Sugar Daddies & Babies on Tap

Newness and change is respected, if not embraced, by most Sugar Daddies and Sugar Babies. The question of how long to see a particular sugar doesn’t always come up naturally, and perhaps doesn’t need to.

Some prefer one arrangement at a time, while some arrangements involve more than one sugar…

“[…]YES, it is a YES from the twins.
We are scheduling the first week-end.
Probably the last week-end of March
They are as excited as I am, so soon !
We exchanged mails and talked openly about our expectations.
I formulated the sugar offer for each of them.
Travel is easy. It is just a short direct flight for 2,5 hours.
Found this marvellous 5 ***** Hotel, and ancient chateau now renovated.

How would you feel about having more than one Sugar Daddy or Sugar Baby at a time?

Ever wanted to show off your sugar? Why/why not?

What qualities of a Sugar Daddy or Sugar Baby make you proud of them?

I’m new here. Just wanted to say thank you so much for exposing MDforthee. He messaged me but his offer sounded too good. So I googled him and here we are. He’s no doctor….

  2. lisadawne says:

I only want one.I think it depends on the SB personality

  3. Andrea says:

I came across your blog and wanted to comment because I have recently started corresponding with a potential SD from Toronto – Bryan, he’s a surgeon. Sounds suspicious… I was curious whether there were any other recent activities with this fellow?

I haven’t found a sugar daddy yet, but Im new. I would really love to find one SD that would make me completely happy, but I dont think two would be a bad idea. As long as you could keep it up both of them. Thats the beauty of it not being a Bf/GF relationship.

course I would want to show it off!

Qualities: First and formost nice and caring. Some one who will take some time to get to know each other before we rush into things. And then of course someone that is willing to give me everything I want in exchange =) starting off small of course. Im only one girl, I just want the world heheh

In response to the question concerning having multiple sugar daddies, as a sugar baby I believe that it’s a discussion I would need to have with my sugar daddy. If we are both comfortable with our agreement and he does not wish for me to have any other SDs then I would comply with his wish. However, if he was indifferent then that’s a decision I would make on my own based on my own needs.
In response to showing off a sugar, I think I speak for both SBs and SDs when I say that most wish to keep their arrangement private. Whether its because they are married or the age gap is rather substantial or perhaps because they fear it might put their job at risk. By making the agreement public, they are subjecting themselves to a lot of judgement and essentially putting both their personal lives and their professional lives at risk. It’s not so much an issue of embarassment but more of a concern that society is not yet accepting of these types of arrangments.

Just got back from washing. Not the best day for wearing a flowing skirt, lol.

I have already spent 2 entire days waiting for my package and i’m tired of it. I was going to wear my new outfit to the galleria tomorrow. the Galleria is an upscale shopping mall that has Louis Vuitton, Neimans, Versace, etc and it just makes me feel good to go there but a little depressed because I can’t afford anything. I like to dress up and take my Louis Vuitton handbag with me. I walk through Neimans and Saks and the salespeople try to sell me perfume and stuff. For a little while I blend in with the better half and escape from my nasty neighborhood. Now I’m stuck home. I have to work wed and thursday and then i’ve already promised to meet my parents to walk to the grocerystore on friday so I won’t be able to go to the Galleria till next week, if even then. :( I’m getting so bored sitting home with nothing to do but if I even go out for a little while tomorrow, you can bet that’s when the mail will come. I wish it came early but it can come anytime from noon or earlier sometimes till 7 pm at night.

  7. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Lisa ~ now you’ll have a nice new outfit to wear once you get your package so, while your day may have been wasted there’s a prize at the end of it all :)

    Good evening all,
I feel quilty having been the cause for 1653 comments.
So it seems a good idea that I am the person to close the little black book.
It has been wonderful to read all the heartfelt reactions.
I will also close the bar now and see you at the other subject.
As to the twins, they want to have a day out in a rental car.
Like so many they dote on driving a new car.
If that is the way to spoil them , why not.
Last time I tried it in car ? Let me see that was in a classic Porsche.
I prefer the luxury of a giant bed in a deluxe hotel.
The largest one I ever slept in was at the Glenneagles Hotel in Scotland.
It was so large that I had to spy though my binoculars to discover where my young lady had hidden. Do ask you SD to take you there some day.
It is even better than in Hotel Rhul in Nice, Boulevard des Anglais.
Most French hotels have short narrow beds.
Will report back on beds coming Friday.

finally got the post office to answer and my package is still there. Now I gotta cancel my trip to the galleria tomorrow and sit around all day. I was looking forward to getting out of this house and going somewhere and now that’s ruined. Too late to go anywhere now as it takes 2 hours to go and 2 hours to get back from where I was going. This day sucks totally wasted and now tomorrow is wasted because the mail can come anytime from noon till 7 pm.

I going to go now. Not much in the mood to chat. Lisa’s life sucks

Ooh, new blog… Heading there! :-)

  12. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Bonjour, Sugars!

  13. lisa says:

she sped off already. I’m trying to call the post office and the phone is on the 20th ring so I guess they don’t answer their phone either. this sucks now I have to cancel my plans for tomorrow I guess so I can sit around all day.

  14. ~Nico~213385~ says:

HAha Sweet E….I’ve heard! Need to keep my fingers to myself when around you and Chocolate 😉

Lisa ~ I wouldn’t wait on the mail-person. I would tackle her in the parking lot.

Gail ~ Thank you for the love. He really is a fine gentleman and I would like to think I’m deserving of him. I do appreciate his gentleman like ways, his off kilter sense of humor and his generous nature. He does keep me in the loop too when making plans etc. I could’ve imagined this is what it was like and now it’s happening to me :) *hugs* all around. I hope my time has come.

OC ~ how is your new place? Are you settled/settling in yet? Thank you for taking a hard line on the blog and defining the boundaries of the respects as it comes to profiles and appropriate topics for the blog.

And….to all those I’ve not addressed personally Happy Monday!!! :)

  15. lisa says:

argghhh well the mailperson left and did not deliver my package. I called the apartment office to see if it had been left in there, and the person who answered doesn’t comprehend the Enlish language. I can’t believe this lazy a** mail carrier is pulling this crap again. Gotta call the post office now. I guess I won’t be getting my package.

  16. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    😀 Thanks Lisa, you’re a doll! 😉

  17. lisa says:

I’ll put them in the mailbox today SweetEuropean

  18. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Note to Lisa: Share the chocolate marshmallow bunnies with SweetEuro!! 😉

I’m a sucker for chocolate… just ask Gail! Lol

  19. lisa says:

mailman is here now, well actually that lazy substitute, now let’s see if she brings up my package when she finishes delivering to the other boxes.

  20. lisa says:

note to self: pick up some chocolate marshmallow bunnies when i’m out tomorrow.

  21. lisa says:

    Hi Gail

I’m under house arrest waiting for the mailman to redeliver my package. I got a cute plaid skirt and sweater dress on sale from Express. I need to get out of this house, someone help! I gotta keep a low profile because that janitor guy’s car is parked outside so that means he’s around here and if he sees me he will follow me up to my apartment and try to ask me out again. He’s a nice guy but he’s a janitor and most likely looking for a greencard. Yuck, I don’t want janitors, I want a business man

  22. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Gail!! 😀 How have you been?

    Mmmmm… Chocolate bunnies….. LOL

” just batt those eyes, flip your hair, and flash your legs. It requires no verbal exchange:) ”

Haha I love it! I shall make sure i’m wearing a nice tight dress and killer heels when approaching the subject… work the legs!!! 😉

  23. Gail says:

LOL@ Sweet E:) You are the cutest….how could they not refuse to be your SD….just batt those eyes, flip your hair, and flash your legs. It requires no verbal exchange:)

I am busy Sweet E….Easter is coming…I will be coloring my eggs soon, and playing with all the bunnies, blue and chocolate ones. See you in Sugarworld:)

  24. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

hey new blog you should all come and give your thoughts!!! in need of sugared babies!! lol
Sweet Euro ~ i like the sugared up!

  25. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

It needed to be said lol.

Hmm, sugar search on SA has been a bit on the quiet side but I may have a meeting sometime in April which is good news! I’ve also been working on finding SDs in real, everyday life! I have a few potentials who seem to fit the SD mould, I haven’t bought the subject up yet… i’m trying to work out how to get the message across without being too full on!

Hmm, I would ask you the same question but we all know you’re all Sugared up!! 😀

  26. Gail says:

    Morning Sugars,

The blog is flowing more positively I see. Thanks OC for saying things that have been on my mind, tastefully and with tact. You are so eloquent in your communication. I elect you 1st Lady SB of the Blog:)

Nico…I am excited for you…I am jumping up and down. You deserve a great SD, you have been waiting ever so patiently.

OC…I would hate to see my profile number up there without my consent. I try to keep my Sugar dating private, unless I am venting or sharing my success with other SBs, even then so I do not disclose the profile numbers on the blog. Its just using good sense and being respectful to others.

Lisa…Welcome back…I see you have made yourself comfortable:)

  27. OCSugarBaby says:

Bonsoir SweetEuro! I hated to take such a hard line on some of the blog issues, but I REFUSE to let the blog not be the wonderful tool it was meant to be.
How has your Sugar search been going? Any news? :)

  28. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

OC – I agree completely! How are you today? :)

Niko – I’ve been doing the same thing, there’s just far too much to read through!!! And answers to important questions seem to get lost within all the conversations which is a shame lol

    Bonsoir everybody!

  29. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

OC~ i didn’t mean for it to be disrespectful , they wanted cute guys in FL, i found some . I don’t think its wrong to put their profile # on if they are cute and good things are said about them… but i’ll watch myself from now on
i didn’t think it was harmful, since their profile is online!
i’ll be careful and do it off site

  30. OCSugarBaby says:

Beach_Girl: No worries! It was mentioned in general. Many others have done it too. Just that posting someone’s profile number without their consent or knowledge is not… um well. Let’s just say that some things can be offline. :)

A TON of potential SD’s read this thing! Seriously! We all want to put our best foot forward and keep it Positive, friendly and respectful.

  32. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

OC~ i only put the profile # of the guys that were cute, i didn’t post the number of the guy that sounded bad
i was searching and said they were cute but too far for me, and i knew some of the Sugars wanted to go to FL

  33. ~Nico~213385~ says:

WOW ~ OC, I’ve gotten to the point where I log into the blog and scroll to this morning’s activities completely disregarding what was said overnight. I didn’t even look but have to agree 100%

  34. OCSugarBaby says:

Setting up a Yahoo IM account is really easy. It is also a great way to chat with other blog’ers! ~Hint
Most of us use it to chat with Pot SD’s too. If you dont want to chat with them any longer you can always block them.

~How would you feel if someone posted your ID on the blog and called you an ass? You never know who is reading the blog. It could be your next SD. Many people lurk and will never come and blog. So, they READ every word you write. :)

  35. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Nico~ Congrats…. have a great day!

  36. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Good morning family ~ been a busy morning here but a good day!!

Have a meet with my PotSD on the 5th…..cannnnoooootttt wait :) Lotsa chemistry in e-mail and over the phone.

  37. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. Slept late this morning, went down and got my free hot chocolate (with coupon). I’m under house arrest now with the United States postal service, waiting for redelivery of my package that they said they couldn’t deliver friday. Beautiful sunny day here.

Alot of green checks in my mailbox but no response back. I will change this sight to i’mrude.com

  38. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    good morning SE~
i’m off to work hope you have a good day!

  39. SuthrnExec says:

Good morning everyone – Henri, if you’re still around, good afternoon!

OK all you lurkers, come on out!

  40. HenriLouis*294522 says:

    Good morning sweet Sugarland,
It’s Monday again and I have a lot of work to do on my tax form as well.
I loved reading up the blog.
How nice that you are sharing new found SDs and encourage to write.
Yes there is magic in numbers I see. I studied the stories closely and come to the conclusison that there is a kind of relation between the height of the SD and the length of the arrangement.
I am 5.10 and in European seize it is 1 meter 76. With any luck the relationship with the twins will run on for a year.
That will keep me busy and healthy enough.
Oh, and I missed the bonfire on the beach.
Great that there was chocolate shared among SBs, it brings them in the right mood. And certainly with that brand called Godiva.
According to legend Lady Godiva rode horseback only clad in her long hair. So I wish I had brought my stallion and you would do a Lady Godiva
on the beach, I have brought my digital camera, sensational photos for your profile.
Anyway I will have brought my guitar and do some flamenco, just for you ! Of course there are cases of chilled Cava in the trunck of that pink Bentley Coupe’.
Being a beach bum, I just love beach parties.
Wonderful skinny dipping at full moon.
Yes, I must definitely have this scene in my novel Guilty Pleasures.
Will tell you more later !
    SandyHenri

Hmm I sent 5 emails out for the day, that’s a good number I think. Time to play a game of solitaire before bed.

  42. Jamisen/305521 says:

BG- No, I’m not. He’s clearly not looking for someone as young as me, who is looking for $ (but really, the point of the site is to get the $ question out of the way), and who doesn’t like spectator sports. An light interest in sports is what usually gets me in the door with men.

  43. gurlnextdoor says:

Email him Jamisen! :) You never know what could happen…and yes he was an ass. And to make things worse he was a premium member, but not on this site *shakes head*

  44. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    gnd~ i didn’t know that!
    jamisen~ you gonna mail him?
okay i’ll have to read the blog tomorrow , i’ll get up earlier lol
    coz i’m off nite

  45. Jamisen/305521 says:

Need I repeat what BG just said? Ass.

I just read a very long profile and although everything he said was the opposite of what he was looking for and what I liked, I couldn’t help but like him more.

  46. gurlnextdoor says:

I dunno, lol, I guess the good life…people have a tendency to make religious related analogies especially when they grow up in the “South”.

  47. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    nite Kat~

  48. gurlnextdoor says:

Your welcome, Kat are you going to sleep??? If so night

  49. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd ~ i totally get that , the 92529 want to take his SB to “take a walk with me in the gateway of heaven” lol
i’m not that all religious ,,, what does that mean really????

  50. gurlnextdoor says:

Yes I do BG, but I guess I’m just picky, lol…goodnight though

  51. Katherine says:

alright, night BG, and GND :)

  52. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

i’ll fav him and mail him tomorrow thank you!

  53. gurlnextdoor says:

I know BG, but I’d rather it be a waste of 2 minutes rather than a waste of a couple of days or even worse…weeks

  54. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

well Sugars , i’m off to bed
it’s 1 am here and i’m really tired,
too bad that the SDs i found didn’t help anyone,
gnd~ why aren’t they good for you? you wanted to go to FL

  55. gurlnextdoor says:

BG, this guy seems ok…you can check him out. 92529 He’s 6’2

  56. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ lol what an ass ….

  57. gurlnextdoor says:

Well that was a waste of 2 minutes lol, I asked this potential SD what he was looking for and he said “nothing, just playing around”. wtf?!?!?

  58. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd ~ good for you im cool!

  59. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

249271 he’s cute too , from michigan in real estate
talked to him a little tall too!

  60. gurlnextdoor says:

I’ll keep a look out for you BG

  61. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

jamisen~ it’s written in his profile lol

  62. gurlnextdoor says:

Aww BG, neither is good for me :( I’ll keep searching though, oh and a potential SD just IMed me :)

  63. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ i read everything , you all should too, no matter where they are at
never know, hope you get something
all of you let me know if you find a 6’1 and taller guy somewhere lol

  64. Jamisen/305521 says:

Bg- How do you know his gardener drives a mercedes?

  65. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd ~ new york california, 156472 5’9 though
    you never know

  66. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha thanks BG, you put me in an emailing mood for the night (lucky SDs, lol).

Yes Kat, I can be pretty poetic at times, it’s how my crazy little brain works. :)

  67. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

you Sugars got enough Sds to mail now lol

  68. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

i should mail him that web site lol

  70. Katherine says:

hehehee I love the way you put that GND!!!

  71. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

This SD is really cute and a plastic surgeon but blue :(
too bad , i’m mailing him anyways lol
299868 if you want to mail too!

  72. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha BG, I can give him a website to find a girl like that. escorts.com lol (don’t know if that’s a real website, btw).

Yes Kat I agree, but he sounded so sweet, and he’s Italian. I can feel my heart melting like chocolate left out in the hot summery sun. :)

  73. Katherine says:

lol I think so, but it’s fun 😀

    and Jamisen… I don’t know which SDs you’re talking about :(

  74. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

this is one guys profile lol
” uninhibited sexy nymph for hours of carnal oral fun…hotel rendezvous…champagne, salacious convo and then anything is a go.”

