything yet!

  360. Anon ~ Certainly no backlash from me either. :)

  361. cleo says:

anon sb you aren’t the only married sb on the blog, you can come out of hiding if you want :)

    we TRY to be a non-judgy group…

  362. anonymous too says:

    IRLSD:

It seems from your posts that you fall for these exceptionally gorgeous women and then get infatuated and attached immediately. I wonder if you really examine your feelings with the last SB and Polish SB if you are really in love with the person or the facade. If she wasn’t so beautiful would you feel the same? really?

It seems that men are enraptured by a pretty face/body and they seem to mistake intense lust for love. Once that happens they are goners which is why I would be concerned that this woman might take you to the bank knowing the effect she has on you.

You are already talking about jealousy issues after one date. I think with this woman you better get used to this. If she really gets asked out 10 times a day and gets offers from rich, good looking powerful men every single day at the mall you are in for a roller coaster ride emotionally.

Personally, I don’t know why anyone would want to do this to themselves.

So perhaps be honest with yourself and understand that you are maybe falling in love with a face, not a person. And how having a pretty girl on your arm makes you feel.

And as for love lasting in a marriage- of course it is possible. But keep in mind after 4 years of day in and day out living with someone like the Polish gal it might get old as well. When we are with our SBs/SDs we are on our best behavior of course and we see them maybe once or twice a week. We only see the best in them and it’s a fantasy world without crying children, money worries, sickness and all the crap called “life”

Maybe slow down a bit- get your feelings in check. You are most likely suffering from infatuation and puppy love like when in high school and everyone fell in love with the pretty cheerleader

  363. Anon SB says:

    Uncommon – Exactly!

Honestly, I’m not leaving my spouse – won’t even consider it – but I need something more from this life and I hope a great SD will help me get there… I’m willing to take my time and wait since I don’t need an SD to pay my rent, etc., but there are other lifestyle changes an SD can give me….

I’m very hopeful that I’ll find the right one for me in 2010. I’m not giving up hope just yet…Plus, I think I’m the perfect SB – I’ll never want more than the SD is willing to give from an emotional perspective (or financial).

  364. Moon patrol I can tell you what you should think about a woman that is seeking a SD or SM since I happen to be one of those women. I enjoy both. Intimate encounters with a woman are very different than they are with a man and I have no desire to miss out on anything. 😉

  365. UncommonSB says:

AnonSB: No backlash from me. In fact, your situation would be an example of what I was referring to by an sb also having relationships IRL, and how it’s interesting that it may be considered ‘off limits’ to men who are themselves quite attached. **scratching head** I can’t help myself but to play devil’s advocate at times. For the record, I have run from marriage like the plaque and am single, but would never judge others for what they do or do not do in their own marriages.

I don’t know anyone IRL who has a satisfying marriage after the honeymoon period, which has jaded me a bit. I’m not giving up hope that a phenominal marriage is possible, it just seems unlikely.

  366. Anon SB says:

Hi Anna Molly – Very interesting blog…

I have to say that I have one potential SD who is a submissive….seems very needy and we haven’t even met….always wants to talk on email, wants me to chat all the time, hear my voice…..not sure if I’m ready for what that means…

  367. cleo says:

IRLSD? i don’t know if this will console or not but my parents? still madly in love 45 years later… and i know others like them

Of course there are feelings and emotions in any relationship BUT being married to someone limits the actions that can arise out of a want…rather than someone single. Of course, there is separation, divorce, but IMO it is less likely since there is drama involved…why not keep it simple and enjoyable right? In my case, I have been honest and up front about EVERYTHING. He seems ok with that so I will trust his word as he is a grown man.

I totally agree! It is how you act upon your emotions that make a difference. I would never consider divorce or seperation…ever and I certainly wouldn’t expect my SD to leave their wife by any means.

  369. UncommonSB says:

Lara: I hear what you’re saying about territory and it not being reasonable for an sb to expect a married man to ‘monogamous’ to the arrangement.

I totally understand how the double standard can apply and be agreeable for many, although what works for some does not work for all. I was simply pointing out the irony (not implying wrong or unfair) for a married sd to presume that an sb would not have emotional needs of her own that could only be fulfilled with a relationship IRL, just as he has.

  370. Anon SB says:

Ok, I’m anon for a reason.

In reading IRLSD’s post and a few others, it makes me wonder what is the general thought about married SBs? Does that matter? If she can give her SD the time and attention he needs without her “other life” interfering, does it make a difference?? If you have an SB who is married, then any allowance intended for her will help her “family” in the end, whether she has kids or spouse/kids…

Although any allowance may go for “her” bills and such, eventually it will have an impact on other aspects of her life.

I just wonder if this is why my 2009 sugar life hasn’t been very good….yes, I’m married. I expect there to be backlash from that statement from some folks…. There are reasons I’m married and looking for an SD, but I’m sure folks don’t want to hear them :-).

  371. lara says:

    Thanks Anna.

Happy New Year for you too!

  372. lara says:

I think it’s a double standard with the jealousy , as long as the SD is married. It is understandable that a man has some “teritory” instincts when it comes to a woman(he sugar dates) but it’s not fair per se to require “fidelity” when he goes back to his wife.

Eventualy it comes to what the two agree upon in that matter. Everybody is different and what is normal to one is not for another. For instance to me it is very difficult to develop intense love feelings for someone attached. Yes I can feel attraction but I guess I censor myself to stop there in order not to be hurt.

Lately it happends to me that I bump into a lot of married guys IRL and it is simply not fair. I feel like I am the icing on the cake for them because anyways they have the cake at home. Decided just to talk to one of them and did not go further. Friendship to me it’s enough I doubt that for him ….;.

Thinking that faithfulness became if not obsolete at least relative.

Congrats Lara!!!! Happy sugar year to you 😀

  374. Congrats Lara! :)

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  375. lara says:

    Good Morning everyone,

Wow, a lot of blogging to catch.

Miss talking to you guys but this month was a whirlwind to me. Moving, sorting things out, ex comming into the picture, decisions to make- too many and some sugar dates!

It seems like I have a SD as of yday. And that was possible to your great advice (OC, TXSB and of course this blog wink wink). The negotiation part was a bit weird to me -because I simply don’t like asking- but it ended where both of us wanted.

Just felt taking those news out of my chest, it seems like 2010 will be the year of new beginnings for me!

  376. UncommonSB says:

IRLSD: I have to admit, it does seem a bit ironic to expect the monogamy (and potential jealousy) to be a one way street…

  377. IRLSD ~ I agree about the emotions. Just because someone wears a ring on their finger doesn’t mean that feelings can’t develop for someone else. Everyone talks about NSA in this kind of relationship, but when you are intimate with someone it would be almost impossible not to develop some type of feelings for the person you are with (at least in my opinion)…..it goes along with being human.

  378. IRLSD says:

Taz, even before I went out with Polish girl, just based on a few texts, I had feelings for her, and after one date I suddenly realized that I am way too emotionally attached. We cannot help our feelings.

With my first IRL SB, we started off agreeing that I will stay with my family no matter what, but after a few weeks, it was painful to leave her to go home to my wife and she wanted me forever too. It was difficult and very emotionally painful (although the rewards clearly outweighed the pain, hence why I have been looking for another SB ever since). My point being that even if you’re married, the boundaries can blur due to emotions no one can control.

Polish girl and I discussed this issue a bit, and she was so happy that I was married because she thinks it will keep things simpler. But just yesterday I brought up the issue with her that if she were to date someone else, I cannot predict jealous feelings that might develop and hence hamper my ability to provide for her (e.g. if she has some guy living with her, I’d hate to be paying the rent so that some guy could move in with her and sleep with her every day). She seemed to understand that very well and said that all she cares about is her education at this point and other aspects of her life will have to wait. But then I don’t want to make her feel trapped, but at the same time she should know that there might be issues if jealousy arises. Sucks, I know.

  379. OC ~ Too bad you won’t be here with us. Are you welcoming the new year with your BF? If so have a wonderful time and HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

  380. IRLSD ~ Awwwww, that’s too bad :(

    • OCSugarbaby says:

I will miss your blog party too! Enjoy!!!
Happy New Year to all and make 2010 something to BLOG about!!! ~OC

See you in the new year…

  381. Ty IRLSD – makes sense. He was very happy when I declined and my reason ‘why’…said he trusted me – can you really trust someone after 1.5 convos?? I know I am honest in my profile and in everything I say (VERY honest and forward considering it is not a sugar site and I am not about wasting anyone’s time)..usually one cannot be sure about another until more time is spent…but yes perhaps he is not jaded – which I will honor of course. He wants to meet very quickly, and is willing to travel to me and cater to my needs – I keep reminding him what I am looking for IS mutually beneficial and that it is not ALL about me. We will see…he said he could see himself falling in love with me and that perhaps he already has – GASP! – not what I want at all and I told him we were probably not suited for each other b/c of this early on in our first convo as it would complicate things..unlike an earlier SB poster – I can handle hearing the “L” word more if the SD is married as there are different levels of affection and love…but he is single and I don’t want things to get complicated…he assures me they won’t…

OC – YES – safety – the FIRST commandment 😉

  382. IRLSD says:

Anna Molly, I will be on a plane so I might miss it.

  383. I had a guy from Switzerland add me to his favorites list, but he’s looking for a French speaking travel companion……I don’t speak French.

  384. Taz ~ You’re going to be at the party aren’t you? Does anybody know when it starts?

  385. IRLSD ~ Are you going to make it to our NYE blog party or do you have plans?

  386. Wooohooo!! Ty OC :) Looking forward to it!! I didn’t yet respond to the blog questions – but for sure – I think this year I will be breaking more sugar ‘rules’ and making my own…(of course safety is never compromised)!

    • OCSugarbaby says:

Lovely Statement IRLSD. My change over from SA Sugar arrangement to the SD becoming my real life BF was easier than I thought. But then again each of us were single and open to the possibility. Happy New Year to you too! Sorry btw… 😉

Tazzy Safety is not a RULE it is a Commandment!

  387. IRLSD says:

OC, you have a happy new year!

  388. IRLSD says:

Taz, I guess there is no hard and fast rule to sugar dating. I think SA tends to make it more contractual, but IRL sugar dating is more like a man spoiling a girl financially. I think women underestimate the innate desire of a man to “take care of” a woman financially. Perhaps it goes back to thousands of years of evolution, but at the same time women like the idea of a knight in shining armor coming to save them and of a man who is in control taking charge of everything and making their life wonderful. So sugar dating appeals to various core instincts.

As for him sending money ahead of time, it is because he is enamored/infatuated and that is a way for him to show you love/affection. When you are not jaded, it is easy to put forth gifts/money as a sign of your affection and I have done that many times myself. But it is also uncomfortable for a woman to accept it, because of the sense of “how can I repay him?” (an issue that has been prominent with my IRL SBs but not with SA SBs)

I guess if you have an idea of what you want, it makes sense to nudge him in that direction. But in many ways my best SB relationship was an IRL one in which there was no “arrangement” per se. I took care of everything very generously and she got more out of me (and me out of her) than we could have ever gotten had we negotiated an “arrangement”. But it is hard to do that with a stranger, especially one off the internet.