  75. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Kat~oh yeah , but you take you can get girl , i’m looking , i read everyone that i find cute and then some lol
Some are too funny it’s unreal lol i’m in a mood tonight i think lol

  76. Jamisen/305521 says:

GND- I’m going to push the line further up and say that it’s anything MD and below.. fine, fine.. anything below Baltimore. And I guess I should be hitting up the NC SDs then? Since I’m far away but not too far that it’s ridiculous?

Wow, I’ve reading a thread from November and I’m cracking up out loud. There was even a little “bromance” going on between two SDs we still hear sporadically from..

  77. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

lol !!! great body though wow!!!
wouldn’t mind scratching that at all

  78. Katherine says:

hahahaha the last one that you showed us: 156472
but at a more careful look it looks like he’s looking for more of a relationship versus the traditional SD/SB relationship

  79. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Kat ~ you have to tell me how tall lol

  80. gurlnextdoor says:

Hmm BG, “reincarnated king”??? Hopefully not a reincarnation of King Henry the eighth, lol.

  81. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Katherine~ which one lol
where you at i like looking all guy from all over

  82. Katherine says:

wow BG! And he seems like a gem of an SD, too!!! hehe g/l :)

  83. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

this guy too 156472 i’m really on a roll
    lol

  84. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha don’t worry Jamisen, my bestfriend/ roommate and I always argue about that (she’s from Maryland). And like you she says anything below DC is the south, argh! lol

Yes Jamisen, I’m looking out of state too because all the SDs near me seem to be looking for out of state SBs. So now I’m going to look for out of state SDs. :)

  85. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ he has an amazing body 278827

  86. Katherine says:

Alright, been watching my chick flick so I haven’t really been paying attention to the posting here, but GND: thanks for the help with fixing up my profile. I think it’s much better now :) (But I haven’t posted additional pictures yet)

  87. gurlnextdoor says:

    Good night Suzie…hey Jasmine!

  88. Jamisen/305521 says:

GND, I live in the DC area. To me anything below the Mason-Dixon line is the south. That includes MD and VA! I know, protest all you want… but VA is the south!

I’ve going wayyyy back into the old blogs.. so many of the SDs say they had prospects in states far far away from them… where are all of those SDs now?

  89. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    good night SQ~

  90. Jasmine says:

Hello everyone! Sorry for everything a long time ago,my blackberry got messed up,so I couldn’t sent out any comments. Lisa hi!!!! Good to have u back miss you!!! :)

  93. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

  97. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

  98. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Hey thanks BG…you are the sugar matchmaker!

  99. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    SQ~ 254839 in Seattle!

  100. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha really? Aww BG ae is nothing but a number…it’s all about how you feel inside and what you project to the outside world.

Yes they are more expensive in their little boutiques but I love their dark chocolate cocoa, mmmmm. But Lindor truffles are the best, and less expensive. 😉

  101. SuzieQ*297329* says:

And why did I not know about this Godiva chocolate? Obviously I haven’t been hanging out with the right girls…until now lol!

OK, so from now on I shall endeavour to be more of a chocolate snob. Picture this…I’m at dinner with a pot sd, it’s time to order dessert (something chocolate, of course) but upon inquiring as to the brand of chocolate the head chef prefers I am shocked to learn that his standards are not up to mine. Coughing delicately into my napkin, I wave the waiter away while apologizing to my date, “I’m soooo sorry, but I simply cannot fathom why an establishment of this quality would fail to use only the very best chocolate. I’m afraid my spoiled little tummy has become quite accustomed to Godiva chocolate and I simply cannot stomach the thought of anything less.”

Now that is so not me I just scared myself silly! Did someone say chocolate? Good enough for me!

    LOL!!!

  102. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd just saw him, too young for me he said i looked good but too old!

  103. Jamisen/305521 says:

Thanks SuzieQ, Villa, GND. When I have an outfit I will run it through with y’all. So I missed a lot while I was temp away tonight but..

Lisa, I hope you catch this. I don’t know what your daughter’s grades are but I’m not talented, not athletic, didn’t get amazing grades.. I was run of the mill student. I ended up getting money to go to school not because I’m a minority, but because of my lower income status. I think even if your daughter applies to go to community college she’s bound to get financial assistance. Trust me, I don’t know anyone who pays for everything out of pocket. And I’m loving the new “their loss” outlook!

Godiva chocolate… I have to say good but not what I’m expecting for the price. It costs more when you buy it in their little stores, no? I’m originally from the west so I love See’s chocolates!

  104. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ 297521 he’s from BC and looking for a lady for dates and travel!

  105. gurlnextdoor says:

He’s cute, but sounds like he’s looking for a girlfriend/ potential wife. I need NSA, especially with me and my ex being back together now.

  106. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ this guy too 302819 but in DC
    very cute

  107. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ i know he’s hot and i would mail him, but since i’m far and not that available and in FL i thought of you ! hope it works for ya!

  108. gurlnextdoor says:

Yes Suzie, if you go to any Barnes and Noble’s bookstore or Dillard’s, they sell it there. I should know since I always pick some up when I go to either store. :)

Yes BG I will, and I loved how he said he doesn’t believe in sleeping with anyone. We will see though, one’s profile may say one thing and the emails they send you another.

  109. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    VC~ that’s true ,
SQ you never had Godiva chocolate? it’s great it’s not expensive and probably at the grocery store!

  110. gurlnextdoor says:

Yep I have to agree with Villa and Suzie, for me a sexy pair of 3 inch heels and a flirty, sundress does the trick. It makes me feel sexy and sophisticated. But for you it may be different. Just find what you feel most comfortable in and go with that.

  111. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd isn’t he!!! i thought you might like him
let me know if he mails back!!!!

  112. SuzieQ*297329* says:

GND, I will have a look, I’m sure it must be available around here….will save you some postage. Or better idea….maybe I will ask my pot sd to bring me a piece on our first date!

  113. VillaCypris *276489* says:

I agree with Suzie…. more important than the clothes, is the attitude and confidence radiating from within… that will make any outfit you choose a great showcase for your beauty!

  114. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

lol i think i need coffee lol
    or learn to read lol

  115. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Chocolate, on the other hand, is most definitely a staple of the vegetarian diet lol!

  116. SuzieQ*297329* says:

BG – sorry but chicken is NOT a vegetable! *climbs down from soap box*

    :)

  117. gurlnextdoor says:

Oh yes BG he is :) And he seems like my type of guy, I’ll email him. Thanks

  118. gurlnextdoor says:

Suzie I will ship you some godiva chocolate lol, mmm you must try it at least once in your life :)

  119. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    he’s cute
    just thought of you

  120. gurlnextdoor says:

oh yes and the song is by this band named spitafield, it’s got this upbeat punk rock vibe to it, but it’s a pretty good song

  121. SuzieQ*297329* says:

What’s the weather like right now where you live? If it’s cool maybe a hot pair of jeans, a nice top or sweater, and boots with heels that enhance your wiggle? Or if it’s warmer how about a soft, feminine skirt with sandals and a top that shows off your best feature (whether that’s shoulders, neck, or well…you know!)

Honestly though, I think whatever YOU feel comfortable and sexy in will be best. After all, when you feel good you look good. Or is that vice versa? Oh heck, I’m sure it works both ways.

Why don’t you go pick out an outfit and run it by us?

  122. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Yeah please share so i can get ideas too!

  123. gurlnextdoor says:

Ooo BG yes I will check him out :)

  124. Jamisen/305521 says:

SuzieQ- It’s okay, I used to be veggie too and would’ve made the same joke.

Do any female SBs out there want to share their foolproof first meeting outfits with me to give me some ideas?

  125. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SQ~ there is always chicken at a steak house !!! lol

  126. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Jamisen~ that is AWESOME, i’m so excited for you!!!!
i don’t know what to wear to my own meeting let alone yours
    CONGRATS!!!!!!

  127. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Jamisen – I’m a vegetarian…no clue what to wear for dinner at a steakhouse lol! (sorry, couldn’t resist!)

  128. Jamisen/305521 says:

Alright, sugar fam.. I need some help.

I have my first pot SD meeting on Tuesday night. Dinner at a steakhouse. What should I wear?

Btw, congrats on your first meeting BG! I didn’t forget about that!

  129. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    gnd~ who sings the song?

  130. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ this guy FL, cute 69877
    check him out 42, 5’10

  131. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Ooooh, I’m so not spoiled I don’t even know what Godiva chocolate is…but it sounds deeee-vine!

  132. gurlnextdoor says:

Yes most definitely some hot cocoa, Godiva dark chocolate or Godiva milk chocolate???

  133. gurlnextdoor says:

oh cool BC, haha no it’s a song title “I loved the way she said LA”, it’s really catchy :)

  134. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Thanks GND! Sounds like some yummy rewards…..hot chocolate too?

  135. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ you love the way i said LA???? i love LA too, use to work out there, most of my friends are there and i go once or twice a year…. Have too it’s party town!!lol

  136. gurlnextdoor says:

yay Suzie, join the blog again…and come sit down by the bon fire. I got smore’s and marshmellows :)

  137. gurlnextdoor says:

grrrr I’ve never been to LA, always wanted to go though…I loved the way she said LA (gonna listen to that now) :)

  138. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Yay me!!! Tax stuff all done :)

  139. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd ~ may of june my ass is in LA !!! or before if i can

  140. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha me too BG, I miss the beach…:(

  141. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

gnd~ i would love a beach bon fire!!!! i can almost taste the salty air lol
i need to get me some sun soon!
    Night SE

  142. VillaCypris *276489* says:

good night, SE ~ sweet dreams of OC! ehehe

  143. Just Me! says:

night suthrn .. don’t work too hard!

  144. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SQ~ i don’t know your situation so ,,,, i have my work, school and then the home office and i have no problems …. but i’ve been doing this a long time and i’m an organized freak lol!!! oh and a neat freak too!! but i’m getting better!

  145. gurlnextdoor says:

    Good night SuthrnExec…sleep well

  146. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah Kat, it just has that good feel to it….a nightly bon fire by the beach. Can you hear the waves in the background, rolling in and out, smell the salty water..ahhh. lol

  147. SuthrnExec says:

Good night ladies and anyone else out who is lurking – need to finish up on some work before I go to work tomorrow! :-)

  148. gurlnextdoor says:

Read it Kat, and it was good, plus you look like a sweet young woman. Now I love your pic (and your hair in it :) ), but I think you should add at least one full body or 3/4 of your full body shot. SDs are like people consumers and you are the product (hate to say it like this, and not saying your an object or anything…on to the analogy). They want to see what they’re getting before they put money or effort into buying it (hope that makes sense). Oh and where you say “any allowance” change that to “my allowance”. “Any allowance” might mislead a potential SD to think that an allowance is optional. Also take out “an allowance is much to ask for”, it just sounds better without it. That’s all I have to say. :)

  149. SuzieQ*297329* says:

BG – systems are always good. I do have a business filing system as it’s a bit more complicated than just one folder…how I wish lol!

I just have a lot of calculations of household expenses and such as I have a home office as well. Then chasing down my bookkeeper to make sure she’s brought my year end up to date. It’s not really that big a deal, just takes a bit of time to make sure I’ve got everything together before it goes to the accountant. *Focused* time that is!

And here I am…still blogging away. Someone smack me!

  150. Just Me! says:

LOL Villa! wish there were cliff notes for the blogs!! 😉

  151. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Hi Katherine and Y&F

  152. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Too much, Just Me… .don’t ask! :p

  153. Katherine says:

GND you’ve totally coined it. BonFire!!!! 😀

  154. gurlnextdoor says:

Good evening Y&F, doing good. Just chilling by the nightly sugar bon fire as usual, lol.

Kat I’ll take a look at your profile in a bit. :)

  155. Just Me! says:

Hi everyone… what’s been going on in here? Way to much to read on this blog… with over 1500 comments I’d be here all night!! LOL Hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend!

  156. Katherine says:

AW Young&Fabulous that’s awesome to hear!!! It DOES take a lot of upper body strength.. but you acquire it as you keep practicing. Obviously, but it comes much easier than you think it would. Especially if you dedicate some time to doing push-ups here and there haha.
You’re gonna have soooo much fun with it!!! 😀

  157. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SQ~ you should have a system that when you get something for work you put it in a folder for taxes, thats what i do!
    hi Y&F

  158. gurlnextdoor says:

    Yes Suzie multitask :)

  159. Katherine says:

hey, could I ask whoever has a bit of time to do another editing bout on my profile? I pretty much overhauled it and now I’m not even sure if you can see any personality in it lol. Anyway. Feel free to be brutal, it might just need it!
    *305371 is the number.

BG: I’m the same. I don’t tend to mind paying the extra 50 bucks for someone to do the taxes cos sometimes there’s too much stress from them!! Plus they know all the loopholes with deductibles and how to get the most money back

  160. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

Good evening SUGARS!!!!! How was everyone’s sunday? Mine was ok I guess….Went to work for a few hours…left early….Came to the house…& SURPRISE!!!! My dance pole is up & ready in my room….♥….Gah! I learned I do not have alot of upper body strength…*l0l*…Anywho….Hope everyone enjoys their night!!!!

  161. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Oh I have someone do my taxes too BG, but I have to get everything together for her so she has time to get them done before my bank’s deadline. So no more distractions everyone! *puts head down and rustles papers busily*

  162. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Suthrn, you are DANGEROUS! I am enough of a procrastinator as it is lol! Besides, my bank wants my financials within 30 days as a condition of my business loan so my deadline is a bit tighter than the standard.

But, I am just sorting through receipts and statements now…maybe I will try to multitask…..

  163. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ that’s true , i have homework to do and i’m here lol
and i get someone to do my taxes , i hate the hassle

  164. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    SE~ i’m not worried i’ll find someone
have a few pot SD so they’re only 6′ though but it’s ok

  165. SuzieQ*297329* says:

I don’t mind doing them, it’s just setting aside the time to focus on it for a few hours. And you all are not helping…it’s way more fun here!

  166. SuthrnExec says:

You’ve got time to do taxes – put it off!!

OC is definately my sugar – I was just letting you know that tall (or not-short) SDs are out there! If there’s one, there’s bound to be more!

  167. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    You’re in British Columbia? I don’t know where nanaimo is…. ?

    heard it’s beautiful there…

  168. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Me too VC, life is pretty busy to coordinate group training most of the time, but we have an awesome Sat morning trail running club in my city….the more mud the better! Then we track it all into a local coffee shop afterwards lol! They don’t mind though, we eat and drink a lot!

  169. Katherine says:

aw, taxes SuzieQ?? harsh. BUT! You’ll prolly get a lot back this year ;)!!!

  170. gurlnextdoor says:

Ohh I dread tax work, well it’s easier online (that’s how I do mine at least). 😉

  171. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Hi Suthrn, GND….everyone is coming out just as I was about to sign off and work on my taxes

  172. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Hi Suthrn…. ya, i know, would’ve been some priceless photos! I didn’t mind, was pretty funny actually.

Suzie, that’d be fun! I usually walk and run alone.

  173. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~ really!!!! prrr… where are you at? and i thought you and OC were together?
    VC~ i’m not worried!!! i’ll find someone

  174. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ yeah you Sugars all little …. i’m too tall and all the tall guys are like far away lol
it’s cool i’ve been talking to a few the last few days actually so….
and they are all younger lol so funny

  175. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    sounds fun, GND.

BG – hope you find some taller men on here!!

  176. gurlnextdoor says:

Good to hear BG, I’m doing good too. I once went out on a date with a SD who was 5’4 (I’m 5’4 and three quarters, lol) and it didn’t work. I only stay with guys over 5’10 for long periods of time though. Anyone shorter than that and it doesn’t work no matter how nice he is. I love some height on a man. :)

  177. SuthrnExec says:

Good evening folks – sounds like everyone did their thing this weekend. Villa, too bad no one was hiding behind a tree with a camera!

BG, I’m niether short nor far away – 6′ and I’m right here! lol

  178. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Hi VC! We shall have to do some trail running together sometime…we could catch each other on the downhills lol! But it’s really not a trail run without the mud right? 😉

BG, well that explains it. I’m 5’6″ and I think 5’9″ – 5’10” is perfect height for my sd…makes us a good match on the dance floor!

  179. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    gnd~ i’m good and yourself?

  180. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

VC~ i have never been with anyone under 6’3″
    first BF was 6’5″
    SD was 6’4″
tried to date he was 6’3″

  181. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha, nowhere really, was just really busy clubbing, getting back with my ex temporarily (I know it won’t last, never does), hanging out with friends, all that good stuff. How’s everyone tonight?

  182. VillaCypris *276489* says:

hi GND ~ where did you go?

  183. VillaCypris *276489* says:

I hadn’t planned on running in the mud, but happened to remember those trails when i got close to them… it’s better for the joints, the soft surfaces… it was hilarious to see, I’m sure… looked stunning after it all dried and was falling off in patches….

Yea, I like my height, but oddly enough, have never dated anyone under 5’9″. just the way it worked out I guess…

  184. gurlnextdoor says:

hey everyone, I’m back…sorry for being MIA all weekend

  185. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Lucky you, guys here are short!

  186. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

VC~ why wear pink to go running in the mud???lol i wish i could have seen you lol it’s sounds funny as Hell…
Only did spring cleaning, actually made a huge mess lol
god i need a maid lol

  187. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    I’m 5’2″…. 5’7″ with stilettos 8)

  188. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Hi SuzieQ !

  189. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

I’m 5’9″ with heel that makes me 6’1″

  190. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Great Beach Girl…

I decided to go running thru the woods/meadow today, and there was still a lot of ice and snow, and much mud as well. I was wearing black lycra running tights and a long sleeved pink tee shirt, so the thought did cross my mind, wouldn’t it be funny if i fell in the mud, wearing pink, would be like “pig fell in the mud”.

Not 20 minutes later, i was coming down a hill, trying to avoid the ice down the middle of the trail, stepped on the slant of the embankment and BOOM! Foot slid on the mud and I totally fell on my ass/right leg/right arm… mud, wet thick icky mud stuck to everything. It was like a cartoon… in slow motion… hilarious. It was even in my hair. I sat there like, what the F just happened!? Then started laughing hysterically. Got up and kept running for another hour. Thank god i didn’t hit my head though!!!!

  191. SuzieQ*297329* says:

LOL BG! How tall are you?

  192. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Why are all the SD so short?
Why do they all live far away?

  193. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

VC~how are you? had a good weekend and you?

  194. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Hi everyone! hope you all had a great weekend! :)

  195. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    See you later Victoria!!!

  196. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m gonna shut down my laptop for a bit and maybe take a nap…then I have to write 3 essays before midnight. So, I’ll see you lovlies later! Au revoir, sugarland!

  197. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ i think young, old , anyone that want to be my SD it’s a go! lol
    if there is chemistry

  198. Katherine says:

Agreed, Victoria. And Lisa, I really enjoy having you on the blog, even if things are tough.. We all go through those times and it’s nice to hear everyone being so supportive.

  199. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Rouge, what was the point of that?

Enjoy your bath, Lisa! And you should definitely return to Chicago sometime! There’s so much more to do here and no shortage of ambition!

  200. rouge says:

henril-louis lies about his age :s
he is around 80 yo i guess
    have a good day girls

  201. lisa says:

oh look I said the forbidden word and didnt’ get moderated, oh my!

I’m going to go take a bath now.

  202. lisa says:

Victoria I just looked at your profile and see you’re in Chicago. I spent my early life in Chicago and Arlington Heights. I sure miss Chicago, great city. I remember we were always going somewhere when we lived there and we never owned a car. I lived over on Sheridan road. Haven’t been there since the year I turned 18 though.

  203. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Good Sunday evening all…what a lovely and well-balanced day I’ve had. I enjoyed a 2 hour ride in cold but sunny weather, so that was my “me” time, then I helped my son do his taxes, so some quality “family” time, tidied up a little around the house for some “there, the kitchen is clean so I can’t feel guilty anymore” time, now here I am to enjoy a bit of virtual social time. Life is good!

BG – hmmm, so you think the younger guys are where it’s at huh? I have to admit, I am a bit leery as my last LTR was with a man 6 years younger than me and since then I’ve thought maybe a more mature gentleman might have a better clue how to treat a lady. But then again, the age may just be a coincidence. I suppose I shouldn’t limit myself! 😉

HenriLouis – your are always and ever so sweet. I hope you don’t think I was ignoring you…I think I’m still swooning from our epicurean kissssssss earlier!

CSB – How was your ride?

  204. lisa says:

she really doesn’t have any special talents and is shy like me. I was the same way when I was her age, stocking away stuff to live in the woods till god returned instead of getting an education. Now my 25 year reunion is around the corner and well the world is still here. I can’t get to the reunion though as it’s 300 miles away. On top of that the area we live in is mostly hispanic people from south of the border whose lifestyles consist of marrying at 14 and having large families. The husbands work day labor and the families get welfare and housing assistance and foodstamps so it’s not like she is surrounded by ambitious people either. There are no professsional people where she or I live.

  205. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Wow…that’s pretty corrupt… There’s no way you can get her out of there and de-brainwash her? I know people in the army that can “retrieve” her… Kidding of course…I’d never ask them to kidnap anyone…lol… But really, that environment/lifestyle never seemed healthy to me. College is important. There are loans and if she’s got any sort of talent, there ARE scholarships. Heck, there are scholarships for people under 4′ 8″, there’s bound to be something for her!

  206. lisa says:

no she isn’t going to college. There is no money to go and not really any scholarships without you;re in sports or stuff and she isn’t. She is deeply religous and preparing for the world to end in 3 years. She is working part time in a school work program but most of her money after expenses goes to church. My mom wouldn’t even let her get some shoes she wanted last week because she couldn’t spent god’s money. The money they give to the church goes to the minister who drives a bmw and lives in a very nice house.

  207. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Does she not want to go to college?

  208. lisa says:

my daughter turns 18 next month and I want her to be her own person, unlike I was at her age, but she won’t be, it’s sad. She wants all these things, a mercedes, nice apt, etc but if she doesn’t go to college and get a good job or find a sd, she will end up living where she is now.

  209. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Hey there, MSB…I’m not totally sure it’s okay to ask someone to get her daugher on SA…

Well, those guys that haven’t replied are missing out, Lisa!

  210. lisa says:

Jeff my daughter is gorgeous. She looks nothing like me. Taller and very slim and an exotic mix of white and middle eastern. She has so much potential but with my mom’s influence (so much that my daughter won’t even live with me) she is a nonstop relious fanatic that has lost all of her friends because of it. No ambition, no goals. I even suggested one time that if she lived with me half the year, I would get 3000 tax return and we could split it and she’d have 1500 to spend or save but she just couldn’t live with a w***** like me for money. My family believes that any woman who has sex outside of marriage is a w**** and deserves to be killed. It is a go nowhere situtation so I have learned to keep my opions to myself with them and just enjoy the limited time I see them.

  211. lisa says:

edit it “shows” me not shoes me.

  212. MALE_Sugar_Baby says:

    Lisa —

Can you tell your daughter how “bad” you are right now, and that you do not want her to make the same mistakes; so, she should start living as a sugar baby now — that she can find a sugar daddy and have a good life?

Do you think that you can change your daughter’s perspective on this?

Based upon what you said, I would like to see her in the sugar world!!!

    — Jeff

Thanks and I actually had the blog pic on my profile because I really like the pic as it shoes me for what I really look like but no one on the blog liked it, they thought it was too busy and one person even mentioned Texas as not being the fashion capital which I completely agree with but believe me I dress better than most Texas women as the majority of Texans are slobs who live in shorts and tshirts.

  214. lisa says:

Ok I just did a system recovery to remove that virus and i’ve lost all my pics and music. I am never going to any strange websites again. I will forget about looking for a photographer. If the potential sds don’t like my pictures, screw them!

I have had the same married lover for the past 4 years and although he isn’t a sugardaddy, he thinks I’m a wonderful passionate woman and afterall he hasn’t lost interest in 4 years so I guess potential sds are missing something.

Victoria I have 20 green checkmarks in my box and no replies.

Sorry about the mispelling Jamisen as I guess I don’t put much thought ot it since every mispells my last name it doesn’t bother me. Heck it’s mispelled on my paystub too, lol Actually my highschool yearbook has my last name at that time (maiden name) completely messed up. lol

  215. Elizabeth 290114 says:

what is lisa’s profile number? she looks gorgeous from her little picture on the blog

  216. Atalanta says:

    Lisa,
    I’d try Craigslist…
Definitely be careful and make sure they aren’t shooting you for glamour shots if that isn’t what you want. Knowing you, I’d think you’d stay away. You can kinda tell what shots the photographer is shooting by the wording of the ad.

But yeah, usually you can find something there.

  217. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

So many green checkmarks in my sent box… No one replied. Know what that means? They missed out. Poor guys. :-(

Okay…I might be lurking for a bit, but I have tons more homework!

  218. Lurker says:

    Lisa,
I think your photos are great, you’re great too and I missed your posts when you ran away!
I’m positive that you’ll find an SD from the blog, since there’s so much affluence lately of both SBs and SDs, you’ll see they’ll be more.
In your case is just a matter of time, trust me!
    Never give up!

At least you’ve got some friends over here, so we can share each other every day problems.

  219. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Oh dear, Lisa, I hope you don’t have a virus! :-( If you’re ever in my city, I have photog friends that’ll help you out! And one guy who’s really good, he’s only 72 an hour and I’m offering in advance to pay! Soooo…if you’re ever here, you’ve got a photog! 😀

    Howdy, Sugars! :-*

  220. OPOV says:

    Lisa

I just looked at your profile (I think it’s yours based on what information I have been able to gleam from the blog) and I think your pictures are more than fine for your profile. You don’t need to go to the trouble of finding a pro to take them. And If I may, make #3 (face shot) the first one and drop the 2nd one altogether.

Other than a few other tweaks, your profile is fine. Having the face pic show up in a search I think would benefit.

  221. Jamisen/305521 says:

I mean, nothing is wrong with your current pictures, but if you really feel the need for new pictures you have to invest more than just giving up because an art school isn’t advertising “free shoots” or “models wanted”.

Think about it, if you were an art student and needing to build your portfolio, you would gladly take pictures of anyone that asked. Many of the bloggers told you of their successes with it!

So you say you will trust a man who wants to be your SD because there is this site. But haven’t we all had duds from this site? It’s probably more risky than calling an art school or posting an ad on Craigslist (where your email is anonymous and you screen the entries for ones that sound OK).

It’s one thing to not see a way out, but another to shut people out who are making friendly suggestions. But I am glad you took the initiative (albeit brief) to search for a free photographer.. I just think you’re looking in the wrong places that’s all…And by the way, it’s Jamisen with an ‘e’ :)

  222. lisa says:

oh no I just googled “photographers looking for models in Houston” and got and clicked on one and the screen popped up that my computer is infected with 2 viruses. I closed the link immediately but something is wrong with my computer now and i’m running the virus scan but it is Norton free trial version and doesn’t even seem to detect cookies when I scan it and the virus stuff I head before always found lots of spyware and this doesn’t so I don’t trust it. I’m afraid my computer is messed up now. I’m going to forget about looking for a free photographer as my computer is messed up now, i’ll have to keep the pics I already have.

  223. lisa says:

jamison, as far as trusting potential sds, it’s actually easier to do because afterall there is this site, whereas I don’t see any sights in Houston offering free photos. Also I would never get on a bus and travel to a stange part of town to meet a sd, I always meet them a few blocks down the street where it takes me only a few minutes to go. I just feel a little akward asking someone to take free pics of me, nothing special about my looks at all

  224. lisa says:

Hi everyone. I’m back spent 3 hours being tortured by my daughter and her hanna mantana dances, lol.

When I google anything to do with photography all I get is schools where you can sign up for classes which are not free and photo studios with no mention of free pics. I’ve never been anywhere near any of the univerities as that is really on the other side of downtown. I live 11 miles from downtown and although I have lived in Houston 22 years I cannot get around downtown without getting lost. Houston’s downtown isn’t like other cities, just business mostly, and only one department store, our shopping is in the malls and Galleria area, not downtown. I don’t have an distinctive features so I don’t see why any student would want to take pictures of me, that is without it was for something about middle age women, lol. When I went to the theatre district open house last August they were taking pictures with the ballerinas and I had one taken with the guy ballet dancer, in his tight blue tights, lol and I looked horrible. I didn’t look slim like I am in real life, pictures seem to make me look fat and I’m only 105 lbs. The lighting was terrible too and I looked washed out, but the ballet guy looked great. I am lost in this city and although the bus goes some places, nothing is close and you end up doing alot of walking from the busstops to where you are actually going.

  225. Jamisen/305521 says:

Lisa- simply google art schools in your area and give the school a call to send a message out to their students, or as OPOV said look if they have a public forum online where you can post an ad online to those students. I think you are mistaken in believing that people who are willing to do free photography only want young models. Often times, that is a disguise for nude shoots anyways. Real photographers will often be not known so they won’t charge anything and have no interest in nude photos. Many would love to do simple portrait shots or something more tasteful and artistic. And if you can’t trust a budding photographer to snap a few photos of you for free, then how will you ever trust any pot SDs that come your way?

Even more so after I have checked that list of aphrosidiacs.
Chocolate is high on the list.
Now I understand that so many SBs confess to be a chocaholic.
MMMMM chocolate and a snowbunny, fluffy and soft with that great quality to touch and stroke.
Wow, I wish I was your boy next door. And this is meant as a compliment.
And Suzie, what a doll you are, not only at the pole but certainly as a wise guru of optimism !
Great how you have tried to bring Lisa up to a higher level.
I really believe that all the good vibes that she gets from so many friends on the blog supports her emotionally.
Yes, I even detect a change in her attitude for the better.
She deserves it, working so hard !
Opov great advice that you just give. Of course there are aspiring art students seeking people to create photos for their portfolio.
And all the photos of young people are just a variety of a theme that has had all the juice squeezed out. Lisa would be a great feature for photos !
Hi Suthern, hope you are having a great Sunday as well.
Time to go into the kitchen to create a nice meal.
    See you later,

  234. SuthrnExec says:

    Good afternoon ladies!

  235. OPOV says:

    Good day all.

To get pics, you can go to the colleges and universities and check out the message boards. This is how we found models when I was in school for our projects. (granted that was 20 yrs ago, but I am sure that there still exists public message boards on campus where people still tack tings up) I’m not from Houston, but doing a quick Google search resulted in a dozen colleges/universities within a 5 mile radius from downtown Houston probably all accessible from your mass transit. I thing you’d find that the school environment would be far safer than your perceived danger from CL.

  236. lisa says:

Hi Jennifer, nice to hear from you. I have to log off now to avoid the family seeing where i’m hanging out, lol
Be back after 5. Hope all is going well with you

  237. lisa says:

I would never let anyone in my home till I knew them well. It just seems like it would be very time consuming to spend time trying to check out a photographer from an annonymous ad. Houston has a high murder rate and it seems everytime I turn on the news, they have found a woman’s body somewhere. I once put an ad in the newspaper looking for work and you wouldn’t believe some of the weirdos that called me. I would wonder if a photographer who was doing work for free would want to bother going through all that with me just to get some less than perfect photos.

I have been to Canada (Toronto) many years ago and remember it as a very walkable city, unlike Houston. If you don’t have a car here, you aren’t getting far. There are many neighborhoods here that fight to keep bus service out of their area because in this city, it’s really the lowest of people that ride the buses, not like in other cities. I was trying to get a job many years ago and had to do a drug test. Unfortunately the lab was not anywhere near my neighborhood and I ended up having to take 2 buses to the other side of town to where they did the testing for that employer. Waiting for over an hour in the hot sun waiting for the bus, ended up dehydrated and needlesstosay could not produce a specifman for testing (this was over a decade ago when they still used urine tests) so I didnt’ get the job as there is a window to get the test and you can’t rescedule as they think you are tyring to hide something or clear your system or something. I think positive and try to accomplish things but more often than not I find myself in an undesirable situation.

I gotta go now. Family is coming over for lunch and I gotta clear my search history because my daughter checks all the websites that I have visited. She and my mom are religious fanatics and would totally banish me if they knew I was on this site. Have a good afternoon everyone.

  238. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Lisa, welcome back. Sorry to hear about your hours being cut. I can’s say things will get better, because I don’t know if they will. Just remember that I am thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers.

  239. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ` you should try the younger crowd too

  240. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ i know it’s funny about the young guys!!! I find it really funny.

  241. SuzieQ*297329* says:

CSB – enjoy your ride…I know I will! See you all later…..

  242. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Lisa, another favourite concept I use a lot….I have counseled my children to use this technique when they wanted something but kept running up against roadblocks. I tell them, instead of saying “it won’t work,” try asking, “how can I make this work?” This opens the mind up to all kinds of possibilities that may never have occurred otherwise.