  390. AM – Haha maybe so…not sure b/c IRLSD knows he wants to be a “SD”…this man didn’t 😛 but is most definitely not opposed to it. I have my reservations b/c he is single and ‘seemed’ to be looking for love but assures me it doesn’t have to be…don’t want BG to pass her love curse on to me 😛

  391. Taz that’s great! Good luck! I bet IRLSD will have some good advice for you :)

  392. So happy for you OC :) You can pass some of that luck on this way..when I am done with it – I will be sure to recycle it for someone else :)

I have a date in a few days (on my bday actually lol) with a sd from a non-sugar site. He seems great but does not understand everything about an arrangement (ie: he wanted to send me money right away – I refused) but I am gently guiding him and he seems receptive and I am hoping it is worth all of the effort. I have a lot of questions (and I am sure some of them would relate to finding a SD irl)..but will spare the blog the bother on New Years and work on things myself for now 😛 He seems very enamored with me (shouldn’t this be a GOOD thing?)..that is giving me doubts I think b/c of my experience seeking an SD thus far…which has been the pot (MOST of them) being very selfish in their notions of an arrangement. Anyhow – done my rant. I am calling him this afternoon so we will see how it goes :)

    • OCSugarbaby says:

Tazzy, that is wonderful news! In the Sugar realm or IRL men are men. Some things are the same.
As far as rules and the DO’s and Dont’s of Sugar dating…
I have spent 2009 breaking all the rules and it has been FABULOUS!
Consider the luck passed on to you :)

  394. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Morning everyone.

I just sent an email to everyone that is confirmed or tentative to join us on Jan 12th in Chicago. We still have room so if you would like to have dinner with us

PS: Anna Molly can’t go but is still helping coordinate. AM you are the best!

  395. Hi James! Nice to see you :)

Maybe if we keep chanting boobies, boobies….NC will come out of hiding…lol.

  396. james.m says:

    Thanks BDBSB

  397. Hi OC – so glad to hear you sugar partner (is that ok to say lol??) is getting back to health :)

SweetRed: still wondering why I called you our house mother?

  400. Thanks OC, you’re a sweetie too :)

  401. Good Day Everyone!! Happy New Years!!! :)

IRLSD – marriage CAN be like that. Just have to find the right one 😉 I believe marriage does not last that way b/c of the pressure society puts on you to conform to its ideals. Those ideals often become expectations of a partner (or both), and not the ‘reason’ you got married in the first place…

        ~OC’s 2009 Sugar Re-cap (or should I say in retrospect)…
Just a little over a year ago I found this lovely treasure called the Sugar Daddy Blog (and SA).
I had met someone IRL that offered me all things sugary. Yet I had my hessitation and concerns about this type of dating. Thanks to the web I googled Sugar Daddy and found some very lovely people who I got to know and love. They showed me that this person was not the right one for me and I joined SA that same day. Thank You to the original Sugar Crew! We may have our moments of frustration but in the end isn’t that what people do that care for one another!
I have big plans for 2010 but I will leave 2009 with a ton of special sugar memories!

  407. Hi Cleo! Are you ready for the new year?

As far as being sick, I would let your SD know that you’re sick so he can decide whether or not he wants to be around you. I went on a date with a pot one time and I informed him I was sick….still didn’t stop him from trying to kiss me…..lol.

Where in the world is everybody this morning? Are they hung over? Did they start NYE celebrations early? How come my sister and I weren’t invited? :(

  408. cleo says:

Gemi/Midwest: i don’t agree, tell him you’re sick and give him the choice of seeing you or not. never be contagious around someone without warning them

Hope everyone has a great news years eve!!

    Good day bloggerinos!

What’s all this talk of a Chi-town meet? It would be lovely to attend but rather than living in the wrong neck of the woods, I’m in the wrong woods altogether! I hope everything goes well from the planning right down to the afterparty hook-ups (don’t spare us any juicy details ;-))!

So new years resolutions anyone, sugar-related or otherwise? Personally, I’m going to try to perfect a skill rather than take up a new one. I’m always fond of trying new things and have become a bit of a jack of all trades but master of none. Yet to decide which one to do (I have a few unfinished projects!).

So “sugar search ’09” is rapidly drawing to a close. For those in arrangements, I hope they continue to get better and for those not yet in an arrangement, I wish you the best start to the search in 2010 – ALWAYS keep positive! I also got what I think will be my last mail of ’09 from a very wealthy potential offering a superb allowance. He seems nice but sadly he is so far away! I’m a little unsure how this one will come to fruition but I will feel it out nonetheless – wish me luck :-)

I hope you guys have some great NYE celebrations in tow. Enjoy yourselves and party hard and see you in 2010!

    —————————————————————————–

    Mandy:
LOL……….who knows. The way I see it is that if these girls had SDs…then they wouldn’t be on the site looking. So obviously so far no SDs have fallen for their pics/personality enough to shell out 20K/month!

    AussieSB:
I’m assuming you’re looking for a montly allowance right? When pot SDs ask me that, I will tell them what my range is….it’s that simple. With some pots, I will ask them what their “budget” is. But this is no different than bringing up the topic of safe sex with a pot SD…..it’s awkard but necessary. Having the allowance range in your profile (as opposed to choosing the “open” option) also helps.

  423. Mandy(SB) says:

Boston Honey: Yeah.. I’d say the majority of Vancouver are dreading the Olympics. Only a portion is Whistler. Our city was NOT prepared for them!! But otherwise, yes, beautiful city 😛

Amanda: haha it’s ok, my fault, ya snooze ya lose!

cleo: Ya! I had the idea of some of the SD’s “sponsoring” it essentially (since I don’t have that kind of money!). But think about how fun it would be… a group of good looking girls with successful guys, having a blast stumbling around a city where we can get crazy… away from people we know.. Running around the hotel from room to room, just being silly all night… sleeping in, maybe a spa treatment or swim, shop for a new outfit and party all night! sounds great! hahaha.. that was kind of what i thought you guys meant when I first read it, but I was wrong I suppose 😛

Midwest Mistress: Thanks for the suggestion! I didn’t know I could do that :)

  424. LASB says:

    Hello Sugars!
We are so close to 2010, isn’t it amazing? Time sure flies! I’ve decided to stay in for New Year’s eve, so I can be somewhat coherent for the Rose Parade. I was supposed to go with my friend’s GF, but he just informed me that they just broke up, so I guess I have an extra seat for my coat. :( Any Angelenos want to sit VIP with me?
On the sugar front, 2 of the poof daddies magically reappeared today. One dates back from Dec 13. Claims to have left the country. Maybe it’s just tough to sort things out in the month of December. Anyhow, I’m looking forward to the energy that seems to always ride in with the new year.

  425. aussie SB #423494 says:

I get a lot of SD asking what arrangment im after $ wise what’s the best way of negotiating this I always feel awkward at this point

  426. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

UncommonSB: You do, but keep your head up you never know:)

Aussie SB: I agree, but don’t hesitate to seek assistance from your fellow bloggers :) being yourself is definitely a plus and just let that come through in your profile.

  427. aussie SB #423494 says:

Mcm- I have to work on mine I think *scary* maybe put up things im interested in and hopefully they will be as well. But its hard because every good SB will want to bring new and exciting things that maybe the SD has never tried before.

  428. 2Chic says:

    Hi UCm SB!

  429. 2Chic says:

    Who has Skype?

  430. 2Chic~ join us!!! lol, we will have a little fun

  431. UncommonSB says:

MCM: Thanks. Not expecting too much. Seems like you have to go through a few frogs to find a prince. There’s no way I could be so lucky right out of the gates after all I’ve read of trial and error on the blog, but I’m keeping an open mind.

    Hi 2Chic! Hi NYGent!

  432. 2Chic says:

Beach…. I am pretty good, all smiles today! Thanks

MCM, hi, today was pretty nice for a change. It is cold again, but no rain which is good for me. Still wet out though.

So there is a Blog NwYr Eve Party …. hmmm interesting. As much as I want to go out, it would be cheaper to stay in and laugh away the night on the blog. I am favoring staying in….lol.

  433. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Beach: I bet you are busy! Especially this time of year :)

2Chic: Hi! It was has been cold and rainy this evening in my neck of the woods.

  434. MCM~ i’m good, working hard, can’t wait for tomorrow 3 pm!!!

    NYGent~ hi

    2Chic~ how is my girl?

  435. NYGent says:

just getting around to answering these (apologies if re-post, having technical difficulties):

How was your sugarlife in 2009?

Hit and miss. All were learning experiences, and fun while they lasted

Will you be looking for sugar in 2010?

    Probably.

Has what you seek in the Sugarbowl changed in the last year? If so, how?

I am more discriminating, partly based on good advice received on the blog. Trying to avoid people seeking to drain me financially as early and quickly as they can. A shortsighted approach on their part but so be it. Thanks to the blog I’ve learned out that not all SBs are that way, just hoping i can find one of the better ones in 010. And i’ve made a lot of great new friends here.

  436. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

UncommonSB: Catching up on the blog and read your pot SD is going to be in your city; that’s a positive change! I hope everything works out for you:)

  437. 2Chic says:

    Good Evening Sugas!

Hope every one is staying warm and dry.

  438. UncommonSB says:

    Hola MCM!

  439. UncommonSB says:

My typos drive me crazy, meant “mushy” of course.

  440. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    UncommonSB: Hi :)

  441. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Beach: I am doing well! Busy at work, but being a night owl since I am off tomorrow. How are you?

BlackDressBeautySB: Welcome:) I hope you meet a fabulous SD in 2010.

  442. UncommonSB says:

IRLSD: You got kinda muchy for a sec. How sweet! As far as why a painfully strong love can’t exist in marriage… I have no idea, but ideally it should. I’ve never been married, because I have yet to find that type of love. I guess that’s me being naive, but thankfully I’ve never had to feel obligated with kids or other pressures either.

  443. BlackDressBeautySB says:

I am a first time poster, hoping that this element will bring me other opportunities to meet wonderful daddies outside of Denver. Though i have not posted in this forum before, I am not a newbie in the world of financial arrangements. I love it here and hope to find my ultimate Daddy soon.

How was your sugarlife in 2009?

Up and down. I recently ended my relationship with my Daddy because his life was just too filled with Drama and he started to seep that heavily into our life together. The back and forth was much too trying on my emotions.

Will you be looking for sugar in 2010?

Absolutely, however I am picky. I seek the exceptional so that I may be exceptional for him.

Has what you seek in the Sugarbowl changed in the last year? If so, how?

A little, but not much. I am seeking someone to take care of me and in trade I will take care of them. It is a basic formula that has not changed over time. i find that i have changed in the sense that I am willing to make a long distance arrangement work by being on the plane each week like clockwork and spending that quality time with my Daddy. I think at the end of the day, I seek reliability and that has been the ultimate foundation of all my workable arrangements.

  444. MCM~ hey girl… how are you?

  445. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    IRLSD: Thanks

Beach: Hi! I missed you last night :(

  446. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

aussie SB: Hi and thank you :) I do as well… for me, that is the most difficult section to write in a profile. SDs have mentioned being drained by SBs from a monetary standpoint. This makes me wonder if mentioning an allowance at all would scare them away (due to past experience) and is best served in an email. Maybe the SB should focus on interests in the profile giving the SD an opportunity to see if there might be chemistry which in turn would start an email of interest?…thinking outloud SCARY :)

  447. IRLSD says:

MCM, you don’t need too much specific detail. I just look at the pictures and make sure there is nothing crazy in the profile.