So just for example, Craig’s list. How can you go from “it won’t work because I’ve heard bad things and I don’t trust the free sites,” to “how can I harness the power of Craig’s list in a way that would work for me (ie keep me safe and get me what I want?” Only you can answer this, but a suggestion might be:

Treat it like SA. Post a very specific ad spelling out what you are looking for. And/or respond to ads that seem to offer what you want. Specify the areas you are able to travel to, or that you would like photos done in your home. If you get any interest, spend the time checking out your pot photographer. Ask for references (teachers, mentors, previous models), ask for a website, basically do all the things that you would do to ensure your safety in any other type of situation like this. If they are coming to your home, be sure they know you will have a friend or two there during the shoot, etc. Just like a real sd, a real photographer wanting to build a portfolio will know that a woman will put her own safety first and these things should not be off-putting. If they are, there is your red flag. They don’t yet know who you are, where you live, or how to contact you, so you are still safe.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? And if you have more time than money right now, investing the time doesn’t really cost you anything.

This can actually be a fun little game that helps bring awareness to how we think. And awareness of our thoughts is the first step to changing them! So whenever you find yourself saying “it won’t work because….” you could try reframing it as “how can I make this work?” You might surprise yourself with the answers you come up with!

  243. lisa says:

Of course we have the beach in Galveston but that’s not accesible if you don’t have a car. I haven’t been in years.

  244. lisa says:

It’s horrible, especially in August and September. You can’t walk down the street without getting all sweaty and so many of the busstops have no shelter so you have to stand out in the hot sun. And if you spend time in an aircondtionered store or office and then go outside, the heat hits you. I have alot of problems getting motivated to do stuff in the summer as the heat just makes me tired.

  245. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

LIsa: I heard about the summers in Texas. I have family in Austin and Houston. They’ve extended invitations for me to visit in previous summers but I refuse to visit in the scorching hot sun.

  246. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Yes, I am. Very nice outside. Gonna go for a bike ride in about an hour or two.

  247. lisa says:

It’s sunny and 75 here today. I will send everyone some sunny warm spring weather. This is the best time of the year here, except for fall because summer is scorching.

  248. SuzieQ*297329* says:

HI CSB…are you keeping warm today?

  249. SuzieQ*297329* says:

Hi BG! I am grrrrreat, thanks! Today it’s looking like it might be more dry than wet here on the coast, so I am heading outdoors for a little training ride with some friends. How’s things in your part of the country? Sounds like you are in demand with the younger set huh? 😉

  250. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

    Good afternoon sugars.

Lisa it’s very good to have you back.

BG: I just added you to msn.

Suzie: How’s the weather out on your coast?

  251. lisa says:

I’m afraid of craig’s list as I’ve heard so bad stories about it in my area. I really don’t trust these free sites. It’s just too annonymous. My hours at work have been cut this week and with my daughter’t birthday coming up and her graduationa and all, I will be struggling to survive. Can’t afford to spend anything for pictures.

  252. Joules*300035* says:

hey Lisa, have you checked CraigsList online? that’s where i get the majority of my modelling gigs outside of my norm producer’s work

  253. lisa says:

    Good morning Suzie

Although HOuston is the 4th largest city in the US, it lacks the features of traditional city like New York or Chicago. We have horrible transport and the city is spread out, meaning that alot of what is said to be in Houston is actually in the outlying areas not accessible by bus and unlike other cities, we have no communter train service other than one rail line that is new and runs from downtown to the sports arenas and back. Not sure that we are known for our photographers either. Being limited in getting around and with so many bad areas here, I usually avoid unknown areas. I have’at seen many photography places here. My neighborhood is very seedy and it’s more like living in central america than the US here.
I googled free photographers and most want something specific like weddings, local sports figures or musicians, something related to what they are interested in and of course Houston has it’s share of nude photographers. Some are looking for sexy young women to model, and that’s not me. I’m 43 and slim but not sexy, not tanned or anything.
I will look for into it this week since i’m off the next 3 days.

I have sent so many messags this past week to get no response. As far as believing something won’t work, well it’s not worked for me. I dont’ know how many times I’ve set out to make a change only to fail. I left home at 39 a few years ago (actually I married at 21 and divorced at 25 and returned to live with my parents as I was having a baby). I moved to have my freedom and do whatever I wanted but find myself not being able to get out anymore due to lack of car and living in a bad area for a single white woman.

  256. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SuzieQ~ i was just thinking about you!
    how are you?

  257. SuzieQ*297329* says:

    Good Sunday morning all!

Lisa, maybe try calling photography schools in your area…often students are looking to build up their portfolio. And this way you will know they are legit. The ones most likely to be wanting to do this are those that don’t yet have an established business, so looking for a photography studio that will do this may not yield the results you want.

A couple of years ago I did this with a recently graduated student and ended up with a DVD full of fantastic professional photos for my business, along with full copyright to use them however I wanted.

And I really encourage you to try to stay open to the possibilities as you pursue this. As someone pointed out earlier, once we start getting pulled into the belief that it won’t work (whatever “it” is) we tend to draw those results to us. So as you dial the phone, just hold the expectation that you will find what you seek. I know all of us here want things to work out for you too….maybe you can even tell us when you are going to call and we can all send our “good vibes” along with yours :)

  258. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

  260. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. Checking out the recent comment list on the side, it looks like the blog is being attacked by spammmers again.

Nice sunny day in Houston. Still no messages. I googled free photographers and didnt’ find anything that was actually free or legit. Some offer free sample wedding photography or baby photography. Even checked glamour shots which offers one free pic but there are only 2 near Houston and neither is actually in the city on the bus line. No I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who does photography either. There are some photo places in my area but they arent’ free at all. You have to be catious in my area as there are alot of fake businesses that are fronts. Being that HOuston is so close to Mexico (380 miles) there is a lot of human traficking here. There have been a couple of “spas” located in my neighborhood that have been shut down because they were fronts for prostitution. I would think there would be alot of that in photography studios too.

Getting ready to go and get my coffee. I’m off today with nothing to do.

  261. HenriLouis*294522 says:

Good afternoon all those sleeping in Sugarland,
Another wonderful sunshiny day it is here.
Been working again in the garden.
Have this perfect line when an SB visits me here.
I’ll open the sliding doors to my garden and say:
    “Come into my garden
“My roses wish to meet you
I have here on my desk an antique encyclopaedis published by Pear Soap.
Then ladies had to understand the “language of flowers”. Receving and giving flowers has a lot of hidden meaning.
I will offer the ladies a “sweet pea” which stands for delicate pleasures.
All kinds of subjects are in it and also a Book of Cookery.
I open the book at random and see Oyster Pate’. Wow this type of food is just what a man needs, to get some stamina for next week.
Another good omen. Some weeks ago I bought a book by my favourite writer Willam Boyd. Three days ago I picked it up and started reading.
    That tile is DREAM LOVER.
That same evening I had a message from them, that started the ball rolling again.
Obviously they have learnt a lot from all the comments of you SBs.
I wish to thank you for that.
They took your advice to heart.
    1. The SD should come to them
    2. Before meeting the amount of sugar is settled
    3. Be open about expectations
    4. Show respect for each other
    5. Meet in a public place
    6. Be intent to make it a success.
    See you later.
    AphrodisiacHenri

I think before I had it written more like what I thought it was expected to be written, but I made it more honest, more personal and sincere. I don’t know…but it worked!

  279. Katherine says:

:( good luck on whatever you’re working on. Maybe take a 10 minute shower. I find those refreshing & I’m always ready to focus afterwards.

I’m turning in for the night, it’s been nice talking to you two :-)

  280. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m so TIRED… I need coffee… And some kind of focus pill or something…

  281. Katherine says:

Victoria: true that. But it seems like he might be gone for good this time :p

  282. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Oh, Jamisen, I’d just block him…

  283. Katherine says:

Victoria: yeah, it did seem a little suspicious. I’m still talking to him via emails, but nothing substantial yet, so I guess time will tell.

Jamisen: what do you mean by “off-limit” topics. I sincerely apologize for being so slow tonight!! I think it’s off to bed soon..
p.s. good job for being so assertive. Way to be!

  284. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    It’s kind of believable… I think I had an alias once… But, I don’t know… It does seem a LITTLE suspicious…

  285. Jamisen/305521 says:

Word of caution- I had a promising pot SD that sent me an email with his full name. He had a great, realistic profile and the first couple of e-mails were good too. I tried to search him, but no records that matched a description of himself that he gave me. By this time we had started chatting on gchat, but the other night he tried to initiate some off-limit topics. I’ve written him off my list of pot SDs, but he has since then tried to chat me up only to provide very brief answers and moving quickly back to the off-limit topics.

Just now he contacted me and attempted to do so again, I confronted him and said that I’m beginning to get suspicious of him. He disappeared. (Just like everytime I try to bust him for approaching no OK topics.)

  286. Katherine says:

*random* Wow. There are some SD profiles of guys who really don’t seem to know what an SD/SB relationship is. Or they just ignore it.. I keep coming across endless profiles of those who seem to primarily be looking for a) a girlfriend or b) an escort or prostitute.

Victoria: true that. I love it when the email automatically has their full name. But help me with this one?: His email address came with the full name, but later he sent a pic with a different name. I asked him what the deal was, and he said that first first+last name is just an alias until he learns that he can trust the person he’s emailing. Is that believable? I found it so interesting!!!

  287. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Well, the few guys I have spoken to all sent me emails on yahoo, and that showed their full names…

  288. Katherine says:

Okay. Thanks. Plus it helps when the potSD wants to meet in the broad daylight in an obviously public place.

There was one pot that sounded soooo good, we had emailed lots.. talked about anything plausible & our interests & whatnot… but then he disappeared when I asked him for his full name. That was weird.. I would expect some sort of excuse…but he literally just vanished haha.
That’s okay with me, ratio = plus one in my favor! (I tryyy to look at it positively lol)

  289. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I…have no idea. I haven’t had an SD and am not sure how to verify them. I guess you just have to listen to your gut…

  290. Jamisen/305521 says:

I recently Googled a pot SD and it took me a while to match his name to a company in his reported line of business in his area. I think the fact that his name and company wasn’t the first thing that popped up in Google made it more believable that he didn’t just steal a name off Google.

So try a general Google search, and if something feels fishy, like his name pops up first for some very large company and it doesn’t really match up what he reports as his income, etc. then it’s probably fake. Use your gut instinct when checking up on a SD.

  291. Katherine says:

OMG I love drag queens for some reason. They always so outgoing and fun, and they’re (obviously) not afraid to be unique. <3 hehe Provincetown is fun.. 😀

Random question: Is the traditional way to verify if your pot SD is legit before your first meeting just to ask for their full name & what they do? How do you even know that’s not just a ploy–something they’ve looked up and whatnot? Is it just a thing of the gut, or is there more that I’m not aware of?
(I know, this is a beaten topic, I’m sorry, but I figure you must know)

  292. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Maybe…I did have a cold recently. I spend too much time with sick friends… RuPaul is a drag queen…one of the most famous. Love her! :-)

  293. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Yea, I want an allowance, but I’d still feel like an escort without the shopping/spa/travel and actually spending time with my SD…

  294. Katherine says:

Jamisen: I hear ya. I would too. And I’d prolly talk to them and ask for something different/something closer to the typical SD/SB relationship (the kind that us bloggers all want & think of), and/or keep searching for another SD.

Victoria: who is RuPaul? Never even heard of the show. And you’re getting sick again?? Weren’t you the one that just previously had a cold?? :(

  295. Jamisen/305521 says:

Sorry an additional explanation came to mind just now: If the majority of the SDs think in that way, it’s not really the traditional sugar relationship and I don’t think they’re as willing to spoil you with shopping/spa/travel trips but rather with cold hard cash which runs into the possibility of making you feel like an escort if sex is involved. Personally, even if there was chemistry, I would feel like an escort.

  296. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

How can RuPaul claim that platinum blonde is her natural colour? I’m pretty sure it’s her weave…

  297. Katherine says:

Oh, that makes more sense. :)

  298. Jamisen/305521 says:

Katherine- From my understanding, great companionship is meant as the great flirting from across the dinner table and not really hang out all day type of companionship. Hookup v. relationship style dates is the dichotomy I’m seeing here.

  299. Katherine says:

okay, Victoria, good point. One night stands don’t involve much of the “feelings” either lol. I take back what I said :p

BG: i love your response lol!!!

  300. Jamisen/305521 says:

    BG- you’ve got mail.

  301. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic~ lol hot is always a good feeling!!! and NSA sex is great too!

  302. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic~ aren’t they hot wow… they are men!!!
    Kat~ hi

  303. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’ve had NSA sex where I had no feelings one way or the other about the person… Unless “oh, he’s hot” is a feeling…

I don’t know about many places, but here in Chicago there are TONS of photographers looking for models.

  304. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Victoria~ i am having fun with this guy, but maybe i’ll get emotional or something and that’s not good , i think i’m already invested in this guy!

  305. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’d rather nap…I think I’m getting a cold. And, I’m kind of taking a break to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race…

  306. Katherine says:

Oh, Victoria–that’s a brilliant idea that you gave to Lisa!!! I nearly forgot about that! There are always young photographers that want as much practice as they can.. So they’ll ask for people to be their subjects. And they tend to do an AMAZING job with the photo-editing and whatnot so that it can go into a portfolio or something. Lisa, do you have any friends or friend-of-a-friend’s that might do that for you? It’s a win win. I know in England there were websites where the photographers asked for free models (or even to pay them!), but I’m not sure about in the US.. hm.

Either way. Or. Maybe you know someone who’s good at photo-shop and they could *fix up* a current picture that you have on your computer.

Jamisen: that’s interesting.. I don’t know how to respond from it besides the fact that I think you have a good catch for a pot SD because of his point of view. But then again how does great companionship + sex not really equal a relationship? If you have sex with anyone, it may not be NSA, but (in my opinion) there has to be some sort of pleasant emotional feelings towards the other. I’m just confused now lol

  307. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Well, if you’re having fun, I don’t see why not! :-)

The first guy I spoke to on here seemed awesome, he was really nice and emailed me first. But then, he just, disappeared. I emailed him to see why, and never got anything back. So, meh…

  308. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Victoria~ lol , you need a minute to think and do something else. When i feel like my brain is fried , i go outside for about 5 minutes than have a coffee, then i go back to studying, I do that every hour now, and i never feel like my brain is fried

  309. Jamisen/305521 says:

Victoria- It’s because it’s the second half to the semester. There’s no sleep until May.

BG- Yea, it seems as though there is a major miscommunication here between the SDs and SBs, despite the setup supposedly allowing us to “lay it out there”.

  310. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

The First guy i met on here, he was so up front and nice, we still mail too!
He;s so awesome though, i really like him and he’s hot!
i think i’d go and see him even if we didn’t become SB/SD
do you think it’s wrong? that i like him so much, he just says the right thing at the right time! should i be talking to him?

  311. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m still studying…still doing homework…still trying to figure out why my brain is so completely fried.

  312. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Jamisen~ it’s so true!! so funny that they all say that
Vic~ hi , how was the studying?

  313. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Good night, Lisa! I hope you feel better!

    Howdy, Jamisen!

  314. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Hmm…sounds like you’re heading into depression, Lisa. Trust me, you don’t want to ignore that, take some time to figure out why you’re feeling that way. Take time to reflect and maybe do some meditation. consider whether you want to talk to someone.

As far as affording a photographer, there are a number of young photogs that look for models to help build their portfolios (so they’re free). Also, depending on where you are, there are some who will happily do photo shoots for free just because you asked. And most of the photos can easily be transferred to disc for you to download to your computer, or even transferred to flash drive! :-)

  315. Jamisen/305521 says:

So it’s kind of related to the original blog topic-

One of my pot SDs (the one that told me his POV on allowance for local v. far away SBs) let me in on another POV of his:

A lot of pot SBs he’s encountered are really just looking for a rich bf rather than a NSA arrangement! I found this odd because from the interaction here on the blog, it seems like every SB is seeing that from the men and that the SBs are the ones who want to keep it NSA.

On the blog we often hear that the pot SDs we’re talking to are looking for a LTR arrangement, but my pot SD said that he thinks most men on the site are looking for “great companionship and great sex”….Interesting?

  316. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Lisa ~ jamisen is right!!!
Jamisen ~ how are you tonight>

  317. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Good night!

  318. Jamisen/305521 says:

Lisa- I agree with BeachGirl. Earlier you made that comment about young 20 yr olds popping up under “similar profiles”. Well I’m 20, but I am nothing like those girls that first show up on there! A lot of those are fakes, just like there are fake SDs too!