  448. JSO~ you got mail….

    Hi everyone!

  449. IRLSD says:

Now I remember the downside of an overly emotional sugar relationship. Love hurts :(

Not that anything is going bad, but it’s in the nature of love that it gives the biggest rush yet the worst pain. I think I had forgotten that when I fell in love with my first IRL SB, I felt like I wanted to die every time I had to leave her to go home, yet the love felt so good that I still want that feeling back. Why can’t marriages be filled with such love?

Conversely, I can see why many SBs I’ve met prefer a simple sex-for-money deal (as long as they like the guy somewhat) because it is just more straight-forward that way.

  450. aussie SB #423494 says:

Musiccity mistress- as im new as well I think your question is excellent I look forward to the comments think it should be interesting :)

  451. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    MMD: Good Night :)

JSO_TXSD: Thanks:) I was curious because I had noticed many SDs discuss in their profile things they enjoy doing while some SBs profiles focus on the ‘arrangement’ itself; it made me wonder if that was more of a turnoff.

  452. JSO - TXSD says:

midwest – that he wants a booty call at 1:00 am…lol
    just kidding

  453. Botched sentence w/out liquor – “is this telling of what he thinks about me?”

  454. JSO - TXSD says:

mcm – I like to know what her likes are. also do not say you have been there and done that if you are 23 and a waitress. yes i like to know what she is looking for. i also like to know if it is just about her or if i count. if it starts out all about her and ends that way i move on.

  455. This sugar is tired! Goodnight to all! Sugar dreams!

I will be serving Grey Goose martinis at tomorrow’s blog NYE party…any requests? Don’t worry about running out as my neighbor brought me the liter bottle…what does that sais this telling of what he thinks about me??? :-)

  456. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Lara: Hi ! I hope that 2010 brings you the same:)

MMD: When Harry Met Sally is one of my favorite movies! What’s with your neighbor and her over sized vibrator?? (JK)

ESB: Negative attitudes are like a plague; avoid them!

MoonPatrol: You are far from being drama :) Everyone has been in your situation before. I think MMD gave great advice, no need for me to reiterate.

  457. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

MoonPatrol any way to do it it is fast and clean. You can’t let anyone bring you down. If your not happy then it’s not worth the trouble. Time to move on and up :)

  458. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

ughhhh just spent the last few hours being referee to my brother and sister. Why do they get me involved?? Did get them on the same page but I am beat. They drain me. They call me the negotiator lol. My ear hurts from being on the phone with them for hours!

I need some fun, or sleep lol

  459. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Okay, I am re-posting my question from last night….

I have a question for the SDs: When viewing profiles, how specific do you want a pot SB to be in her profile describing what type of arrangement she would like to have? i.e….do you prefer a more detailed description via email or would you prefer everything to be upfront in the profile?

Welcome to all the new SBs and SDs!

  460. lara says:

    Hi everybody,

My sugar 09 was a timid try to escape the crazy routine I had in my life for too long. It was an impulse after I gave away my hart just to be broken(I did not know that at the moment but there is no take without giving at least in my world) decided not to make that mistake again.

I wish all of you an amazing 2010, health, happiness and harmony within yourself and the world…

  461. Dr. Ruth?! Ewwwww!…..LOL

  462. JSO - TXSD says:

I would bang the hell out of dr. ruth. would make her write a new book. would start of course in the walmart parking lot

  463. MoonPatrol says:

Dr. Ruth : I would only be interested in her wisdom thats what I mean.
    Jeez . . ..

  464. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    Hi Sweet Sugars!

Okay, I am trying to catch up…back in a few:)

  465. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I don’t know that might be a nice talent to show a potential sd, lol

  466. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I think I see your knee hanging out of your mouth, lol

  467. James and SDN were looking for a sugar mommy…we should call her!

  468. Lisa and Gail – Of course Lisa is a very special sb, however she is spoken for! There are one (or more) sbs in TX that are currently available and they are ALL special. (Is my foot completely in my mouth or just the toes??)

  469. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Dr Ruth could be sugarmommy

  470. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Good evening Gail :)

2009 has been the greatest year ever (i’m starting to sound like spongebob square pants, lol) . 2008 sucked, so let’s hope 2010 is great.

  471. Gail says:

Midwest Mistress of the Dark says:
    December 30, 2009 at 6:19 pm

TX has one very special sb that I know of

Yes I agree MMD…Lisa is a very special SB : ) We all love her…she is one darling of a SB in Texas !!!!

I definately can relate to your comment about “Inner peace”…aaaaah….its so refreshing to know who you are and to be able to stand proudly in what you believe. 2009 is leaving… time to start a wonderful 2010 : )

  472. TLG – Ride those crutches cowboy! Happy New Year!

ESB – Happy New Year – have a great time…sleep can come later!!!

Lisa – Dr. Ruth has all the great toys and knows how to use them! Eeewww, not a pretty picture.

When Harry Met Sally just played the best scene ever!

  473. ESB says:

MMD, so true. My real friends keep asking why I hang on to these people, why am I loyal to them when they only use me, and are never there when I need them… well, lesson learned, I’m done. Hate to cute them loose, but enough already. I’m starting fresh in 2010. I’ll be free of my marrage, which was VERY toxic, starting a new job (hopefully), and will have an amazing SD to finally spoil the way I’ve always wanted to spoil a man… hope he can handle it! 😉

I need to get to bed, tomorrow is going to be a long day. Gonna kick butt making sales, then drive to a friends house to relax for a day.. or recoup from the hangover I’m going to earn tomorrow night, then drive home Sun.. doesn’t look as fun in writing as I’m sure it’s gonna be!! LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR sugar family!! See you in 2010!! MUAH!! (new years kiss!)

  474. Lisa – some things can be kept at bay or dealt with better…not necessarily eliminated completely.

MP – It’s not in your nature, but saying very bluntly “I am ready to terminate our agreement. I wish you luck in your future relationships” over coffee in a public place during the day. Don’t give in to the tears, pleas or questions. Just say it isn’t working as you had hoped and you are seeking new ventures elsewhere. The simpler, the better.

  475. The Lone Gunman--have Crutches, will Travel says:

    Happy New Year, all!

From the FUTURE!!!! (Still rocking that IDL)

    TLG

  476. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

“Good sex with Dr. Ruth” yikes she’s kinda old

  477. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I threw out the junk food
can’t rid myself of toxic friends because i’m loyal no matter what, I still listen to their same old stories, etc I just don’t hang out with them when they do things I don’t approve of.

Family is kind of toxic but they’re family so I can’t turn my back on them.

I rid myself of my bad finances but they keep coming back threatening me

  478. MoonPatrol says:

Anyone know how to break ties with a woman ?
As for the blogs title. 2009 has brought me nothing but pain in the sugar baby world. If I had bought a Harley and wrecked it, it would be a different kind of pain though. Money spent for my street education! I haven’t had “good sex with Dr. Ruth” since … I can’t recall. I feel in my heart I got to break ties with my SB but how and how do you do it when shes already expecting you.
I know I’m drama right now and I hope in my future to only be watching it on a stage at the theater.

  479. ESB – it is a breath of fresh air when you clean up the toxicity in your life. This includes friends, finances, habits, house clutter, etc. I did this after a bank layoff and it literally changed everything…I’m so much happier. I hope you get the same “inner peace”.

  480. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

Very true I just wish I had more free time with my job. I usually have 3 days off every week but never together. There are days I can’t ever have off too.

  481. ESB says:

I’m all packed for my weekend. Now to actually DRIVE 7 hours and get to the party on time THEN stay awake for it!! Going to be one long day!!

Moon Patrol: I came with in a breath of coming to San Antonio for the weekend, but couldn’t get a flight for tomrrow, they were all booked, unless I wanted to arrive at 10 PM!! I’ll just wait for another time. My other BFF wanted me there for her New Years Party. That would have been so cool… why do all my BFFs live so far away and the ones who live close by $#!t on me all the time… my New Years Resolution.. to rid my life of Toxic Relationships!! Buh Bye to fake friends!!

  482. MP – You have mail! Side note: Best oysters I’ve ever had were from Corpus Christi! Highly recommended!

Travel can be offset if you use your points, coordinate business trips with sugar dates, etc. It’s not always preferred, but many have made it work. They build anticipation during the in-betweens and have long visits during their dates. Right Lisa???

    Hi Lisa!

  483. Sexy Anna here…..at your service 😉

  484. AM – Is this the sexy Anna??? I’m quite happy Thank you!

  485. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Well thank you :)

  486. MoonPatrol says:

Yes I ‘ve considered going 300miles in all three directions; San antonio Dallas Austin Beaumont. I wouldn’t know the mechanics of an actual connection there or how we would make it work.N II’m not fond of spending for flying but whatever.!

  487. aussie SB #423494 says:

Midwest- thats too funny (the vacuum on the floor boards lol)
And gemi if your sick I hope u get better soon :) day and night codrals do wonders and they work fast to other then that id see a doctor.

  488. MoonPatrol – I’m glad it worked for you and thank you. Good luck! TX has one very special sb that I know of :-) A not-so-long-distance relationship could expand your search greatly. If you have exhausted all your local options, perhaps you will reach out a bit.

    Hi NM!

  489. ESB ~ Yes, I just found out today that I’m a lawyer and Anna is the chef. :)

  490. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

CA Dreamin: Yes dear, I am here, no cold feet. Hope you aren’t going to have to fake anything.

  491. MoonPatrol says:

    Mistress Of the Dark:
Thanks for sending me a profile write up. I used about 80% of it and am amazed at how well you write. I can write too but not much about myself or in a persuasive manner which would be appealing to the reader. I put it on my profile. So now I might get some hits but I bet they are from out of town. I haven’t seen a lot of appealing SB’s on the searches because they either take a poor quality picture or act like complete sex objects.

  492. UncommonSB says:

    MMD: You’ve got mail.

  493. Uncommon – could you please write me at life_is_good_today at live? I have a question I would like to take offline.

  494. ESB – it was less like hmmmm and more like BBBZZZZZZZ!!

  495. CA Dreamin – Here’s to a rockin’ 2010! G’night!

    Uncommon – that sounds WONDERFUL!

  496. ESB says:

Happy New Year CA D!! 2010 is going to be a great one for all of us!!

MMD: hmm.. and where is your mind right now?

  497. UncommonSB says:

    Good evening!

For all who have not tried it, I highly recommend lavender epsom salt baths. I just stepped out of the tub and I feel fantastic now. It leaves such a wonderful, subtle scent on your skin too!

  498. CA Dreamin SB says:

Okay ladies – I have to go…if I don’t get back on line tomorrow, everyone have a very happy new year! And we’ll all wish for the very best, in all areas of our lives, for 2010.

  499. OMG – What’s hilarious is my neighbor must be running her vacuum over hardwood floors, but it sounds like a HUGE vibrator! Oh my!

Gemi asked earlier about being sick for a date. If it’s not contagious, I would say do your best to find the right meds to help curb all the symptoms. He’s been looking forward to your date, so “being the best sb ever” means making sure it’s a great weekend for you both! Otherwise, I”m sure he will be very understanding. Be creative…he goes and you surround him with his favorite things. Send a great dessert that you both love…make the most of it.

  500. ESB says:

As long as I can spend it on my fake vacation I’m so desperatley in need of!!

  501. CA Dreamin SB says:

    Oh Midwest – TOO funny

  502. LOL…he’s at the fake bachelor party!

  503. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN??? Honey??? You there??? Y’all don’t think he got fake cold feet, do you??? LOL

  504. CA Dreamin SB says:

ESB: As long as you don’t mind being paid in SDN’s fake monopoly money! 😉

  505. ESB says:

ohh.. and fake decorations!! I always wanted to be a wedding consultant, can easily do a fake wedding!!

  506. CA Dreamin SB says:

Midwest – I’d never poof on you!!!

Of course you’re all invited to the fake wedding

ESB – thank you – a fake wedding cake would be nice

  507. I can drink lots of fake champagne without the awful headache later!! Oooooh and the dancing!

  508. ESB says:

Oohh.. and I make a fantastice fake wedding cake!!

  509. ESB – Congrats on your sale! See, things are already looking up. Keep the momentum going…it’s contagious!

I want to be invited to the fake wedding!!! We can have a fake reception at the midwest meet!

  510. ESB says:

Exactly!! Still have a few I’m emailing.. not giving up hope yet!

  511. CA Dreamin – Seriously??? Even you wouldn’t poof on me, would ya? :-)

  512. Evening Mandy, BH, Cleo, SDN, Naughty Molly, CA Dreamin, MCM and all others!

Mandy – Welcome! Another possible suggestion is to hide your profile until you are truly ready for a few dates. This allows you to reveal yourself to those who interest you. Let those sds know your still testing waters, but they caught your eye…should b a bit of an ego boost for them. :-) There are a few other bloggers from Canada, so you can seek advice about particular profiles from them off the blog. Hope it helps!

Uncommon – That’s perfect! That is a sure sign of a gentleman. Hope the meeting goes well!

  513. ESB says:

Good Evening Sugar Family!! I’m back. Made a sale today, I’m on a roll!! Almost had another one, but there were to many unanswered questions, and I’d hate to mess up her health care. Unforgivable… and why I’m not the top seller in the office, *I* have a conscience.

So Naughty Molly is a lawyer now!! Whoot! lawyer by day, resteraunt owner by night, what do you do while you sleep? Never mind, I don’t need to know.. 😉

Mandy: The weirder, the better, you’ll fit right in!! Welcome!!

I had another “poof” daddy… wanted to know if I liked kinky sex, but didn’t want to give ME any details… I’ll answer that Q on a 3rd date if all goes well, maybe 2nd. So not gonna discuss my sex life with a total stranger!!

  514. CA Dreamin SB says:

How nice Aussie! Happy New Year to you too and I hope the new year brings you, and all the SB’s and SD’s on the blog wonderful things.

  515. aussie SB #423494 says:

Good morning (from aus) and good afternoon to all those on the other side of the world happy new year to you all and I hope this new year brings a lot of sugar and excitment to each and everyone.

  516. Amanda says:

Hi, Mandy! Sorry for taking your name!

  517. cleo says:

Mandy’s right, we should make a weekend somewhere and have an ‘unconference’ sugar meet ;>

  518. Boston Honey says:

Welcome to the blog Mandy! I love Vancouver! What a gorgeous city and you have 2010 Olympics at Whistler this year…. You will be able to sort them out quickly.

Dreamy Princess-Sounds lovely! Congrats to both of you.

You all had a meet in NY and I was taking an exam…. I am so jealous…. 😉

  519. Mandy(SB) says:

Haha a Tues in Chicago… definitely not possible for me right now. (in Vancouver, BC). I read something about a Texas one somewhere before. I think it’d be great fun to make a crazy weekend out of it!

Thank you for extending the invite though! :)

  520. CA Dreamin SB says:

Come on SDN…you know you’d love it if Naughty Molly got rough with you 😉

And it was your choice – you claimed NY Gent for your lawyer – only fair I got to choose mine…be nice and you never know what you might get! 😉

I am definitely making it to one of these meets one of these days!

  521. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Now Naughty Molly is an other story!

Mandy: You are invited! All bloggers are invited, even lurkers. We are going to have dinner and drinks in Chicago on Jan 12th at a nice restaurant and probably a bar afterwards. It is a chance for the blog community to get together face to face. There is also one being scheduled for the west coast – email info is list earlier in this blog topic.

If you are interested in the details send an email to midwestmeet yahoo.

  522. I went to the NYC meet on Dec. 8th. It was a lovely evening with food, drink and amazing company….lots of fun :)

  523. Mandy(SB) says:

So, what are these “meets” all about? I have a very clear, fun image in my head, but in case I’m way off base I’d like to know. For the record 😛
I’m not inviting myself, don’t worry!

  524. Mandy(SB) says:

That’s a fair point SDN, thank you :) and MCM, thanks!

Uncommon, I knew what you meant :p

  525. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Mandy: If you are a weirdo you will fit better on the blog **ducking for cover **.

I like what you just said and maybe you could put this as part of your profile. “I am intrigued by what an arrangement has to offer both of us but new to the idea.” Something like that might let SDs know you are interested but still a little tepid on moving forward. Please feel free to post ask us anything (that won’t get censored). We are glad you are here.

CA Dreamin: I am trying to forget “Litigator Molly”, she gets rough – and not in a good way :)

  526. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Mandy: Hi :) The headline isn’t bad, but I suggest using something more catchy/classic while browsing profiles to see if this is something you are interested in doing. It might send the wrong message to a great pot SD.

  527. UncommonSB says:

Sorry for the typo, ‘informative’ was what I meant.

  528. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – don’t forget Naughty Molly!

  529. Mandy(SB) says:

Argh. Or am I A weirdo… Silly iPhone, please ignore all my future typos!

  530. Mandy(SB) says:

Thanks Uncommon! I agree with everyone being friendly and helpful, so lovely. I’m not sure exactly what I’m looking for yet, but this forum is helping me to give shape to whatever it is :)

  531. Mandy says:

Thanks you two! I wanted to just be Amanda, but that was recently taken :p

SDN, looking because I’m intrigued but not quite ready to take the plunge. Does that make sense, or am I weirdo?

  532. UncommonSB says:

Mandy: Welcome! I’m pretty new too and still haven’t met with anyone yet, although it looks like that might change over the next couple of weeks. Everyone on the blog has been incredibly information and helpful in so many ways. If I were you I might change your headline to state who you are or what you’re looking for. Others may have much better advice though.

In my limited experience, the creeps exponentially outnumber the genuinely nice and respectful SDs. Be prepared. I wasn’t.

The ‘concept’ is beyond interesting, but the ‘reality’ is a bit of a challenge. Everyone has to sort through the trash (on both sides) to find someone compatible.

    Good luck to you!

  533. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

Curious – what is everyone’s SWEETEST definition of a sugar arrangement? SD’s and SB’s???

Just lurking here today everyone – and you can all start a party up again 😉 More practice for tomorrow?? 😀

  534. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Mandy: Welcome. I don’t know what you are trying to convey with “just looking around”. I find the statement ambiguous, not bad just isn’t very clear what you want.

CA Dreamin: Between you and Gemini what SD could keep his thoughts straight!

  535. UncommonSB says:

Gem: Yep, plenty of charmers out there!

CA Dreamin: Thanks. Baby steps. Still proceeding with caution.

  536. CA Dreamin SB says:

    You’re slipping SDN…

  537. Mandy says:

    Hi!
New to the forum, been creeping for a couple days. You guys are so fast on here!
I registered on this site awhile ago, but only put that I’m “just looking around” in my profile, so no one gets misled. Is that appropriate? Thinking a bit more seriously about being a SB now, mostly due to this “forum” (discussion board). Pretty wary of the creepers though. You all seem so nice! It’s such an interesting concept.

  538. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

ROFL…damn I should have got that one!

  539. Gemini29 says:

SDN : Only if he wants to do it in the parking lot of Walmart. 😉

  540. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Gemini29: My guess is you said…I was hoping for twice a week. just kidding!

  541. CA Dreamin SB says:

    Uncommon – That’s great! Hopefully he’s a great one!

  542. Gemini29 says:

Oh…hahahah. Classic “classy” email and profile. The introductory email: “Interested?” His profile: “I’m not into dating, just sexual encounters, like once a week.”

Can anyone guess my response? Cookie to the one who gets it right!!

  543. Gemini29 says:

Afternoon sugar fam. I think this is the one time I’m glad I don’t have an active SD…’cause I’m sick! No way no how would I want a SD to see me now…

Which brought up a thought….most sugar dates/weekends are highly planned out days..due to SD/SB’s busy schedule… so how do you all handle it if one person gets sick?

  544. UncommonSB says:

Hmn. Just got another email from the sd who offered to fly me to his city or meet in the middle. I let him know yesterday that I had to really think about where I would feel most comfortable. Problem solved, looks like he’s now planning to be in my city in a couple weeks for an auto auction. Whew! Makes it so much easier and less stressful.

  545. Boston Honey says:

I think some men actually think we like it… IRL I had a guy I knew well text me like that until I informed him I thought it was disgusting, not a turn on and that I don’t like being talked/emailed/texted to like that… Voilà, problem solved….no more dumb comments ever again and we still talk too…

  546. Boston Honey says:

MCM-ditto must have been the same SD as I received the same mail too! Oh so sexy… The pic I loved “NOT” was the guy on a ladder with a toolbelt strapped around him and everything on this cave man (Think Geico) hanging out…..Ewwwwewww.

IRLSD-Thank-you for sharing! Your last two posts really showed a more emotional and softer side to you. Best of luck! She better nail those GRE’s and/or GMAT’s…. :-)

  547. UncommonSB says:

Desert: I can handle awkward. Sometimes awkward can be cute when a guy gets a little nervous or tongue-tied and says the wrong thing! Depends on the guy.

  548. Uncommon ~ You are absolutely right! I would prefer to know if someone is a jerk right off the bat too.

  549. UncommonSB says:

AM: I think I prefer that they don’t get advice! I’d rather know upfront that someone has ‘that’ type of mentality without wasting my time. I’d venture to say there are a few who have killer profiles, sounding all sweet and charming, only to have them say “Cum play with me” right after they buy you dinner on a first date!

  550. DesertBunny says:

    Maybe he is just akward.

That poses a question. I wonder how many SD’s on SA are highly intelligent, but lack social graces, and therefor present themselves in a misleading fashion. Maybe not this SD inparticular, but many others. I am guessing that there are many whom just don’t ‘get it’, but are kind men.

  551. I think some of these guys need profile advice….lol

  552. UncommonSB says:

    MCM: Nice!

  553. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Uncommon SB: LOL….I received an email one time that read: Hey, wanna cum play with me?

  554. UncommonSB says:

Desert: You’ve got mail. Yeah, I bet that guy is just reeling them in every time! Who could resist a line like that?!

  555. DesertBunny says:

But if that works for him… I shouldn’t judge 😉

  556. DesertBunny says:

UncommonSB- Hello :) I think I saw you looking for info on the SoCal meet…. if so… socalsoiree @ google

By the way, what’s wrong with, ‘Sugar… Cum to Daddy’?! Ummm… yeah!