Anyways, back on point… I message anyone that has a good profile and is within reasonable distance and I’ve only heard back from two people that I approached. One said that I would be great except for the distance (we now talk more like friends) and the other was into things I wasn’t so game for. Point being that it’s good you’re sending out messages, make sure you’re messaging the people who favorite you, and that we’re in the same boat as you.

We’ll just have to figure out a way for you to get some new pictures, but even then.. I remember seeing your profile once a couple of weeks ago and they were great!

  319. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Lisa~ try again, wether they are 40 to 60 if they answer cool , if they don’t… They are the ones missing out! don’t sell yourself short!

  320. lisa says:

Good night everyone. I’m going to craw under the covers and watch tv.

  321. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Lisa~ I think your in a rut, I don’t know much about you , but i did read some of the older blogs. I think you need to see life in a new way!
look around you what do you see? a living room? that is all yours! a lot of people don’t have a computer or a job, the little things that we most enjoy sometimes we take for granted . Try and see the world like a child. I think your focusing on the negative! we have all been there, i know i have
look at how fortunate you are! you seem like such a beautiful person, don’t let the negatve get to you , you are worth more than that!
your smart, and funny, and sweet, and most of all beautiful!

  322. lisa says:

I don’t have premium so I can’t check who faved me. But back in January I tried premium for a month and got to view those who favored me. Most were non paying members and the others hadn’t been active in awhile. I have tried the younger ones but at 43 I’m too old for that. In real life I am always being hit on by young guys. Unfortunately they are janitors or maintenance men, guys with no cars, lots of babymommas, etc. I can’t even get a 60 year old to take interest on here. I prefer men over 50 as my last 2 relationships have been men in their mid 50’s

  323. lisa says:

I’m not sure anyone will click with me. I feel I am becoming a hollow empty shell of a person. No empathy, feelings, etc. Sometimes I don’t even feel my body, it’s weird. A couple days ago I was at the mall and had went to toss my trash and it just fell out of my hand as I went to put it in the trashbin.

  324. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Lisa~ you know what , i mail anyone that has an interesting profile! no matter the age. I have only gotten good responses 4 times and i’ve mailed a lot of SDs , if he faved you , mail him! the only thing that can happen is he says no thanks

  325. lisa says:

I can’t afford to get any professional pics taken and besides how would I get them on my computer? I don’t have a scanner or memorty card slot on my computer. Only way to get stuff on it is through downloading or a usb stick

  326. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic ~ Lisa ~ i know it’s hard to find someone to Click with, but we will all find someone

  327. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Lol…thanks BG!

Lisa, I can totally try to find some photogs in your area! You can get pro pics that would be gorgeous and fun!

  328. lisa says:

I have been added as a favorite 5 additional times this week but no emails. I just checked and 3 of the 5 emails I sent out have been read but still no response. I have tried contacted out of state sds as my state’s paid member supply is already exhausted.

  329. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Yea, I think “similar profiles” are only similar in that they’re SBs…some of them, I think are phony photos.

I’ve changed my profile, and it’s quite different from when I first joined. But, I’m going to edit it some more later. If not tonight, then after class tomorrow. But, even though I changed it, I’ve gotten absolutely no new messages. Meh, but, as I said, I’m being patient.

  330. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic~ you’ll find someone soon, he will be all you want him to be don’t settle as SE told me before!

  331. lisa says:

my cell phone takes horrible pictures. I have tried taking some new ones and I look fat in the pictures even though i’m 5′ 1″ and weigh about 105. My daughter has a good camera but I never see her and she doesn’t carry it with her to school and work when I meet her once a week. Anyway she only takes silly pictures of me when she does, up my nose, in my mouth, etc, not profile quality, lol and I can’t get pics off her camera on my computer because I don’t have a slot on my computer for a camera memory card. My computer is barebones.

  332. SuthrnExec says:

BG – it was really nice – not many people out since it was a little cool (50s) and raining this morning. I really enjoyed getting outside.

Lisa, we need to figure out how to get you some better pictures. That will be our #1 goal. Once we tackle that one, we will move on to the next step.

  333. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Evening, Suthrn! My Saturday was very early (woke at 7), had a midterm and now I’m trying to do loads of homework, but concentration is not my friend, it seems.

I understand that patience is key, and I do plan on editing my profile tonight. I’ve heard from other SBs that it had taken some of them months, so I’m not being *too* angsty, considering I’ve been here only a few weeks. But, I’m holding on to hope! :-)
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll find a Suthrn, NC, Henri mix…but hopefully I’ll find someone close! lol

  334. lisa says:

I think the “similar profiles” is just a general search. I don’t see myself being very similiar to those 20 year old college girls that post half naken photos.

  335. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    oups golf course

  336. lisa says:

He didn’t seem nervous and was the one that openly discussed everything but didn’t follow up on it. If he’s that nervous, he shouldn’t be on the site, lol

I have changed my profile many times but I still get sporatic response. Not much more I can change or say, that is if I want to come across as the person I am, not a fake. My pictures aren’t the best but I have no camera and no one that I can’t ask to take pics for me.

  337. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Hey SE~ how was the gold course?

  338. SuthrnExec says:

Good evening everyone – how was your Saturday?

I know it sounds like a broken record, but patience is the key to success here. If you go a few weeks or month without any good contact with anyone, change your profile. Look at other profiles using the “See profiles similar to mine” feature and get some ideas. I was on for months, stood up twice before OC and I met, so it sometimes takes a while.

  339. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Aw, maybe he got nervous, Lisa?

  340. lisa says:

I can’t concentrate on anything that I find boring. I am a type A person too so I can’t even sit still long enough to read a book.

When I joined this site last year, I met a man within a week and had an allowance. It lasted a month and although he wasn’t really a true sd, the financial assistance at that time really helped me. He moved though. Met 3 guys after that. Two for shopping, and one that seemed the most serious and actually discussed an arrangement with me and then wouldn’t even respond to my emails. He is still on the site almost a year later with the same profile. He seemed the most serious and even set up a potential dinner date with me and then never wrote again. Haven’t met anyone on this sight since last Sept.

  341. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Good luck lisa! I’m sure you’ll get some replies back soon…and that handbag! 😀 I have to get up at like 7 tomorrow and be at class by 9… and I still have so much homework… It’s all so uninteresting, though… I’m not sure what I want to do…

  342. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Listen i’ve been called a drag queen on here and fat lol and neither lol
so no worries , i’m talking to some guys but…. i’ll have to see what happens

  343. lisa says:

Victoria I agree about putting some of that in your profile as so many men on this site are looking for soulmates and girlfriends. Many think paying for dinner makes them a sd.

Nightmare, oh Nightmare where are your lurking with your wise words of wisdom?

I just wrote 5 more sds and will now wait to be disappointed and rejected as usual. I so much want a Versace handbag. I worked my butt off today and come home to nothingness.

I’m off tomorrow so i’ll sleep till 10

  344. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

lol yeah i can get that i’m not used to it i just know how to :) not even the big smile i don’t know how to do it lol i’m so new to blogging and chat!

  345. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic~ like i said in the previous comment , and read the old blogs, lots of SDs were here b4

  346. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Thanks, BG! I should go change some things… I think I’ll do that later tonight for sure! I suppose I understand that SDs supposedly know I want to be pampered, but with all the guys on here seemingly trying to find soulmates and saying things like “I’m not interested in taking you shopping or pampering you”….it just felt appropriate… But, I may change it anyway. And, ha, I didn’t even realize I’d typed the smilies…it’s kind of a habit…lol… like ellipses… <<see?

  347. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Good luck with your meeting, BG! And congrats on the current pot SDs!

No, I don’t have any potentials, yet… I’m trying to remain patient, though. It just seems to be happening so fast for everyone else…

I’m not sure what kind of insight to give… I’m not totally clear on what I did for Cat, actually…lol

  348. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic~ i just looked at your profile, here is what i think,
it’s great, but if you read past blogs, most SDs dont want you to say that you want to be pampered. they supposedly know. And the smilie faces have to go too. from what others have said it’s not professional.
that’s what i have read on the blog and from others giving out info about profiles . but you are gorgeous!!! wow

  349. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Btw, what inspiration did you use?

  350. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Vic ~ you don’t have a pot SD?
can you give me insight on my profile too! :)

  351. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Victoria~ you need to take a break once in a while…
cat~ good for you , that is sooo cool, i’m meeting my first Sd next week too! one tonight said he would pay 1000$ a month for 1 to 4 dates plus shopping, that’s not a lot but… he’s cute and 28 y/o ! and another yesterday , so things are looking up! and they are all younger , i just don’t get it!

  352. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Glad it helped, Cat! Now if only I could get even one pot… lol

Good luck with your pot SDs! 5 is a pretty good number, if you ask me! :-)

  353. Cat says:

Hey girls, I was a bit bummed that I didn’t have an official SD yet, but being patient is working out! I now have 5 pot SDs and the one who wasn’t showing he was serious, well, turns out I have to suggest things for him to wake up and smell the disappointment. Next week he is taking me shopping, but I am not taking it as a show of commitment. I think it will just be a fun date, because he loves shopping too.

I am finding that I am getting contacted by more serious SDs that are upfront, so Victoria, maybe your inspiration for my profile summary is attracting the right kind of man :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

  354. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Pretty good…very tired… Should be doing homework, but my brain seems to have seized up…

  355. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    shoot
its so much easier to type and talk there
    how are you ?

  356. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    I don’t… I pretty much only have yahoo and…facebook.

  357. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Do you have MSN?

  358. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    younger than me again lol….
    How are you ,

  359. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

i’m good sorry talking to a pot SD

  360. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Aw… is no one here? :-(

  361. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    How’s it goin’, BG?

  362. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

    Hi Girl,

  363. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Bonjour, Sugar Loves! How are you all this evening?

    Henri, you have mail! :-)

  364. lisa says:

Good afternoon everyone. I’m home from a very hard day at work. Didn’t get all my work done in time either. It was hard trying to do the work of 3 people. I got as much as possible done though. My hours have been cut this week as are those of my other coworkers, except management. So I have the next 3 days off and then friday again, so I’ve got the next 3 days free but no potential sd to meet. Free time with nothing to do.

I’m going to eat now. I skipped lunch at work to get as much as I could done, now I’m dizzy and starving.

  365. MALE_Sugar_Baby says:

    Good morning, folks. :)

Does anyone know of where the SUGAR MOMMY are hiding out?
I am a MALE_Sugar_Baby and looking for a discrete SUGAR MOMMY.

    — MALE_Sugar_Baby

  366. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

Good afternoon SB’s & SD’s. I just wanted to tell everyone to have a good saturday. I have a little date (not with a sugar) tonight. Gonna watch some movies & relax. Right now I am about to eat suome yummy shrimp & then start on some house work. =(

Henri – I actually ordered a pole from flirty fitness about a week & a half ago. It just arrived friday. I am very excited about starting my new workout regime. =)

I am so tired!! I didn’t sleep much last night. I would love to take a nap today after all my housework of course….Gah! I can’t wait til tonight…He makes me smile, laugh & it’s pretty good company if I do say so myself. He may not be a SD but…he’ll have to do for now =)

Ok sugars get out there & do something exciting today/tonight. You never know what could happen. You don’t have to even leave the house to do anything. Send some messages…you never know who could be waiting for one certain message. Give it a shot!!!!

Well i’m off to start my boring day….I will be back on tomorrow.
    ♥ ya’ll!!!!

  367. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~have a great day on the golf course
talk to you soon, and thank you
    i’m off as well
    later Sugars

  368. SuthrnExec says:

Well said BG. I only recently embraced the truth of that and am doing my darndest to live it!

I think I will go hunt a golf course now that the rain has passed through. good day everyone!

  369. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~ let write this one again lol, had to think !!! yes i am blonde sometimes!
“Live because we are all born with the same fate, we are all going to die!”

  370. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~ i know how old i am ,no offense taken, at all!!! i don’t feel my age! lol I’m really young at heart! I think age is really a state of mind! numbers are just there to remind us that life is short and have fun, be positive, you don’t know what will happen tomorrow! Live because we are all born with the same faith, not sure how to write that, we are all going to die!

  371. SuthrnExec says:

BG: Certainly wasn’t taking a stab at your age – you’re still a young lady as far as I am concerned. I knew the statement was risky when I wrote it! It’s one of those no-win situations that we men get ourselves into! LOL

  372. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

Fellow~ I am gonna be me, i’m no Actress trust me! If i’m going to share part of my life with someone , it has to be true! right?

  373. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~ lol yes you are right!!! Ok lets say my situation was perfectly suited for me ! does that sound better? We were together for 15 years, split a little over 2 years ago. I won’t tell my pot SDs that he was perfect. If he asks about my other relationship i guess i’ll tell it like it is, but not the perfect part. lol, I hope i do De-Throne Dan really i do! I know i’m older, thanks for that i feel 25 though, and supposedly wiser, But the whole starting again is scary for me! I hope the new SD, who ever he may be, is better suited for me and teaches me new things!! Same guy for 15 years i definitely need something More! lol

  374. Fellow*306995* says:

BG, kudos. Stay true 2 u. Otherwise Y do SA at all?

  375. SuthrnExec says:

BG: Nope, not bad at all – you know what you’re looking for and if he doesn’t measure up, don’t settle. If he doesn’t, then it’s him that doesn’t measure up – no need to stoop down. Having said that, you mention your old SD was perfect – wow – I wouldn’t want to know that if I were the potSD! LOL We all have our good points and our not-so-good points — the guy you’re meeting just might be better suited in ways you hadn’t thought about. You’re older, wiser and your needs probably have changed a bit since you were younger as well, so who knows – he may de-throne Mr Perfect of yester-year!

  376. Beach_Girl*306486 says:

SE~ thank for the boost. I have had an SD , but i was young when i met him and i think i was a little more “crazy” than now. I’m not scared or afraid, just nervous of what will happen, if he’s what i think he is. And when i was with my SD, i never dated anyone , he was perfect! I had everything i wanted and a lot more. I’m not afraid i won’t measure-up, i’m nervous he won’t ! Is that bad?

  377. ~Nico~213385~ says:

ahhhh ~ kewl ~ saw the show recently where she unveiled the book. Forgot about it but would love to get it :) Thank you SE and yes ~ a big KUDOS to OC 😀

  378. SuthrnExec says:

Yes Henri, we will want to hear from you on how your meeting goes.

Nico, I think GND is talking about Patti’s (from the Millionaire Club) book.

  379. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Hello GND ~ what ‘book’ are you referring to?

  380. HenriLouis*294522 says:

Hi Suthern and Lisa and Nico and OC and Beach,
It is past four in the afternoon already over here.
OC have a great day moving to a better place !
I remember when I moved in my bungalow here, I felt like on a holiday.
Ran a warm bath in the evening and just floated.
I baptized the house with some champagne.
And OC marvelous words on the state of the blog. It sometimes seems difficult not to stray. So I will not tell you now that I have been busy in the garden cleaning the garden furniture with a high pressure hose.
The clock is ticking fast now for me.
Just three more days and I am away to meet my first SBs.
I am as happy as a lark and there are butterflies in my stomach.
All of a sudden I find myself catapulted forward.
It is like countdown of the Discovery, before lift off .
I am really at a loss how everything will go, but I am sure it will evolve naturally once that chemistry is there.
You make plans for life, but life overtakes you.
It will all be a pleasant surprise for everyone this adventure.
Fortunately I have this trait to put them at ease with me in a few minutes.
Once the nerves have been smoothed away, we will grow towards each other. Empathy is the key, reach out and touch.
So in the second half of this week, I will not be blogging.
Apart from Southern I believe no SD has ever reported on his meeting.
I think everyone would love to hear from me.
Now off again to the garden.
See you in a few hours,
    HenriLouis

  381. SuthrnExec says:

BG: Some nervousness is expected and is a good thing – it keeps you alert and all senses are finely tuned. But if you’re nervous because of a lack of confidence or afraid you won’t measure-up, don’t be. You seem to be a charming lady and from what one can garner from your profile, a joyful, happy person. Don’t know if the potSD is a novice at this or not, but you are experienced, so be confident. I’m sure it will go well.

  382. gurlnextdoor says:

Hey everyone just woke up, lol. It’s nice to sleep in on weekends. :)

Nico that’s what the book mostly is, it’s common sense! Commone sense that most people don’t use, it just gives tips on how to remember to use common sense even when your head is feeling all fluttery and like “OMG he’s so awesome”. Haha, and it has tips on how to write a good profile. 😉

Henri that sounds like an interesting chaptre, flipping the script as my father would like to say, changing roles suddenly if even it’s only in a dream. My novel is coming along well, I had a thousand ideas come at me all at once it seemed yesterday while at this baseball game. The problem is writing them all down.