  557. UncommonSB says:

    Good afternoon sugars!

Just poppin in for a minute. My new pics have definitely generated more ‘activity’ over the past couple of days, but sadly it’s the same nonsense – just more of it. The latest email was from an ‘sd’ whose profile heading reads “Sugar… Cum to Daddy”. How romantic! Uh, next.

TempSD: Like pretty much everyone else here, I say RUN. Major red flags. I can only imagine what kind of broken person she must be to request a fake engagement to an SD? This means there is definitely more trouble and drama to follow.

  558. DesertBunny says:

Me either. I probably didn’t even get the lyric’s right!

  559. CA Dreamin SB says:

DB – LOL you are too funny! I hadn’t thought of that in years

  560. ESB says:

OMG, you all are CRAZY! Guess that is why I keep coming back!!

AM: when it comes to food, I am easily pleased, as long as it is not greasy or full of preservatives. Kind of a health nut here. I have no doubt you will please everyone that attends and will have rave reviews! (From us at least 😉 )

Temp: WOW!! That takes some guts to even suggest! Listen to the advice here. You can find someone who isn’t so greedy, just as pretty and charming and what ever else you are looking for. Do NOT settle for less than you deserve!!

OK, I’ve got some work to do, will catch up again later… shew… I need a vacation!!

  561. DesertBunny says:

SDN and CA D sittin in a tree

    K- I- S- S- I- N- G!

    First comes love!

    Next comes marriage!

Then comes baby in the baby carriage!

(I have no idea where that just came from!)

  562. It depends on how cooperative SDN will be when the time comes….Naughty might have to get a little rough

  563. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

So we are bringing a naughty girl home with us…I like the way you think.

  564. CA Dreamin ~ That’s fine with me :)

  565. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – Ah, yes, a foot rub would be nice.

Anna Molly? Are you there? Or are you bringing out Naughty Molly to negotiate for me?

  566. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Why do I feel like I am about to get the short end of this deal. Need a foot rub sweeeetttyyyy?

  567. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN, while I trust you are looking out for my best interests, I have retained AM as my representation.

That’s okay with you AM – isn’t it?

  568. DreamyPrincess says:

Been quite a while since I commented. Hope everyones sugar life is going well!!

How was your sugarlife in 2009?
My sugar life started in 2009. And as it happened I met a SD this fall and he is as good as it gets! Have been on lots of vacations and taken lots of shopping trips too. It looks like my SD/SB arrangement has turned into a lot more than just that, and into a relationship.

Will you be looking for sugar in 2010?
Probably not. I have plenty of sugar now!

Has what you seek in the Sugarbowl changed in the last year? If so, how?
Yes. I thought I was looking just for a sugar relationship, and then when I met a lovely man it was turned upside down into having an actual relationship.

To all those babies out there, if you dont already have the sugar you seek, keep your head up, stay beautiful and confident and it WILL happen for you!

I have had nothing but great experiences here, and should I be seeking sugar in the future, I will be back. I know I am a great catch. Come from a good family. Masters degree. Young. Beautiful. Charming. Classy. Genuine. So if you have some or all those qualities, I am SURE you can find a great arrangement that will suit you and your needs.

  569. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Children and alimony???? We haven’t even got to the Starbucks yet!

    AM: You are not helping!

  570. What about the fake alimony?

  571. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN I trust you completely! Make sure our contract includes some additional fake child support for our fake children!

  572. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

CA Dreamin: You can trust me baby…I will look out for your best interests. You don’t need a lawyer.

  573. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – That is SO not fair!!! But that’s okay – I’ll just make you pay for my fake lawyer!!! I know, being the gentleman you are, you’re generous enough to let that come out of my allowance too! You’re the best!

  574. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

AM: Those are libelous statements about me and JSO. I am totally offended…you ever drive a get away car?

I have this vision in my head of NYGent sitting in his office trying to figure out the wording for the contract for mine and CA Dreamin’s fake marriage. NYGent it was my idea so you are representing my interests here.

  575. Hey Taz! I don’t know what time it starts….I don’t think we have a set time yet :)

  576. Ohhh and what time does the part start tomorrow night??? 😀

  577. SDN ~ Are you also offering a get out of jail free card since you and JSO are obviously planning something illegal?

  578. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN!!! Wow, that’s the best offer any girl has ever had! I know all the other blog SB’s are envious! See you at starbucks 😉 LOL

  579. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

    Tru I am in Florida

Monopoly money and rings? have you Sd’s lost your minds lmao.

Lmao I will love to see what a contract from NyGent would look like too lmao that would be too funny!

Ok back to work for me. Only have to work till noon tomorrow yay!

  580. TT (AKA Tantalizing Taz) says:

Hello everyone! Been MIA – so much to catch up on and thus far great blog..although I doubt I will comment on any of it since there is so much lol..

    Be here lurking…:)

  581. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

CA Dreamin: If you find the pictures impressive and pretty I expect you at the nearest Starbucks sans panties within the hour. You can pick your ring out of the claw vending machine across the street…cost of the game comes from your allowance!

JSO-TXSD: Walmart is yours, I get Costco, I think he is stuck at the Dollar General. Got the email. You are right I am not sure if that is legal. ** got the rest of you wondering don’t we **

  582. JSO- TXSD says:

I think temp sd needs to take her to a wlamart parking lot.

  583. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – only if the pics are ‘pretty’ as well!

  584. LASB says:

Hi sugars! Hope everyone is having a great morning. Hey, SBs, he called us “lunch meats!” Maybe the ones he’s meeting are full of bologna. 😉 Anyhow, Temp, you’ve gotten some good advice there, so I hope you listen to it. Plus, the number one rule is follow your gut. You yourself said the whole thing was nuts. Take your power back.

  585. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

cleo: We will get NYGent to write up a contract. Can’t wait to see how he would word this!

  586. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

CA Dreamin: So I have you interested in my offer…I have some “impressive” pictures I can send you to seal the deal.

  587. cleo says:

sdn: with a contract though? or just trust?

  588. CA Dreamin SB says:

SDN – Does that mean you’ll pay for the fake wedding, fake reception and fake honeymoon too? :)

  589. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

I think all of you are nuts!!!!

An arrangement where I give a fake ring and monopoly money to an SB sounds just fine to me.

  590. TXSB says:

    CA Dremin:
LOL….I don’t think anyone’s going to “attack” you for your views. I agree with everything you wrote. I’m still laughing at the mere idea of an “engagement” with a SD!
    ————————————————————-

    Cleo:
    Good point on the contract.

  591. CA Dreamin SB says:

Temp SD – one more thought – The idea that this girl wants to ‘pretend’ to be your fiance screams WHACK JOB to me. She’s nuts. I would never insert myself into my SD’s real life. It’s his choice if he ever wants me around any of his real-life friends or contacts. Real ring, fake ring, doesn’t matter – my head spins at the bizarre nature of this request. And if this SB is lurking on the blog – good – honey, go get some medication.

Now everyone may attack me for my views :)

  592. CA Dreamin SB says:

Temp SD – Not that I need to add to this – but everyone is right – RUN!!! Do not buy the ring, delete this girl from your contact list and move on!

IRLSD – I’m so glad everything went so well! Really happy for you

  593. cleo says:

    lol anna molly, good answer

    *waves hand in air*
    look over here!

  594. cleo says:

temporary sd methinks txsb has the right of it but i would add that you need to write down somewhere that it’s a fake engagement and have her sign it or she might sue you for breach of contract later.
    .
it really bums me out that i can’t afford a meet that was half my idea…

  595. TXSB says:

    TemporarySD:
OK I just realized that she also expects YOUR family/friends to know about her too! LOL! Sorry but I just can’t believe you didn’t drop her asap. Please remember that as a SD, you have the upper hand in negotiating arrangements. There are a lot more SBs than SDs out there…..it’s much easier for you to find another SB, but much harder for her to find another SD. With this SB or any other….if they try to give you such retarded conditions, please walk away.

  596. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Temp SD: Hi:). I would strongly advise you to steer clear of this SB. This has a bad hidden agenda written all over it and could leave you in a situation that could be difficult for you to get out of. Don’t waste time contemplating this propositon. As for gifts, I had a date with a pot SD and he presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers:) The dates that followed he gave me small things i.e. stuffed teddy bear, chocolates….I loved it because those were little things I liked. There is nothing wrong with giving a SB a gift(s) in the earlier stages of meeting, but I suggest something simple and hold the extravagant gifts aside until you see the arrangment is progressing in a positive way. I could tell the pot SD was testing me to see if I was superficial. See how the SB reacts with a simple gift because sincerity and genuine appreciation cannot be faked indefinitely.

  597. Temporary SD says:

I was thinking about the fake ring idea. The thing is I am separated and she is going to be around my home and family a lot. I can’t get engaged!

    LOL!

OK. I’m headed out two two SA “lunch” meats…prey for me. :)

  598. Temporary SD ~ If you’re want a true SB then the blog has a plethora of beautiful, funny, interesting and did I say beautiful SB’s :)

  599. TXSB says:

    Temporary SD:
Firstly, I’m literally laughing b/c the idea of being “engaged” to a SD as a cover is so ridiculous! Why the heck do you even need to meet her friends or family? Is this SB not an adult with her own life? I agree with others that you should find another SB….this one sounds like she’ll be full of drama.

*BUT*….if you still want to get with her…who said the ring has to be expensive or even a real diamond? If she knows the “engagement” is fake…then there’s no reason why she shouldn’t be ok with a CZ ring…..u can buy one at WalMart. She’s willing to lie to her family/friends about being engaged…..then she should have no problem lying to them about the ring being a real diamond. :)

  600. JSO- TXSD says:

temp sd – One more thing. That reminds me of stripper 101 class. not trying to be mean but the girl is a dumb hustler. Good luck to you and move on and find a real SB. The real ones are out there. Just keep the faith.

  601. JSO- TXSD says:

temp sd. Run away, run away. you are getting ready to get coned big time. is she not allowed to date without being engaged? and if that was true her family has some really big issues. the ring is just to get more money out of you fast. You are being husled.

  602. Boston Honey says:

Temporary SD – If it sounds fishy it is! Run, Run, Run as fast as you can!! I think your dead on, It is nuts! Don’t be a fool and trust your gut feeling.

I have heard of wacky things like this happening IRL. For example, the Navy Seal in Hawaii who wasn’t married and didn’t get as many benefits as the others who were married. He thought that if he had a “wife” he could live in a swanky place…and he did just that….then met his future wife and whoaa’ what a mess…. Nevertheless, he is now with wife number two, happily married now and having a ball!

    Just my 2 cents…

    XO,
    BH

  603. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Temporary SD: Let me get this straight, she claims it is easier for her to explain being engaged to a guy she has never introduced to her family or friends, let alone mentioned than saying you are her BF? Ummmm …give her a ring… NO.

  604. Temporary SD ~ I have never heard of such a thing. Why would she need a ring? Can’t she keep secrets? I would be very careful IMO because it sounds like a trap to me….sorry to be so blunt, but the fact that she wants a ring sounds very strange to me. Just my opinion though. I’m sure others will have different views. Good luck!

  605. Temporary SD says:

    Help!

I have an SB that wants to get engaged as a condition for the arrangement! She needs it as a cover for her friends and family! She wants a ring and the allowance (the allowance is OK)

Has anyone in the history of SA (or even MBR) gotten engaged as a condition? The “relationship” can be terminated at will per this girl.

What happens to the ring??? What will I spend??? I have been taken a bit by buying too much early in a relationship that I thought would last and didn’t. Don’t want to buy a RING and see it and her disappear.

What do I tell MY friends and family??? They will meet her in this…

I think engagement is nuts! What about all of you???

  606. ESB ~ I’m going to post the full menu for the event pretty soon. Do you have any special requests?

  607. ESB says:

AM: The menu sounds appetizing. Making me hungry already!!

I just jumped on to say “Good Morning” to those who are here. I have a lazy day planned. Have a few appointments this afternoon, and both look promising. Should bring home some good money today! If all of next month goes as well as the last few days, I’ll be one happy Pot SB! 😉

NYE plans are forming. Driving 7 hours to spend the night with my BFF. I know he won’t ditch me, said he may even get me a “hot date” for the night!! lol.. I’m just happy not being home watching the ball drop alone.

  608. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Tru: I have been good. Trying to get through the holidays and get ready for work in 2010. Let me know if things change, love to have you attend!

  609. Tru says:

SDN – If things change I will keep you posted if not the next one for sure :)
    How have you been?

  610. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Midwest Meet

We are having a get together on Jan 12th in Chicago. We have a nice mix of SDs & SBs attending and have plenty of room for any and all. The SDs have all been talking and plan to make this a greet meet!

Ignore my typo about Feb above.

  611. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

Tru: Thanks for catching that, maybe my boss is right and I shouldn’t start drinking at 8 AM. Last email I got said you wouldn’t be in Chicago :(

AM: Sweet. I have actually had people at my house and they thought boxed mac and cheese was making it from scratch. They never thought of putting macaroni and cheese together.

  612. SDN ~ Box mac and cheese! Never!

  613. Tru says:

Hey SDN did you do a typo as you said Feb 12th!!! did you mean to say Jan 12th? Did you get my email?

  614. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Morning Gemini and AM.

Gemini we wish you would attend :(

AM: You need to get that restaurant open ASAP! I love Mac and Cheese, has to be made from scratch with real cheese…no boxes for me.

  615. Gemini ~ I’m hosting one when I open my restaurant :)
We’re going to have Mac and Cheese, Chilli Cheese Fries and all the Mint Juleps you can drink :)

  616. Gemini29 says:

IRL – Seems like you’ve found a good match for yourself….

I’m bummed I’m missing out on the Chicago Meet. Anyone want to have one on the east coast?? I wish I could host one, but I can’t! :(

  617. Well! everyone takes off on me…..again! How rude!……..LOL

  618. Good morning everyone :)

It is super cold here!! I need someone to cuddle with!

Nice to see you Tru :)

  619. SD NEOhio (SDN) says:

    Morning all!

We are having a get together on Feb 12th in Chicago. We have a nice mix of SDs & SBs attending and have plenty of room for any and all. The SDs have all been talking and plan to make this a greet meet!

  620. Tru says:

Hello Aussie SB – I don’t mind the cold but in the uk its not so nice but I love the snow in Canada as I love to snowboard out there.

  621. aussie SB #423494 says:

    hello all
Welcome back tru and sweet red hope its not cold for long I hate the cold personaly :)

  622. Tru says:

Morning all, its feel like such a long time since I was last here!! Nice too see some new people have come out of hiding :)

Sweet Red – Where are for it to be so nice and warm?

Hope everyone had a great xmas

  623. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Morning all. Chicago meet…ughhh burrrrrrrrrr cold!! I don’t even have a winter jacket, it does not get that cold here for long. I got rid of all my winter jackets when I moved south.

Going to be 70 here today, going to warm up for the next day or 2 then get cold again. In the 50’s

  624. aussie SB says:

I have only been on this site a little while so not much experience to comment on 2009, and while I would love a genuine SD there seems to be a lack of them here in australia, so I will continue my search with much hope for 2010. *wish me luck* :)

  625. cleo says:

sdn: hiya. i’m well thanks, not home much these days…
    .
    james.m: hockey route!!!!

  626. TXSB says:

    Photogirl:
    Nope…I don’t believe anyone has.
    ————————————————————————

    LASB:
Cool…I look forward to getting details as the date gets closer. It will be awesome if I can go. :)
    ———————————————————————–

  627. LASB says:

TXSB – I believe it’s going to be on Feb 25th, but Dessert Bunny will confirm as the date gets closer.

  628. photogirl says:

I know I am not hosting or planning this little get together on the 12th, but has anyone given an open invitation to the newer bloggers?

Not sure if they are interested but would hate to have anyone feeling left out.

  629. TXSB says:

    LASB:
I’m planning a overseas trip to visit family in Feb…so the SoCal date depends on the date and also whether or not I have a SD by then. Have you guys chose a date already?
    ————————————————————————

    SweetRedHead:
Sorry about the night mare…Good night!

  630. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

James…House mother? you make me sound old!!

I want some crawdads in my mail box :( and a king cake. I miss new Orleans. Always had so much fun when I visited there.

Every year in February a relative, who is now passed away would send me a king cake each year, no matter where I was.

Ok back to bed. Woke up because I had a night mare, haven’t had one of those in years.

  631. LASB says:

Hi TXSB! Are you going to come to the SoCal meet in Feb?

  632. TXSB says:

    LASB:
Hi! Rose parade sounds like a blast…..no NYE plans here either.

  633. LASB says:

Good evening everyone who is still up!

Just got home and started blog lurking. Looks like I missed another fun party.

IRLSD – Congrats on your first date with Polish SB. Sounds awesome!

Still no plans for NYE. I’m going to go to the Rose Parade, though. VIP tickets were a gift from a non-sugar friend. It starts super early, so I might just stay in and sleep through Dick Clark and friends.

  634. TXSB says:

Hi Beach, 2Chic, JSO, and anyone else who’s on!

    ESB:
    Ditto on the massage!
    ————————————————————–

    MCM:
Good question…I’m curious to hear answers to this. I wrote in my profile that I’m flexible to travel but wonder if more details will help. I know when viewing SDs profiles, I always appreciate reading details on the type of arrangement they’re looking for.

  635. IRLSD says:

To update the curious about Polish girl, it was awesome. I can’t imagine how it could have been better. She is charming, fun, witty, intelligent, level-headed, and need I say absolutely beautiful. Basically, she said that she gets asked out a dozen times a day by various guys, is offered lots of jobs by all sorts of doctors and lawyers and others, and is brought coffee and food and gifts all day by various guys but has never contacted any of them but me (man, can there be an ego boost better than that coming from the hottest girl at the mall?). She seemed to understand the nature of things pretty well. She was relieved when I told her I’m married, because as she put it, it would be less complicated. She understands that my wife can’t know about her and what I am doing for her. And I told her that since my marriage lacks affection and cuddling, I seek it elsewherel. I also told her about my two previous IRL SBs as well as some of the SA SBs. She did ask how I find women who need help online, and I told her I type in “sugar daddy” and I explained to her that a sugar daddy is typically an older, well-established, and wealthy man who supports a younger woman. I even offered her to travel with me and she said she loved to travel. The date lasted some 6 hours 38 minutes, which might be a record for a first date for me. At the end, I gave her a hug and a pretty solid kiss on the right cheek, which made her giggle and blush.

I also alluded many times to the deep emotional connections I had with my previous IRL SBs, and I told her the hardest thing will be not seeing her till Monday. I even told her about my nervousness about the whole thing, including my waking up for three hours in the middle of the night last night kind of scared about how things might turn out. And we both agreed that neither of us could have imagined things turning out better than they did.

It was also nice that where I took her, there was a photo guy who took our pictures and we were both excited to go back and buy our photos. She picked the picture she liked and asked for two copies so we could each have one–crap, one more photo for me to hide.

She will start “work” on Monday. She will come to the office, but her main job will be to study for her GREs and I told her I’m a gruelling mentor so she better be prepared to ace the test and she liked that idea.

I appreciate everyone’s advice thus far. Unlike what has been said, I’ve taken everyone’s views into consideration in approaching her (obviously, I can’t follow every advice as they are often contradictory). Any suggestions as to how to proceed from here will be greatly appreciated.

  640. Too much, how are you JSO?

  641. JSO-TXSD says:

ahhhh. its my favorite girl. how are you tonight beach. cut a lot of hair today.

  642. Hi everyone, It’s so cold here,,,, 18 Below F …. BRRRRRRRRR

    How is everyone?

  643. JSO-TXSD says:

is anybody out there? ****Tap Tap tap on screen****

  644. UncommonSB says:

    Good night!

  645. ESB says:

Well, I’m out. Way past my bedtime. good night everyone, sweeet dreams!!

  646. ESB says:

Uncommon: I used to have one!! Sold it a few years ago. High top conversion. Would seat 7. TV, Video games… was sweet for the drive across 3 states to Grandma’s house with the kids. Oh well.. that is a great idea though… but yea, like 3 days driving… I’d be a bit exhausted by the time we got there.. but oh, the fun we would have on that drive!! 😉

  647. JSO-TXSD says:

just rent a couch and have molly and her sisters be the activity directors(who cares if we get there).lol

  648. ESB – You have mail!

    Goodnight sugars!

  649. JSO-TXSD says:

james – email me(if you dont have it SDN does. the really good crawfish come from my neck of the woods. have a buddy that brokers them. he is able to get the all one size kind instead of the bixed bag crap they sell everywhere.

  650. UncommonSB says:

ESB: A big Econoline type van should fit a few people with luggage and get at least 5mpg more than a hummer. I don’t know though, advance purchase tickets might not be so bad… that is a LONG drive.

  651. ESB says:

MCM: I’ll bring the tissues!! I’m the type to laugh til I cry. The strawberries sound absolutly fab, too. You are a girl after my own heart.. feed me and make me laugh.. Good night hun, I’m not to far behind you.

  652. ESB says:

MMD: if you are still here, you have mail!!

  653. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    UncommonSB: That sounds wonderful!!

ESB: If I were closer we would definitely have fun….Riesling, chocolate covered strawberries and stone massages (both of us would have our very own SD for the stone massages! ) and we could watch romantic comedies to our hearts content!!

Well, I need to slide under the covers it’s getting late.

    Have a great night everyone:)

  654. ESB says:

Uncommon SB: Good point. What else would be big enough for lots of people and all their luggage?

MCM: Still a little POd at my now X sis, but yes, I am great. This is the last time she ditches me for a “better offer”. I would NEVER do that to her, I have no idea why she consistantly does it to me. I’m way to nice for my own good, but am taking the advice of many friends. Get rid of the toxic friends, I can do better. Move on!!

I’d give just about anything (left boob?) for a massage right about now… anyone gonna offer? I mean an SD of course. Sorry girls, would be so much more fun that way 😉

  655. 2Chic says:

oooh, now I am a little giddy the upcoming trip. Thanks UCsb. great tip.

  656. UncommonSB says:

MCM: The massages… well, they lube you up with nice warm oils and then use hot smooth stones to massage you into bliss.

  657. UncommonSB says:

ESB: If you took a Hummer, you’d have to plan the whole trip around gas station stops!