  383. Beach_Girl says:

SE~ It is great ! I’m re-reading some of the other blogs too, so i can get a sense of what i’m doing . I know it has been really helpful. Especially when someone messages me , i kinda know what to ask now. I’m finding that a lot of guys, or SDs, are here to find “Love” or “Soul Mates” . I know being in this kind of relationship, you can’t help having genuine feeling for one another.
And yes the bloggers are all insightful, i need to read up more lol, i’m so nervous about my meeting!

  384. SuthrnExec says:

Beach_Girl: No problem – that’s what’s great about the blog – the semi-anonymity encourages people to be honest and open – the key is being respectful. I would not have been as equipped as I needed to be if it were not for the insight provided by the bloggers.

Nico, I think OC is 3 hours behind you – which makes her being up and at ’em all that much more impressive! She is not a morning gal, that’s for sure but today’s her big moving day and she is most deserving of the new place – and she deserves all the credit for stepping out there and making the move right now.

Stephan, thanks for the reminder about the search functionality.

  385. Beach_Girl says:

SE~ thank you , i read the link to the blog that Stephen posted and i’m not going to suspend my search until i find Chemistry and honesty, for me both are important. Had a 30 y/o mail me yesterday! I get 2 replies that are good in no time. It feels great when a younger SD contacts you lol!
OC~ your right , we need to keep the blog respectful, We are all here for the same thing and i think we are all trying to help one another. I know i’ve been reading other blogs and it’s been really helpful to me
Thank you all Sugars for being honest and open to all questions! they help a lot!
    Oh and good morning all

  386. OCSugarBaby says:

If My comment about keeping content of the blog respectful offended you then I have hit my target audience. No I am not the blog police, however new blog’ers need to understand that the reason this was created was to give us a safe haven to go and learn and listen to others who are sharing the same experinece. You found the blog and love it just as much as I do so please take side conversation to another level like IM or Skype. It just helps others be heard with real sugar dating questions. It is showing respect for the tool you so enjoy. :)

  387. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Ditto the sentiment OC and good morning! I do not envy you, having to move but happy for you in your new place. Virtual *high-five*

Good morning SE ~ eastern time zone is good…just awake before most *sigh* Although, as I type this I realize OC ~ you’re 3-4 hours ahead of me???? Yes, by all means, have more coffee 😉

  388. OCSugarBaby says:

Opps I mean Gurl with the book comment. I need more coffee!

  389. SuthrnExec says:

Morning Nico – how’s things in the eastern timezone?

  390. OCSugarBaby says:

Ebony: Books will give you info but common sense will win out everytime!

Wow it is so nice now on the blog you can actually hear yourself think! Peoples comments and quesitons were getting lost on here. Which I found sad. Stephan put so much work into providing a wonderful safe place to go to find info. Lets try to keep it that way. :)

Today is moving day for me! I am so excited to move out of my studio and into my new apartment. I would not have had the courage to make such a change without the encouragement of Southrn. I am glad I listened to him.
    Have a wonderful day everyone!

  391. ~Nico~213385~ says:

    Good morning sugar family :)

  392. SuthrnExec says:

Beach_Girl: Last evening you asked, “how does someone establish themselves as an SD???” By meeting your expectations, whether it be a combination of chemistry, gifts, etc. Since every SB has in her mind what she is looking for, it’s not a definitive list – but it’s what YOU are looking for.

What I meant by that entire sentence is this: until a pot SD meets your expectations of a SD and begins acting like one, don’t cut off communication with other pot SDs. Several SBs have commented on how that stopped communicating with other pot SDs because they were going to meet a pot SD and then he turned out to be a dud. Wait until you know for sure that you’ve met the right person before “suspending” your search.

  393. SuthrnExec says:

Good morning Henri and Lisa – great to see you!

  394. lisa says:

    Henri

My daughter has succumbed to my mom’s influence, just like I did at her age. She once had many friends and now she has none. But afterall you wants to hang around with someone who constantly preaches to you and tells you you’re going to hell? 18 is just a number as anyone who lives with my mom has no rights. My daughter mentions wanting to get a car and go places by herself and mom is already telling her that she will do no such thing as long as she’s living in her home. So she will end up like me. No money or resources to get out, no ambition to get an education or the money to do so. And scholarships are not that easy to get around here without you are a minority or have some kind of athletic ability.

Off to work for me now and I hate getting out in the dark. 2 of the last 3 murders that occured here happened in the early morning when someone was walking to work. Working alone today as my coworkers are off so I get to unload the heavy truck.

    later

  395. HenriLouis*294522 says:

    Hi Ebony,
It seems that it is just you and me now on the blog.
Just got back from my workout in the gym.
Send me a message please to my mailbox.
I was unable to find your profile, this way I get a connection.
Would like to place you in my favourites.
Great idea that you go learn some pole dancing.
It is right in the atmosphere of modern times.
Over here it has become quite popular among girls.
There are lots of contests to win.
I have to rush off again for the week-end shopping.
    Be back later,
    HenriLouis

  396. Ebony says:

    I’m thinking of taking pole-dancing….

  397. HenriLouis*294522 says:

    Hi Gnd,
Tell me what book did you read.
I am always looking for new novels by authors.
Have a box full of newspaper clippings about interesting books.
Nothing better than to curl up and read a spellbinding novel.
My holidays always starts that way, just to unwind.
How is your novel writing getting on.
I just added a new chapter to Guilty Pleasures.
Up till now the thread of the story had a happy tone, but a good novel should reflect life. Life sucks and so on.
So desperate questions should also be in it, such as Where is my SD.
This morning I staid in the twilight zone and had this chapter rolled out before my inner eye, like pizza dough on the kitchensink.
The chapter is called Nightmare. The plot is this dream almost back to the future for all of us here. I am back to being eighteen , so moved backwards in time but all young SBs here have moved forward in time.
You are all SugarMommas waving those greenbacks to me, intent of robbing poor me of my innocence.
OMD, what a shocking turn in the novel.
Am sure it will fascinate you.
    CreativeHenri

  398. HenriLouis*294522 says:

    Good morning beautiful Sugarland,
For Mr Positive it will be a great Saturday as always.
Much sunshine here and spring is in the air, also in my heart.
Bonjour Suzie, my heart jumped for joy at your epicurean kissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssIt really was sensuous and long.
I had some music with it `That´s the way I like it, ah ah`by Cool and the Gang.
In a minute I will be off to the gym again.
I still have had zero reaction about my request for pole dancing instruction.
Today I will ask again, just for the sheer fun if it.
I guess it must be a great work/out combined with grace.
To what music do you pole dance.
Wide smile to my friend Lisa !
Needless to say, for me you were `out of sight, but not of my thoughts.`
So your daughter´s birthday is coming up and it is a Crown Day.
She will be eighteen, a whole new fase in life.
Now she still is that `sweet seventeen and never been kissed` soon she will take a walk on the wild side.
Why not encourage her to do so by giving her that Pole Dance Voucher
that I still have for you on my desk.
    Hope I make you smile,
    KissyHenry

  399. gurlnextdoor says:

Hey everyone, been away from the blog all day cause I’ve been reading my book and found lots of great advice all us SBs can use in our sugar dating. :)

  400. Beach_Girl says:

    Well good night Sugars~

  401. Beach_Girl says:

Fellow ~ i read the profile too!
Jamisen~ got my first SD date next week YAY!

  402. Jamisen/305521 says:

Lisa–glad to see you are back! We missed you a lot. And I understand the whole check-to-check thing. Growing up that’s how my mom and I lived, and now as a student I live loan-to-loan.. but that’s great that you never really had to switch jobs around over the years. It really reflects on your loyalty and toughness.

Atalanta– I accidentally let it slip to the pot SD what school I went to. He knew I was a student in the area, and he had made it clear that he teaches at several schools so it was a big possibility we would overlap but that for him he was never really on campus (and neither am I) so it would not bother him. He asked if it would bother me. But I think he may have been lying about teaching at several schools because as soon as I slipped he went AHA! (literally in his e-mail) and said we should rethink our possibilities.. Like I said earlier I was never even thought the idea of it was “sexy” or “fun” so moving on…

Fellow– on the flip side, I read through every profile and make sure my messages are personally tailored.. and there are never replies. I have better chances with men who approach me.

  403. Fellow*306995* says:

Can’t keep up. 2 many with 2 much 2 write. Wow henri, joules, etc.

Some1 paid 4 trip 2 vegas 4 many gals just 2 meet 4 2 hours? What kind of gals?!!? Vey hard 2 believe.

imo lisa u need change. stasis = death or nirvana & it’s not nirvana 4 u.

most sb dont read profile b4 sending msg 2 me. wastes time. :(

  404. Atalanta says:

    Lisa!

I feel your pain about the mail situation. SD sent a book that was supposed to come today. I checked my mailbox at 3 PM and didn’t see any slip to pick it up. Came back and checked at 5 PM, saw the pickup slip…but the dorm mail office wasn’t open. Definitely angry. Could have had some literature to read. Don’t really feel like going out. Saving that for tomorrow. lol

  405. Atalanta says:

    Haha Jamisen!

Yeah, I could never really date a professor/teacher at UGA. As sexy as it might sound, it just isn’t something you come away with and think…”What a great idea!”
Especially, with the possibility of a sugar relationship, it would just turn awkward at some point. Too close to home, and probably too much availability because distance isn’t really that much of an issue.

What it really comes down to is that I just couldn’t go through with it! haha

  406. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Good night Nico and Lisa! x

  407. lisa says:

I’m going to take a hot bath now. Have a good night everyone

  408. lisa says:

Have a good night Nico and a good day at work tomorrow. I have to work too from 8-4. Unloading truck tomorrow, hard day

  409. lisa says:

I always use the standard deduction for taxes as I never have any deductions that come anywhere near the amount of the standard. I have no savings or disposable money other than the occasional 20 dollar here or there. Will be broke the next few months with daughter’s expenses. That is one of the reasons I want a sd, so that I can get an allowance and save the money to have some sort of security to be able to pay bills if i’m out of work. The way I am now, I live from check to check, miss one check and i’m homeless. Living on less than 800 at the time.

  410. Nico says:

Well, I must work tomorrow so I will be signing off. Much to much to do before my head can actually hit the pillow.

GOOD NIGHT girls and glad to have you back Lisa :)

  411. Nico says:

Villa ~ I have not heard of it but I like it :)

Lisa ~ moving can be a tax deduction *wink*. It is a pain in the a$$ so, I say, IF you’re gonna move, move far and make it worth the expense 😀

  412. VillaCypris *276489* says:

sometimes, you just have to “make the move”… when I was 24, i decided that i wanted to study Arabic… in either Tunis or Cairo… i chose Tunis, got admitted to the program, got on a plane and flew to north africa, knowing no one, for an 8 week sojourn. It was wonderful. Met some amazing people. Travelled to the Algerian border, the Sahara desert, the roman ruins… everyone thought I was out of my mind.. but i will NEVER regret it…

  413. lisa says:

My daughter won’t even spend the night at my apartment, let alone live with me. My mom has her brainwashed and she thinks I am w**** because I had a relationship after my divorce. I love my family and want them close but I have to have my privacy and my own place or I will go back to not having my own life. I live in the fourth largest city in the US, there should be a sd for me somewhere.

  414. lisa says:

I hate moving. I have always been stable with living and work. Have only lived in two apartments in the last 18 years and had 3 jobs in the last 11 years. Moving is expensive and a hassle when you have no one to help you. When I moved from my mom’s, I had to leave everything I had and use up all my savings to buy new stuff.

  415. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Nico – have you seen “what the bleep do we know?”

it’s an amazing film, using quantum physics to explain many phenomena… one of which is that when we ‘fixate’ on a particular outcome or situation, it rules out all other possibilities… and when we are open to anything, more opportunities come our way… fascinating.

yes, Lisa. cost of living differs state by state… maybe your daughter could move as well! make it a family endeavor!

  416. lisa says:

I only moved a mile from my family but the affects are the same as if I had moved far. Since none of us have cars, we don’t see each other much. I would love to live in a different area of town as I have lived in this same neighborhood the whole 23 years I have been here but there is so much more crime in the other areas. My area is high in crime but still much safer than the southwest side. I also have to remain on the same busline in order to get to work and also on the busline that connects to where my family lives. It’s hard for them to get around and since I am not welcome to visit their home, they have to come to me.

  417. Nico says:

oh Yeah!! Rest assured, I didn’t move to Florida to try to find an SD ~ it was definitely a change though. I didn’t have any friend or family etc here when I moved…it was definitely an adjustment no doubt….wouldn’t necessarily recommend it though. I think moving and traveling is in my blood though :)

  418. lisa says:

I could never just move. I can’t afford it and couldn’t leave my daughter. I had enough trouble when I moved over to this apartment, but at least I had the same job at that time. I can’t see myself just moving somewhere where I know no one and have to start a new job. I have a good boss and although the work is hard, I work for a fair company. I know the cost of living is higher in other states too.

  419. Nico says:

I found that to be the same problem in Colorado…..didn’t find a SD until I moved to Florida. He lasted for more than 6 mos but recently ended….my introductory SD if you will. What I have learned is that, like with anything, the more you want it, the less available it becomes. Nothing I could say is going to be anything new that you haven’t already seen or said but I am happy you are back because we are here for you :) *hugs*

  420. lisa says:

I am craving quisadillas. Haven’t had any in such a long time. There is a very pleasant restaraunt that my ex used to take me to that had a outdoor dining area under umbrellas and palm trees. Very nice on a warm evening.

  421. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Have you thought about moving to another state? Is that an option?

  422. lisa says:

nothing is more appealing to me than a guy with a low paying job that drives a junky car and has kids to pay support to. lol And whose idea of a date is going to mcds. I go to mcds all the time by myself and I’m not expected to put out or act like it’s such a treat, lol

  423. lisa says:

I still can’t find anyone one the site that wants to consider an arrangement with me though. I contact out of states and if they do write back, they can’t travel. I have contacted guys in Dallas and Austin and they aren’t willing to travel either. Checking the Texas guys, it’s the same ones over and over and more than half are free members. I have no one left to contact in Texas.

  424. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Hi Nico! :)

Awww Lisa, you would LOVE this drink… it is SO yummy… mm mm mm 8)

  425. Nico says:

Well ~ we’re our own worst critic and while I’ve not seen your profile or photos, many guys on here have commented on your beauty so, while you would want to negate the comment…you’ll unfortunately have accept the fact that you’re beautiful 😀

Once you’re in a new area you’ll find there are many more guys to choose from and these will actually own their own car :) (that runs) *giggle*snort*

  426. lisa says:

I remember when I had my boyfriend last year and we would go to eat and i’d have a drink. We’d stop by the grocery store and he’d buy my groceries and toiletries (actually whatever I needed, I put in the cart), I would be tipsy and have to hold onto the cart to avoid falling over, lol

  427. lisa says:

I’m kinda of limited to daquiris and pina coladas. lol

  428. Nico says:

Evenin’ Villa….I’ll take two please 😀

  429. lisa says:

I wouldn’t know about being beautiful, never been there, lol
I only seem to attract lowlife guys, but then again that’s what i’m around. This is the first spring in the past years I haven’t had someone special in my life. Not necessarily a boyfriend, expect for last year, but the prior years I had a gentleman who took me out and helped me with some of my expenses. My daughter’s birthday is coming up next month (the big 18) along with graduation in May so I need extra money. I want to do something special for her birthday.

  430. VillaCypris *276489* says:

Well, it’d be fun anyways… you could have the drink called “the rich cuban”…. it’s a mojito with top shelf rum, mint, and veuve clicquot champagne. YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! I’d buy it for you…. be your pseudo-SD for the night! :)

  431. Nico says:

Ahhhh ~ yes, sux to be beautiful *winks*

  432. lisa says:

No, I got my computer a month ago today. Last week I ordered a plaid skirt that I had wanted for months from Express and a sweater dress. Was planning to buy them when I met a sd but it hasn’t happened. I found them on clearance (really good prices) and ordered them. They came today but rather than come to my door, the mailman stuck a note in my mailbox to go to the post office because I wasn’t home when he tried to deliver, Liar, I was inside the whole day. I did have an issue with the guy that used to work here as a janitor though. He’s a nice guy to everyone but it seems when you are a woman living alone here, men think you want to get involved with them. He ran into me when I was checking my mail and started talking to me, followed me into my apartment and was trying to ask me out. He has been tyring to ask me out for months but he is a janitor, lives in another dumpy apartment, junky car, not exactly a catch and I just want to find someone that can spoil me a little as I can sit home and watch movies or go to mcds myself, I dont’ need a guy for that.