  658. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas: LOL…That is what we call Wal-Mart in my neck of the woods. I am all for a road trip.

ESB: Hi! Are you feeling better?

What’s all this talk about stone massages?? I have never had one before…

I have a question for the SDs: When viewing profiles, how specific do you want a pot SB to be in her profile describing what type of arrangement she would like to have? i.e….do you prefer a more detailed description via email or would you prefer everything to be upfront in the profile?

  659. ESB says:

Thanks james. Just tell me when. I’ll go start packing now.. I hope we are taking a Hummer, we’ll need room for all the luggage!! Just throw it on top!

  660. james.m says:

Oops, MMD’s phone is ringing, I have to go. Night All. Have fun!!

  661. james.m says:

AM — that’s what we love about them!

  662. james.m says:

ESB: we’ll have a northern route for you, a mid atlantic route for DC, and a southern route for the ladies from florida (they have to pick up the crawdaddies in NO). And a hockey route for those from the frozen north.

  663. The good, the bad and the sexy! I LOVE it 😉 Thanks!

My sisters are hard to keep in line sometimes especially the Naughty one 😉

  664. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

I think AM is all three, good, bad, and sexy… And it isn’t the size of the gun it is how you wiggle it… ESB is right…so true…

  665. ESB says:

The drive may not work for me. I’m ON the east coast. Will hve to drive down then across, I so wanna go!!

  666. james.m says:

DDDD – now there’s a new meet! drive across country, picking up SDs and SBs on the way to the NoCal meet in February.

  667. We could have a network pick up the documentary and travel in style. We’ll start with NYC SB and waldorf daddy!

  668. ESB says:

OK, Im caught up!! Shew!! You all are a bunch of FUNNY people!! JSO. Love your sence of humor. sigh… love you sweety!! 😉

James.: 1/2 will play with the gun.. omg, I’m dying here!! The funny thing is THAT IS SO TRUE!!

4D: Wardrobe malfunction? LMAO I wish I was there too,and got to go with you to show off your new outfit. One of my BFF’s asked me to go to Ohio for New Years. I’m so considering it. Better than sitting home alone. I hve to work 1/2 day Thurs, so the drive will kill me. Still thinking…

AA/MA: Riding crop and Whip Cream… am I invited to that party?? 😉

Ohhh.. stone massage, heat massage.. heck, ANY massage, count me in. I’m hurting here!

TLG: Welcome back!! Hope you are off the crutches and off and running again in no time. Good luck Sugar!

  669. james.m says:

AM – which do you want to be: the good, the bad, or the sexy? I’ll take whatever AA and NM leave and be proud of it

  670. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

MCM- That is a date! Wally World? Funny…. I think we need to drive cross country though…we can pick up SB’s along the way and film a documentary…..

  671. Hi FRS SD.

Instant three-somes- the good, the bad and the sexy!

Eric the Viking has the market on the SM search.

  672. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

Midwest: A sugary hello to you!

Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas: LOL…I am so ready for our Wally World date:) I have fuzzy socks to go with the fuzzy handcuffs:)

  673. james.m says:

Hey! where is Stephen. Probably in CA. Can we invite him to the NoCal meet? He’ll have to bring his own snuggie.

Moon Patrol: maybe we should look for SMs??

I love Anna Molly’s schizophrenic sisters; It’s an instant three-some!

  674. Boston Honey says:

James – Ahhh, I am in MA remember…. Impressive A1…. Makes for an interesting evening though…..

  675. VA SB says:

James.m – thanks so much! I’m a little late in seeing your response, but I really appreciate it. I was struggling with that a bit….

    Ciao!

  676. james.m says:

HI everyone. sorry, but I need to catch up.

JSO – I have a friend with that problem (college roomate, actually) and I was best man at his first weeding in 1969 and again this summer. It’s not a problem for his wife, or his last two girlfriends, all of whom are attractive. but, he’s very smart, articulate, and lots of fun. We had dinner last night and he wants me to help him lose weight, because he’s figuring every pound he loses will be an extra yard on his drives, and every ten will be a stroke on his handicap.

SweetRed: that is exactly what you do with crawdaddies. You can get them flown in fresh from NO, you know. I can’t believe that people don’t suck the heads!

Gail: SweetRed is our house mother…

BH — I do NOT recommend that SBs go on first dates fully armed. Half the guys will run away screaming, and the others will want to play with the gun and not the girl…by the way, did I tell you I have a 1928 A1. Now that’s a sweet baby!!

  677. AA / NM – Absolutely!

    4D – Yes!

    I’ll bring the web cam

  678. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

    Midwest—I am strutting around in it now…making a few modifications as I don’t want a wardrobe malfunction…..LOL…..

  679. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

Oh, I think your friend should totally go on the site. I am not opposed to someone a few extra pounds. I actually had someone write to me and his handle, profile, and pictures were very charming. I instantly replied and put him in favorite….. His charisma definitely came shining through and I love his sense of humor…so it is all in the confidence and how you market yourself…..IMO

Alluring Anna and MCM are you all ready for our date at Walmart… Yes, I think that should be the meeting place for all of us……LOL
Absolutely, Nutella, pink fuzzy handcuffs too, and lots of honey……

  680. Oh…she wants to know if she should bring her riding crop and the whip cream.

  681. Twins on the People of Wal-Mart…YES!

    MCM – Hiya!

BH/ 4D – Have you tried on the new outfit??

  682. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

JSO-TXSD: It wouldn’t hurt in the least for your friend to give SA a try! He should be cautious ( I know this goes without saying) during his search to make sure he meets a sincere SB who will see him for more than just his $$. Invite him to the blog :) The SBs are just as willing to help screen pot SBs as some of the SDs have been for us.

I have received the wonderful People of Wal-mart emails…they are hilarious :)

  683. I have to tell Molly about the Wal-Mart meet, hold on………she is so in :)

  684. Hi Anna! We’re going to meet the sds in the Wal Mart parking lot and get caught…then our pics will be on People of Wal Mart site! Yeah!

  685. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

ESB – Wish you were here to go with me… Pink and Silver

Midwest – Isn’t it funny? It cracks me up whenever I remember to go there….LOL…so funny.

Uncommon SB -Oh, love the curly hair and sexy golf shots… Makes me wish for green grass, golf carts whizzing’ by, and I need to get my clubs out and practice my swing. I actually have one of those contraptions to practice your putting…. I am a Diva at getting the ball out of the Sand Traps though….. Golf University helped me a lot! I may not be very good…but I have the hottie’ golf wear to sport with my Ping Clubs….

Uncommon SB – I give a kickass’ hot stone massage. Yes, I have the Basalt Lava Hot Stones…… “This is hot, this is cold….”

  686. 4D – Love the new name. People of Wal-mart…bwah hahahah…freakin hilarious!

  687. CA Dreamin – yet again !!!! Hello, hello, echooooo

  688. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

SDO TXSD – Did your add also add that we can peruse the isles of Walmart with our Iphones and snap pictures to upload to, “People of Walmart…” Oh….so hot, sign me up…… Your offer is so enticing…… Not! However, People of Walmart is the brainchild of two young students and is quite amusing…..

  689. Dashing Divalicious Decadent Dallas says:

Ok, Ok, I am jealous of everyone else with creative names… But Yaz 10 is funny though…

Moon Patrol….yes I think the SB’s on here can help you with your strategy and help you find high quality SB’s. I offer my ass*istance as I am sure others will too.

IRLSD – We are waiting to find out what went on behind closed doors. giggle, he must be all tied up at the moment….

I once promised a boyfriend that he tried sushi I would try #$&#$&…. Amazingly he joked a lot about it but didn’t take me up on my offer…. You snooze you lose….he he 😉

  690. Lisa – Absolutely NO pouncing or clearance sales going on here tonight :-) I thought you were dipping into the cold meds again…too funny!

  691. TXSB says:

    Midwest:
Hi! Thanks…yes…2010 will hopefully bring me a new and better SD!

    Moonpatrol:
If you choose to take midwest’s suggestion and let us help with your profile and/or pots….
    I’m off to have dinner….see ya’ll later!

  692. MoonPatrol – Don’t be giving away all my secrets :-) Glad to see your outlook is changing!

  693. MoonPatrol says:

Amen … Mistress of the Dark
On previewing some of my pots. You know that Elvira was a strawberry redhead or blonde . not a dark haired

  694. MusicCityMistress (MCM) says:

    Hi Sweet Sugars!

A big sugary welcome to all the new bloggers :)

Will you be looking for sugar in 2010?

    Absolutely :)

Has what you seek in the Sugarbowl changed in the last year? If so, how?

It has changed significantly. I wished I had utilized the blog before I even created a profile on SA. The blog advice has proven to be paramount to help you avoid some of the pitfalls one can encounter while searching or being contacted by a potential SD.

Boston Honey: I LOVE sushi too:)

  695. Hi TXSB!

My apologies for the long post…took an hour to catch up!

  696. Hi BH, Lisa, JSO, MoonPatrol, ESB, Lisa’s SD, Gail and all others!

How was your sugarlife in 2009?
I didn’t even learn about the sugar world until Aug…then I was hooked! I learned so much from the friendly bloggers, then referred a gentleman to the blog. With their guidance and a little fate, we have had a great start to a great arrangement!
Will you be looking for sugar in 2010?
It’s too early to tell. I’m enjoying my current arrangement and don’t see a need for any immediate changes. I’d be the next commodity if I could tell what is going to happen in 2010! :-)
Has what you seek in the Sugarbowl changed in the last year? If so, how?
I won’t say it changed, I just become more informed. I’ve learned the traditional definition still stands, but there are many variances and needs. I’ve also learned that the few I have told IRL are very curious and very understanding of my choices…great friends indeed!

TLG – Glad to see you are stateside and happy! You didn’t have to go half way around the world to get the good stuff though

TXSB – Thank you for your candid response. They say “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down”. You will find a new (and better) sd for 2010!

NYC SB – May I raid your shoes and jewelry? You had an amazing year by anyone’s standards! Congratulations!

Uncommon – I really like your profile! Nice follow through on your golf swing girl! Golf lessons did wonders for me too!

Gemi – Being a GREAT SB is a GREAT attitude!!! Please share any tidbits you learn along the way. So far, I’ve learned that being yourself goes a very long way. It’s also a requirement to keep life’s annoyances out of the sugar romance. Those are just common sense though.

VA SB, Puertoblk and Amanda – Welcome!

LASB – They may poof for a variety of reasons, but don’t take any of them personally. If you find one you think one is genuine, wait a few weeks and write a quick hello. James took a month to reply and it turned out just fine!!

Uncommon – it is not unreasonable to ask if he is coming your way anytime in the near future. Otherwise, meet halfway, non-refundable ticket and hotel in your name, and some proof of identity. Make sure you let someone know where you are going.

MoonPatrol – I can’t tell you why you are meeting the wrong ladies, but I can offer to help you preview profiles and screen them for potential fakes, etc. Some of the other ladies would probably do the same. Just make sure you send the profile numbers to our e-mails.

2Chic – Yeah! Ring in the new year!

JSO – I have dated one person who was heavier, but also a large guy overall. I would say he needs to be honest and confident about his appearance. Dress nice and make the most of it. It won’t be much different than IRL except he will need to be on his guard for women who see him as a target. There is someone for everyone!