  433. lisa says:

Good evening VillaCypris I don’t drink much though, only one dates, so well let’s see that would have been last September, lol I need some new makeup and a new handbag, need some shopping and a nice dinner, where is my sd?

  434. Nico says:

YEAH! Lisa ~ good to see you back :)

Is it your computer you’re waiting for?

  435. VillaCypris *276489* says:

I wish you were here in Minneapolis… I’d take you out to the W, they have a fantastic bar and excellent drinks… fun crowd! Would NOT be boring! x

  436. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  437. lisa says:

Good evening everyone it’s me. I will sneak in while everyone is friendly. Beautiful day in Houston today. I’m being overcome by the stench of my downstairs neighbors cooking fumes. Tripas (cow intestines) can’t stink up an apartment and I can’t believe they actually eat them, yuck.
My sd situation: Contacted 2 more sds, read messages, no messages back
the guy that wanted nasty pics of my privates keeps writing me saying that he will spoil me if I will ********************. pervert
Just got a message in my box and it was just some guy from out of state that typed in all caps and his profile is like a novel, got a headache from reading it , lol. Anyway he said if I ever travel to his town to contact him and he will show me around. Reading his profile, he is looking for a nonmaterialistic woman and not into paying for company.
That’s it. I am p*ssed at the mailman. I sat all day waiting for my package from Express and I ended up with a “sorry we missed you” note in my mailbox. How did they miss me when they didn’t even bother coming to my door?? Anyway I will have to reshedule delivery for whenever i’m all this next week which means I will be stuck home all day again as the mail comes at different times. I hate substitute mailmen, my regular mailman would have brought it up to me. Can’t go to pick it up at the post office though cause that would require taking 2 buses (one that only runs hourly so that’s a long wait both ways) and 7 block walk as the post office is out in the boonies, not on the busline.

Have a good night everyone. I’m bored as usual.

  438. Cat says:

Nico: I have always been clear and honest with him about my expectations, I’m not the pushy type, so if he can’t act on his own, I’m not sticking around…I will give it another week and see, but I really don’t know at this point.

  439. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Good luck Beach Girl!

  440. Beach_Girl says:

Thanks Nico , i’m actually reading the link to the blog that Stephan sent it’s really helpful to me! and should be to all new SBs with a first date, like me!!

  441. VillaCypris *276489* says:

    Good evening…. happy friday night!

  442. Nico says:

Remember ladies that while we expect certain things of our SD’s it is equally important for you to communicate your expectations, which he will not know otherwise.

Every woman, every SD, every expectation and every arrangement varies ~ even if only subtly. I wouldn’t necessarily give up on this gentleman if it is you that have been unclear about what you want/expect out of your relationship.

  443. Beach_Girl says:

Thanks Stephan i really need that link ,
OPOV~ thanks , i’m not sure what to expect, i was with an SD for 15 years and it just happened, so…. i’ll go read the blog!

  444. Cat says:

OPOV: Ok, thanks. Oh no, that’s not what I meant, I was just trying to say that I’m in no rush to settle. I appreciate your advice and input :)

  445. Cat says:

Sassy: Yeah…Timex might be okay if he goes on a camping trip and doesn’t want to ruin his nice watches…I’ve seen that a lot, as I used to work in jewellery and watch sales, but usually men with good taste who are wealthy have nice timepieces….But don’t be fooled, many wealthy people are frugal and prefer to not show off.

    IMO = in my opinion

BTW, never assumed you were desperate, just have some inexperience in these affairs. It just takes a bit to get your footing and know when someone is bullshitting you. You have a good head on you shoulders, I have no doubt you will be ok in the end.

  447. Cat says:

Thanks Stephan :) I think I might need that!

  448. Cat says:

OPOV: I am new to this, but not desperate. I just really connected with this guy and I thought things would move along, but they haven’t. What does IMO stand for? Oh and I have a pretty good idea as to why he is doing what he is too…and I’m not going to let it continue like this. He will either step up to the plate or I will keep moving along…

  449. sassypersonalasssitant1978 says:

    Cat,

Ya, I have to tell you…he is high maintenance…and that is just on the phone! Can you imagine!! Holy Crap. :)

If it feels like it is too much work, then it just isn’t working…ps real Sugar Daddy’s don’t wear a Timex….seriously, I don’t wear a Timex!

Is this being Catty?? Perhaps…but honesty, sure is refreshing!

    -Sassy

    PS Thanks Cat!!

  450. stephan says:

All: The blog has a great search tool (hosted by google)!

For example: If you want advice about a 1st date with a sugar daddy or sugar baby, type: “1st sugar daddy date” into the search bar (located on the right side of the main blog page, right above RECENT POSTS), and you’ll see previous posts like these:

    http://www.seekingarrangement.com/blog/?p=130
    http://www.seekingarrangement.com/blog/?p=130

each of those posts has advice from dozens of sugars past & present about “1st sugar daddy dates”.

    Happy Friday 😀

  451. OPOV says:

Beach, I believe everything needs to be worked out by the time the first get together is over.

  452. Cat says:

BG: So far, I have met one man and he took me out to lunch a few times…that’s it. No gifts, no money, no shopping. Maybe I just got a dud…
I think that a real SD, on the first meeting, shouldn’t be expected to offer anything but dinner. Thereafter, if there was chemistry, he should know what is expected of him and do it, because you’re obvioulsy conscious of what might be expected of you :) I should really take my own advice and dump the pot SD that I have already met…

  453. OPOV says:

Cat: agree with the gentleman from Georgia (or wherever south he’s from) you can pretty much tell if there is a connection relatively quickly, 2 or 3 dates would do it IMO. I can guess as to why he keeps stringing you along, but I’ll refrain from denigrating someone I don’t know.

Each SD will approach the situation differently. Some will come in eyes wide open knowing it’s a “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” situation and others will still be walking around with blinders on, not really seeing where they’re headed. This causes hesitation with some. Others can’t separate the SD/SB world from their own personal experiences and can’t get beyond the “I cant pay somebody to date me” mentality or confuse it with prostitution – men treat the ladies as such and many escorts are working this site too. Cat, from reading a bit I believe you are a little new to the scene; it takes a while to figure out what’s bs and what’s real. This is called experiences and you only get them AFTER you experience them. It took me a while.

Concerning your particular situation, the time he is taking to start the arrangement is taking longer than it should. Based on my personal experiences, I pretty much know after we first meet and if i is there, then it will start right there, a little something at first so she knows I am serious and then filled out on our next engagement.

  454. Cat says:

Sassy: Wow…this guy is obviously NOT a real SD. Step away from the fake!

  455. Beach_Girl says:

SE~ how does someone establishes themselves as an SD???
oh and i have my first meeting this monday not too sure what i should do ? Help please, what do you do? what to expect ? do i tell him what and how much i want right off? (usually i don’t like to play around)
What have you all done on first meeting?

  456. Cat says:

SuthrnExec: I know…that’s what I’m doing. I’m meeting someone else next week. I think the next guy is much more straight forward and honest. I appreciate that much more than to be lead on and used.

  457. sassypersonalasssitant1978 says:

    Greetings and Salutations Sugar Family!

TGIF!!! I haven’t found a SD as of yet. I do have a pot SD that seriously uses me for advise…not too sure what the heak that is all about? It’s like a late night texting call!!

Some of the “arrangements” that I’m approached with, well they simply make me sad. Isn’t there anyone who wants to have fun! Why do most men make EVERYTHING so very complicated? **For example the pot SD says to me that he is considering giving this one SB(long term) the boot because he feels as though he can’t trust her…my response, “You should take her shopping, and show her some apprec.” His response is that he already pays her an arrangement of 200.00 per week. Now, I don’t know about you ladies, but I would rather get a part time job, than put up with games!! His response to me about the shopping….is that this may be my lucky week.
Calling all SD…seriously if there is a gentleman, with class…we should talk! haha

I’m getting use to it, and I LOVE reading the blog…a wealth of knowledge, and plenty of smiles and laughs! I thank you guys for that!

**Well, I’m hitting the books, it is a lovely Friday night!

    -Sassy

  458. SuthrnExec says:

Cat, I will chime-in if I may. I would not approach it that way. I know after the first meeting if there’s chemistry and if we mutually want to move it forward. It certainly doesn’t take several meetings. Each person is different and maybe he is looking for the perfect situation and perfect chemistry – don’t know, but it seems a little unusual to me. If you want, meet other pot SDs if you want – until someone establishes themselves as an SD, I would keep options open.

Hello to my Canadian sugar sisters, hope you’re all keeping warm and toasty on this first official day of Spring! Here on the west coast it’s raining, so Spring is definitely here. Oh wait, it rains all winter here too. But not this year. This year it snowed all winter. Right, so it must be Spring now! :) :) :)

And welcome to the newest sugar bloggers, nice to have so much lively discussion!

Indeed this is the Tower of Babble !
Hi, Victoria, I would love to read your poem.
Send it to my mailbox, will you.
We’ll trade and I shall send you one of mine.
Couldn’t we have here a kind of poets corner ?
Joules, keep up that daily list “things to be greatful” and it gives you strength. I once did it myself. You might also strike twins !
Fast & Fabulous, I like your song, melancholy.
Saw also that tempers can flare here. Hope my twins will take it easy on me. I love twins but two vixens will make me jump out of the window.
Lovely name Carrielou sounds like the wilderniss of Canada.
And then somehwere I caught the expression “stupid question” the correct term is wise question. After all wasn’t it Socrates who said:
Wisdom starts with the word WHY ?!
You have a little girl inside you and I have a little boy inside me and this little boy keeps on asking why ?? You develop your personality then.
Hope you will remember the Socrates Wisdom.
And Tony, every girl here follows the slogan : If you have got it, flaunt it.
Most feminist here will allow you to do the same for that SugarMomma.
Sugar Mommas peek at 40 in their desire for activities between the sheets,
    according to the McKinsey Report.
You know life is like a comic strip to me. I keep on laughing.
Have you ever realized SBs that in twenty years time you will return to SA, but then disguised as a SugarMomma.
So make haste ! Seize the day !
Hi, Opov pleased to meet you, I admire the way you express yourself.
Then the difficult words in the text.
I am an epicurean = a person devoted to pleasure, esp. refined senuous enjoyment. You can find it in my profile, great kisser, it says.
As for “trifecta”, this lexical item (word) does not exist according to the COD. I believe the person who invented it had it as a pun:
    tri = three
fecta – fare = to do
    So he wants a threesome.
Come to think of it, I am a pot epicurean trifecta.
    Aren’t we all ?

Oh and in the meantime, he wants to see me almost everyday, so it’s not like he isn’t getting to know me…

  462. Cat says:

OPOV: Question…how long do you usually take to get to know a pot SB before you start spoiling\treating her like your SB? I have a pot SD who I have met with a few times, just casually meeting for lunch and he wants to wait for us to go away for a weekend together to get to know each other better over a few days, rather than just meeting for a few hours here and there. It sounds reasonable and I understand, but in the meantime, he hasn’t even shown any interest in pampering or spoiling me. He says many things, but hasn’t actually done anything at all. I’m not desperate and I haven’t suggested he take me shopping or anything like that because I think that’s rude. I just don’t want to waste my time…

    Sorry, sent while editing:

Also, wanted to comment on something said early this morning about “hiding the money”: banks will not raise any flags if cash deposits are made for less than 10k. More than that and paperwork needs to be filled out. If there is a concern about IRS stuff, you could always go on his company payroll or even get listed a a consultant and get 1099 at the end of the year. This shows a legitimacy to the pay and also helps establish “employment” if it is needed for some credit/loan issues down the road. This is how I had my previous relationship setup as her being a personal cinsultant. She was happy and I was happy.

BTW, love Chicago. Haven’t really been there in about 15 yrs. It’s changed a lot since the early 90’s.

  526. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Eeeash! Well, those practices right there explain why it is so difficult for us to sell any homes and jeopardizes my job *sigh* The prices are good and very very very competitive but the banks are the ones putting the brakes on things.

I was fortunate that I didn’t have issues with my home…don’t know how I managed to escape such scrutiny but I did and am fortunate…to have a home and a job.

  527. Gail says:

HAPPY SPRING SUGAR WORLD….I am looking for cute bunnies and chicks today…and here we all are:) Yeah….I love it when things are positive:)

Coffee for you Nico:)….Villa would you like a cup to start your morning?

    Victoria…your tea is brewing:)

And yes everyone…I will let Lisa know she is missed.

Okay…I know need to get up from this computer and GO!

Later everyone!!!!! Have the best day ever!!!!

  528. NC Gentleman says:

Yeah – it is the typical over correction to the former lax lending process. The bank I was attempting to work with wanted three pieces of identification to confirm it was me because they didn’t believe I was looking for a loan. I had to send them a copy of my original social security card. They were also flabbergasted and actually quite abusive about not having my 2008 tax returns complete. I told them I own four companies, and file income tax returns in seven states — it takes a while to make that happen. The half-heartedly accepted that explanation.

  529. OPOV says:

Good morning to some of those I met last night and a hello to those signing on this morning.

Can someone find a sugar situation from this site? Yes. I did. Last July I met someone and we had a relationship thru the holidays before it ran it’s course. No regrets, no laments. After a few months just chillin’, I am back on the site. I wouldn’t be back if I wasn’t sure of the results. It just takes time.

One thing I have noticed is the increase of listings/profiles. There is certainly a need from some parties out thereReading thru a few it seems that there is a “need” from many women looking to hook up ASAP: it is best to proceed with caution in these matters than to jump into something due to pressures. Like one profile I read this morning – “Never thought that I would be here but things suxx right now. So here I am… Ready or not. ” Someone like this is probably not so sure of themselves or why they are even here, and can be easily taken advantage of due to her angle on these relationships.

  530. ~Nico~213385~ says:

YEAH! NC ~ I really do love our little family and how easy it is to be so happy for each other’s successes!!

Are you going to fly to Texas then?

  531. ~Nico~213385~ says:

NC ~ doing some research today about the market and sales etc ~ more specifically in my neighborhood but I am not limiting my search to this area. Seems as though home sales in Fort Myers (just north of Naples, FL) are up 100%.

A quote from the article, “However, another vital part of our recovery is for banks to recognize that the need to work with the Realtor community, and their borrowers to facilitate a short sales – as these numbers clearly indicate that when a property goes into foreclosure, everyone loses.”

The banks are overwhelmed and overprotective and while I can’t say that I blame them much, unless somebody reaches out and takes a chance, not much will change for us :( Sadly

  532. NC Gentleman says:

Good morning Nico — congrats on your potential. I talked to mine yesterday — we are trying to get together next week wooohoooo!

  533. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Hey there, Nico!

  534. NC Gentleman says:

Hey SE – I was actually shocked about the mortgage process. I have an 800+ credit score and have the capability to pay cash for the house, but it was extremely difficult to get a loan. It was like an inquisition. It became quite clear to me why people aren’t buying houses — what a mess.

  535. ~Nico~213385~ says:

Good afternoon NC, SE, Gail, Victoria, and Lauren!!

    Busy blog last night.

Gail ~ would LOVE some (more) coffee thank you! Please let Lisa know I miss her too.

Things are looking up in my little Sugar World ~ beginning of April should be the tell tale time whether my Prince has come. *fingers* crossed and not sharing too much out of fear of jinxing it ~ however, this comment is to Lauren. YES, it absolutely happens as I’ve had an SD before but there are sooooo many factors that the right one is not always easy to find. Patience is the best advice *hugs* and good luck.

NC: tell me about it. I did the same thing with something else a few weeks ago. I could actually make money by leaving the cash where it was and finance it but when it got bogged down in all the other sh*t, I said screw it! Over-all it cost me more to pay cash, but I got impatient.

  540. NC Gentleman says:

Funny you say that SE about the mortgage company — I was attempting to get a mortgage because money is so cheap, but I gave up and decided to pay cash — it was fricken unbelievable.

  541. SuthrnExec says:

Yes, Gail, it was pretty BAM (for me anyway) when OC walked through the door! Can’t speak for her though. :-)

NC, good for you man. I recently did some re-financing on some property and it took a little longer than expected – the mortgage companies are swamped apparently. I know you’ll be relieved when it’s all done. Then it’s time to go to work!