  697. ESB says:

I wish we could post pix on here wth out the long wait. Would love to see your outfit BH.

  698. Boston Honey says:

Ohhhh, my NYE outfit arrived. Yeah! Very nice indeed.

    XO,

    BH

  699. Boston Honey says:

Mmmm, I love oysters….I love sushi too.

Just had some tonight….local and from Japan. Ok, tonight was a very interesting evening. I was with a girlfriend and saw my builder.. He was with a bunch of local well known men and women from the affluent town I live in and introduced us to them. I started talking to these women who had already had a few drinks. These women are significantly older then I am and let’s just say tonight I met the real “desperate housewives”…. The married women who told me point blank that “I don’t need a vibrator, I don’t use sex toys… I am way too busy… I am so busy, I am quite entertained…” They went on to show a lot of hand gestures….LOL….and made sure that it was very clear what they were telling me…. Also, they went on to tell me that they are sick and tired of planning dinner Chirstmas parties for over 40 people and really wanted to wear their oh so sexy, oh so non-appropriate outfits and would not be having a New Years Party this year…told their friends they are staying home..Yeah Right……Whispered in ear, that they are going out on the town for the New Year in their “non-appropriate outfits”…. Hmmmm, tres interesting…makes me wonder about what is really going on behind closed doors….I think people are married and bored, the men are on SA and the women are having a ball….and it works…. LOL. Definitely a lively, fun-filled start to my evening……

Welcome all to the blog. VA and Amanda and others!

SDN- Great Advice! Why can’t everyone understand that safety is important.

James – You have it down to a statistical breakdown of 21 emails….hmmmm…. However, you win the award for realizing that a gal has to be safe But I am not worried….ha ha..I know who my little friend is….LOL…

Moon Patrol you need to meet some real SB’s who are sassy, fun, and the real deal. Drama free and not draining your wallet the first time they meet you nor telling you some kind of BS sob story…. I think you are nice, too nice.

I am trying a new pic as well…waiting for the approval which is slow today. I think Stephan’s co-workers *who must hate all of us that update our profiles quite often* must be sick and tired of all of us on here….Note to them: Thank-you for all of your hard work and dedication….Happy New Year to you too! We appreciate your hard work!

    XO,
    Boston Honey

I don’t feel like I can get fooled or taken at this point with 5 relationships under my belt. All of them have taken me though. ha ha . I think I know the tone of things. One thing I found odd is lack of direct eye contact when standing up talking, or positioning one’s body at a 45 Deg angle instead of square face to face when talking. That happened to me once and I thought she was hidin something and sure enough we didn’t work out in the long term.

  701. JSO-TXSD says:

ok like FB i get that ok. not for me…lol

  702. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Goodnight Gail

  703. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

It would have taken me longer to get to you and anyway I might have ended up lost. lol

  704. ESB says:

JSO: I just deleted my Tagged account. was on ther for a year. It’s a sight like FB or MySpace. You get a profile, and meet people. LIke a dating sight. I met some wonderful people there, but the ones I dated, were all users, players, and fake. That is why I left. I like the class of people here much better.

  705. Lisa's SD in NYC says:

Lisa you could have visited more states on your trip if you didn’t press me to spring for a non-stop.

  706. Gail says:

    oops…sorry for my broken english…

I meant, “if a SD takes a chance to reach out and help a SB”

There are many SBs who have been assisted on their first and second dates that are still “Classy”, or better yet are wonderful SBs : ) And their SDs fully appreicate and love taking care of them.

Going back to real life : ) Bye Lisa and Sweetred.

  707. JSO-TXSD says:

ok dumb question. what is tagged. ever time I log into y place to check mail someone has tagged me and wants to know if I want to tagg back?
    what is tagged dot com

  708. TXSB says:

    Sweetredhead:
    Good night! :)

  709. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Goodnight Sweetredhead

  710. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I think I have made alot of progress in the last 4 years. :)

  711. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I better call it a night. Before I insult anyone else no matter how unintentional. I am to tired to think clear.

    Good night all.

  712. Gail says:

I know what you mean Lisa….just because a sb struggles doesn’t mean that they are a bad choice for a SB. I take other peoples opinions with a grain of salt. In most cases they just don’t have the life experiences some of us have already had. So they speak from what they think its like and tend to write and judge others.

I believe that if a SD takes a chance and reach out and help a SB, no matter what their circumstances they are is the best by far. Based on my personal and true experiences they have heart and soul that is truly desirable…. I have been blessed : )

  713. TXSB says:

    Moonpatrol:
Thank you! So you’re another Texan….nice! I 2nd Sweetredhead, that a classy woman takes care of herself and acts appropriately in any situation. A classy woman doesn’t expect a man she just met (ie. 1st or 2nd date) to pay her rent or other bills….it’s all about self respect. I’ve been in situations where I was struggling to pay rent/bills…but I didn’t “drop hints” to men I met so that they could bail me out.

Re: SBs looking for a SD or a SM
Depending on the profile/pictures….they’re either bisexual or escorts.

  714. UncommonSB says:

Moon: Or keeping her sugar options open! Not my style, but to each their own.

  715. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

MoonPatrol I would presume she is expanding her opportunities and is bisexual.

  716. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

    She is bi sexual moonpatrol.

  717. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Lisa we have all been there 1 time or another, not what I meant hun. The woman I was referring to are the one’s that expect others to help them and not even try and help themselves. That is far from anything like you.

  718. MoonPatrol says:

One benefit is I remember which one it was.

    Question:
What should I assume about a sugar baby who is looking for a sugar daddy or a sugar mom?

  719. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

sheeh I AM tired!! redhead!! Good thing I have a long weekend. I need it.

  720. Gail says:

    Lol….head head?….lol…Red you are killing me : )

  721. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Thanks Gail

I guess by some bloggers, the fact that I have struggled to pay my rent in the past, i’d be an undesirable. Yet I know alot of people that can pay their rent but have no class.

  722. MoonPatrol says:

I once looked at a Chiroco painting for what seemed like 30 minutes

  723. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Gail you make me sound like a mom lmao

  724. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

MoonPatrol LMAO that’s called STUBBORN! But i do understand. As a headhead I have done similar things lmao.

  725. MoonPatrol says:

You can’t buy class . its kind of like being aware and considerate of the people around you. I had good teachers.

  726. Gail says:

Lisa has always had wit and charm…. it’s never overpowering. I think its not noticed because of so many strong personalities here.

Sweetred, yes I do know you…as a wonderful loving person who keeps everyone in line : )

  727. MoonPatrol says:

I was once at a theater event with a sugar date and i was going to intermission through a door that said fire escape or maintenance or something and my date said something about it. But I was so strong willed about going through the door that I opened it and it was a hallway thing before I realized I was in a trance and going the wrong way now. I was real tired that night! slightly embarrassing but at least I was confident and followed through in my error!

  728. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

MoonPatrol then up your standards. A woman who is needy and can’t pay her rent is not what you are looking for. A classy woman I feel takes care of herself and acts appropriately in any situation. from the football field to the symphony. Class is something I feel you a brought up with. The way you carry yourself, manors, how well your respect yourself and others.

    TXSB:
You be my favorite writer here. I’m from Texas too if that s what you mean.
I feel like the wise man who came down from the mountain.
Really would like to meet a classy woman I could take to the Symphony and theater and not be embarrassed .

  730. Evening sugars! Settling in for the evening…everything is done and time to relax!

True. I have seen some profiles that state average and are far from it. I state full over weight on mine and I have had men tell me after they meet me that it was deceiving because they would not consider me full over weight from what I look like. But other might consider me that. It depends on your prospective and likes and dislikes.

  732. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

My former SD used to say I always kept him entertained with my antics lol He loved my humor and my positive outlook. Said I was refreshing. He still calls me sometimes, he says just so I can put a smile on his face. Isn’t he sweet!

  733. UncommonSB says:

Sweet: I agree to a certain extent of course that bone and muscle structure, but that’s not what I’m referring to. Adjusting a standard index say 20lbs to reflect specific build is much different than people who have excessive amounts of fat with little muscle tone, yet consider themselves ‘average’ weight.

  734. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Hi Gail, lol you know me, you never know what I may say next lol

  735. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

    Hi Gail :)

Well I hope most of his weight isn’t his “breast size” lol

  736. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

And there are plenty of attractive, young, plus size ladies on the site.

Average in Texas might be a beer gut for men but for women it means a 3 foot wide behind, I have seen many of these.

  737. Gail says:

    Hello Everyone,

Sucking heads and eating tails today? Took my afternoon nappie and this is what I wake up to…. : ) Sweetred oh soooo apetizing.

  738. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

You have to take into consideration, Breast size, legs ect. Not everyone is porportioned the same. Also muscle weighs more than fat.

  739. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

The health standards are bogus. They need to be updated. We have patients that are considered over weight by health care standards and they are far from it.

    JSO:
There are plenty of guys who match that description who’re on this site. As for his chances…a major part of depends on what HE’s looking for. As in his allowance budget, if he’ll consider someone long distance, how often he wants to see someone etc. And of course, whether or not he gets long with the girl (I’m assuming personality matters to him if he joins this site…b/c otherwise he could just get a good looking escort). I see no harm in him joining and seeing what he finds.

  741. Amanda says:

JSO: IMO, as long as his picture/profile accurately represents him, I don’t think his chances are all that bad.

  742. UncommonSB says:

Lisa: You’re just full of clever remarks this evening!

Only in America does someone look themselves in the mirror and declare themselves ‘average’ despite all health standards indicating borderline obesity!

  743. JSO-TXSD says:

thanks girls. just dont want to build up his hopes and it not work out

  744. ESB says:

Hello Sugar family!! Im here!! My “sis” just got disowned… texted me earlier to say the kids were all out and about and she wanted to spend some alone time with her hubby… then posts on FB that she was hanging with Mandie!! hmmm…. her hubby’s name is ANDY!!

I’im going to do more catching up here, then respond…

NYC SB: Do tell me more! I’m inspired!! Thanks for the uplifting message. Would like to hear more about that investment venture!! 😉

  745. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

Exactly 2chic. As I do. Honesty is always the way to go.
Like putting up pictures that are 10 yrs old. WHY??? you have to meet they well find out sooner or later.

  746. JSO-TXSD says:

    lisa – no I am average in texas(beer gut)…lol

  747. 2Chic says:

    JSO..
I am sure there are some females who likes overweight guys. He needs to be honest about it on the profile and let the females decide for themselves.

  748. Lisa that Actually Has an SD says:

I would say he sounds “average” weight if he is in Texas

  749. Sweetredhead*269443* says:

I would say weight does not make the person. If he is a nice guy I am sure someone will be happy to have him. There is more to a person than appearances.

  750. UncommonSB says:

JSO: There’s someone for everyone, that’s my opinion. I personally am fairly particular and don’t go for ‘ample’ types, but I’m sure some don’t mind or may even have a preference for it.

  751. JSO-TXSD says:

ok question for the girls. I have a buddy that I am thinking telling him about this. He makes good money and is a nice guy.. His problem is this; he is about 100-150 pounds overwieght and he likes good looking girls. what would ya’ll say his chances are.

  752. JSO-TXSD says:

moon patrol are you still on