Victoria: No I didn’t but I’m not surprised since it’s be sold a time or two and Sears hasn’t been in it in years. What’s the new name?

  542. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Well, I’ve only been here since the beginning of this month, so I’m being patient. I know these things take time, and until then, I’m not losing anything, but gaining lots of interesting new friends and acquaintances!

See Lauren….there you go…ask the question and who else would pop in and answer…..anyone specific Suthrn? (smile)

Victoria..wow…you really are nocturnal:) I am hoping that you find one too!!! And I know that you will. I say this because I think back of alot of new SB that are looking in the beginning…and then a couple months later BAM!!!…..lol…..kinda like Suthurn….

Suthurn…was it BAM for you? LOL!!!

  545. NC Gentleman says:

Hi Southern — hope you are doing well. I am closing on the lake house in a few weeks wooohoooo!

  546. SuthrnExec says:

    Western Tennessee

  547. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Where in the south? I love the city, but am excited to be going back down to MS for the summer…

  548. SuthrnExec says:

I’m doing all right I suppose. I used to live in Chicago – for about 10 years, before moving back south. LOVED Chicago – next to So Cal, it was may favorite place to live.

  549. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Good morning, Suthrn! How are you today?

  550. SuthrnExec says:

Good morning Gail, Victoria, NCGent, and Lauren!

Yes, Lauren, there are ladies on here who have found an SD. It doesn’t happen immediately (usually) so just hang in there, hang out with us and be patient.

  551. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I have not, but I’m holding on to hope! 😀

  552. Lauren Renee says:

I was wondering if any of the ladies on here had found a SD yet

  553. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Ooh, coffee would be great! Of course, I’d prefer tea, but caffeine of any sort would please me at this point…

And as far as nightly energy…I’m pretty much a nocturnal, so I’ve pretty much been up almost every night since I was five… And sometimes days… Of course, the longest I’ve stayed up was only a week.

  554. NC Gentleman says:

Hi Gail! My singing actually gets better the more I drink, but maybe that is just perception on my part :)

I might be going to Texas next week for a meeting — trying to line up with the pot-SB also. The week after that I have New Jersey and Greenville, SC. I also have a trip to Providence/Boston in mid-April (looks at Hgirl). Just a regular road warrior!

  555. Gail says:

LOL….you two and the a pack of cards:) Naked? Who first? LOL!!!

  556. Gail says:

    Good Morning Sugars ,

I am sipping my coffee this morning, doing my last minute things, as I am headed to Vegas today! Anybody want a cup?

Victoria-I was invited to play poker the last time I was there. But I just couldn’t see myself losing money especiallly if it wasn’t mine. I love the action at the craps table though.

NC-How are you doing? Where are you traveling next? I am sure a nice SB would love to meet you in the next city. I am like that too in regards to the singing, can’t karoke for the life of me. But I sure have fun trying:)

Welcome Lauren to the Sugarland:) It just takes time to find a SD. But stay with us on the blog and you can make great Sugar friends.

Wheew! The nite bloggers where do they get all that energy?

Summer!!! Great to see you back. Lisa stopped blogging due to some not so nice comments from others:( We are trying to coach her back soon:)

  557. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

😀 Good luck, but I’m usually pretty lucky! Before you know it you’ll only have cuff links to spare!

  558. NC Gentleman says:

Yeah — I don’t go for strippers and the ones they hire usually double as escorts, which is totally not my thing.

I definitely prefer the challenge of “beating” the clothes off — game on!

  559. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Why would you pass on strippers? Are they not to your liking? And if you say they’re not, do you prefer beating the clothes off of ladies during strip poker? 😀 Cause, I’ll learn, and win.

  560. NC Gentleman says:

perfect — let’s play strip poker then! 😉 I love playing texas holdem — there is a regular group of guys and we get together about once a month or so. I pass on the months that they hire strippers!

  561. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Aw, I’m sure your singing is…decent enough. 😀 Ooh, I’d like to play poker…considering I just learned back in December. I’m terrible at it! lol

  562. NC Gentleman says:

Doing well — it has been a long work week so I am goofing off a bit today. Playing poker tonight…. people tell me to stop singing too, but not because I am loud it is because I suck at singing :)

  563. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m pretty good NC…just studying… I was singing but my friend here says it’s too early for loud singing…. And singing’s not as fun if I can’t belt out the songs… How are you, sir?

  564. NC Gentleman says:

Hi Victoria — how are you?

Lauren — a successful SB/SD relationship is very difficult to obtain. To me, it is even more difficult than a regular relationship because you have the added factor of non-traditional expectations and financial aspects. Hang in there though! Seems like Chicago would be a pretty good city to find someone, but maybe this economy is making things tougher :)

  565. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Lol…agreed Lauren…

  566. Lauren Renee says:

Trying to find a SD in Chicago is harder than finding a perfect pair of jeans.

  567. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Morning, NC!

  568. NC Gentleman says:

Good morning everyone! Hi and welcome to the group. It took me about 8 months to find an SB on here. It can take a while. If you give us your profile number, we can look at it and make suggestions — that may help :)

    Best wishes in your search!

  569. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Hey there, Lauren!

Well, there’s lots of advice to questions you may have already in many of the blogs…reading through those will help, I’m sure! 😀

  570. Lauren Renee says:

    Good Morning Everyone!!!!
I joined this site about a month ago and still no luck. Does anyone have any good advice?

  571. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Hello, sugars! Anyone here?

  572. Summer says:

    Mornin’, Ms. Victoria!:)

  573. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    😐 …

  574. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Sleep well, Cat! See ya later!

    Morning, Summer!

  575. Cat says:

Anyways, sweet dreams! Loved chatting with you :)

  576. Summer says:

    Morning, all!

Hey – what happened to Lisa? Haven’t seen her around the blog in awhile.

Hopefully she found her SD and is enjoying many happy hours with him.:)

Not to hijack this, was just curious and haven’t been reading the blogs much lately so I wondered where she’s gone?

Lisa — you still out there, girl?

  577. Cat says:

It’s like the Texas of Canada…it’s a beef province lol

  578. Cat says:

    Edmonton, Alberta

  579. Cat says:

I am so exausted…I’m going to bed…I’ll probably see you on here tomorrow night since we seem to be the only ones who stay up late.

  580. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Chicago, you?

  581. Cat says:

    What city are you in?

  582. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Bah… Do you play computer games? Like, the Sims?

  583. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

It’s great being blunt…of course, the southern miss in me censors me sometimes. :-)

  584. Cat says:

    Ohhh yummy!

Ya, I can be pretty blunt sometimes too…but I find that instead of it being a turn off, people actually appreciate it.

  585. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I have some homemade tea with lavendar in it, as well as rose hips and some other stuff…it’s chamomile based. I love it!

Politically correctness makes me laugh…and sometimes, I don’t know what’s PC, so I just say what I want…sometimes, I DO know what’s PC, and I still say what I want…lol…I can be rude sometimes…

  586. Cat says:

Wow…look at my spelling…I type like a retard…I mean I write similar to a mentally challenged individual :)

  587. Cat says:

LOL I lover the politically correct term! I can’t stand how everything has to be so politically correct now…nothing can just be what it is.

  588. Cat says:

Have you ever tried Lavender tea? There is this brand called Revolution, and they make Lavender-Bergamot tea…add a bit of honey and it’s amazing!

  589. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

That’s awesome! I used to not label myself…then, everyone else decided to label me…so I was just like, what the heck, sure! But generally I’ll tell someone “I’m an equal opportunity lover!” lol

  590. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m the same way…except for the pearls…I LOVE tea and antiques, though! Ooh…I should get some tomorrow…

  591. Cat says:

    I don’t even label myself…I like women, but I love men! It’s nobody’s business who I play with :)

  592. Cat says:

LOL. I know! I actually love tea…I’m like an old lady in that I love tea, a antiques and pearls lol

  593. Cat says:

    I can’t use the Emerson quote…too long :( It was my fave…

  594. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    LMAO! A thank you note in cursive… Niiiiice…. I want a tea party…lol

  595. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

No, but I have lots of gay friends, and I am bi.

  596. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Beauty comes in all sizes, not just size 5. ~Roseanne

I don’t like standard beauty – there is no beauty without strangeness. ~Karl Lagerfeld

Beauty – in projection and perceiving – is 99.9% attitude. ~Grey Livingston

Is it obvious I’m having fun with these? lol

  597. Cat says:

    Are you gay?

  598. Cat says:

YouTube: “Tea Partay” by new england gangsters…:)

  599. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m rarely ever offended by anything…except really mean gay-bashers… they make me sad.

  600. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

“Beauty is not caused. It is.”

Tell them dear, that if eyes were made for seeing,
Then beauty is its own excuse for being
    ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

  601. Cat says:

Oh I know where I got “I keeps it real” from…you have to see this videos…too funny…well, I dont know if you’d be offended by rich conservative white guys rapping…

  602. Cat says:

I’m just being stupid…I’m overthinking it and i’m only coming up with…blah. You seem very good at this!

  603. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Yea, that may be a little to violent…lol

  604. Cat says:

LOL I love the 2 one about the black one 😀 Too ballsy maybe?

  605. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Lol… Cause I keeps it real… Whatever floats your boat! 😀

  606. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

“The true beauty of a woman is her inherent ability to make better a man in every way.” <<< one of my favorites…

  607. Cat says:

Maybe I should just write “Cause I keeps it real…” I’m sure all the CEOs will love that…

I’m not good with words…not tonight anyway!

  608. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

“Pretty is something you’re born with. But beautiful, that’s an equal opportunity adjective.”

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.”

“We live only to discover beauty. All else is a form of waiting.”

  609. Cat says:

Wow…that’s nice. I don’t know if that would make them think i’m looking for a bf though…

  610. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Hmm… “The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart.”

  611. Cat says:

Hey, I’m changing my summary line and I want you guys’ opinion about what would attract the right kind of man…

Something that includes beauty…maybe looking past looks or something showing that I’m genuine…

I think it’s hard to write a profile in complete proper English without sounding all philosophical or like a robot. I want the person who reads my profile to see me for me, not good grammar and a pretty, cliche description of myself.

  612. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Night, Joules!

    😐

  613. Joules*300035* says:

alrighty, i’m going to lay down now.

for those of you that have me on ur myspace friends, i just wrote quite the disturbing blog! it’s beautiful in its own way though.

it’s the first time i’ve written so freely like that in YEARS

sorry everyone else, it’s not quite something i plan on sharing with the blog; too personal and too many people that will interpret it the wrong way!

i’m ‘happy’ to be alive; just have a lot of death surrounding me anymore *shrug*

Anyone that wants to keep an open mind though and read it is more than welcome to ask me and i’ll get it to you in private.

i’m goin to sleep though now and will check the blog responses to this comment i’m posting when i wake up

    goodnight everyone!

  614. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

😐 <<<my new favorite lurker face

  615. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Night, Y&F!

  616. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

My range is pretty open. If it’s good it’s good! *l0l* Well sugarland…I’ve got to send an e-mail to a pot. then take my butt 2 bed….Gotta long day 2mor….I will probably be back on 2mor night or sunday….Talk to ya’ll soon!!!!

  617. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Yea, I’m the same way…music is life….

Of course, my preferences are very different! :-) I’m more of a soft rock/hard rock/metal/alternative/etc. (rock) type girl…with a healthy dose of R&B thrown in the mix and classical and foreign music (Japanese, French, little German)…

  618. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

My favorite music is r&b & rap. But I love music just in general…I even have sets of music notes tattooed behind my ears =) Music is a big part of my life. When I have a bad day or something bad happens or even good things I always turn to music.

  619. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

Not until just now…I just looked her up…I’m not to sure if I like her or not…I’m on the fence…*l0l*….Normally I don’t listen to alot of music like hope, sia & others of that type of genre. I just so happen to have a couple songs by feist & some others.

  620. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Have you ever heard of Sia?

  621. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

She has some other really pretty songs to….bring me flowers…who am I to say…& a couple others

  622. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

It’s a really good song….she’s got an awesome unique voice…very soothing….I have a song for any kind of mood any kind of situation. It’s crazy how many songs I actually have & know. I’m like a music dictionary. *l0l*

  623. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    It’s really pretty, Y&F! 😀

Of course, when I’m in my down moods (which I think I’m heading to…), I prefer to listen to depressing stuff…give myself a good cry…

  624. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

You can hear it on playlist.com

  625. Joules*300035* says:

i’m thinking maybe i’ll have to find my “What I’m Greatful For Today…” notebook (the one i mentioned to Lisa a while back)

  626. Joules*300035* says:

sounds like a cool song, i’ll have to d/l it BUT it sounds like it’d make me feel worse lol

i’m not very much into anything that has such a down and out (aka whiney) tone to it lol

  627. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

Joules – I’m sorry about everything your going through….Maybe we should make our shopping trip earlier….*l0l* Everything will get better I promise….

This is my favorite song to listen to when I am down & in a bad mood.

Hope – The rain don’t last …..Here are the lyrics also…Just so you could see why. =)

Could it be the world’s gone colder?
    Baby, I’m a losing soul
The more I try it just gets harder
And my pain is getting old
Somebody said that nothing lasts forever
Just the storm so I’ve been told
But it seems that when it rains it pours

    CHORUS
And you know the rain won’t last forever
And you know the storm won’t always flow
But if the sun don’t shine forever
    You gotta let it go

    2ND VERSE
Sometimes my burdens get so heavy
And it seems too hard to bear
    Sometimes I feel so empty
And it feels like no one’s there
Somebody said that nothing lasts forever
Just the storm so I’ve been told
But it seems that when it rains it pours

    CHORUS x 2
And you know the rain won’t last forever
And you know the storm won’t always flow
But if the sun don’t shine forever
    You gotta let it go

And you gotta let it go…
And you gotta let it go…

  628. Joules*300035* says:

    still here too

  629. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Well, I’m still here, Y&F. Kinda lurking, willing to chat… :-)

  630. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

All that reading made me a bit tired…*l0l*….Everyone decides to go 2 sleep when I finally get on…tehehe….It’s 3:45am where I am….& I really should go to sleep…but I got a couple of e-mails 2 reply 2… =) One I have yet to see a picture but no biggy & the other is very cute!!!

  631. Joules*300035* says:

i’ll be lurking a few more min tho

  632. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Goodnight everyone. I’m off to a peaceful sleep.

  633. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Aw, g’night Joules and GND!

  634. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Gurl: I enjoyed living with an open mind. I love a European but would appreciate all my sugars regardless of the situation.

  635. Joules*300035* says:

eh, i just dont think i can chat anymore tonight; got a lot on my mind (the relationship drama that i brought on myself lol). i’m thinkin i’m just going to have to take a couple sleeping pills and crash out *shrug*

  636. gurlnextdoor says:

Well everyone I need to be heading off to sleep soon, gotta actually wake up in about 3 hours for classes. Argh! Then off to the bank we go…take care everyone.

  637. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

😀 So anyone wanna see a poem I wrote in December of 07, just cause I’m going through old blogs?

  638. gurlnextdoor says:

Lol don’t worry we all get impatient every once in awhile. I personally think I’m going to start narrowing my search to Europeans in the USA. Any European SDs out there feel free to leave me a message. :)

  639. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

I’ve checked him about. We’ll expect about what’s observing?

  640. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Ha, a girl can dream! (And dream I shall…) 😀

Meanwhile…I haven’t gotten any new emails in a while and, well, it’s a bit sad… I’m being impatient, I know…but my impatience entertains me. lol

  641. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha maybe his fiance/wife (don’t know if they’re married yet) will decide he’s not the one for her and then I can use my matchmaking secrets to get him as your SD. :)

  642. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Oh, CSB, I’m okay with you not being attracted to him…I wish more women weren’t…like that Vanessa Whats-her-name…

A look-a-like would only cover the surface…but I suppose that’ll do for now, GND…lol I wanna go on tv…talk about how much I adore him, then maybe meet him…then I can die happy.

  643. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha CSB, I personally prefer George Clooneys and Daniel Craigs. Tres sexy.

  644. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

I’m not at all attracted to Johnny Depp’s especially when it’s definitely about my progression.

  645. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah I agree Vic, chemistry is a big part of it…no chemistry and it won’t work. Aww Victoria we will find you a sexy British Johnny Depp lookalike, how about that?

  646. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Why can’t I just have Johnny Depp and be done with it?

I’m good CSB, and I totally agree with the chemistry thing. I mean, you want to actually enjoy the person you’re spending time with, right?

  647. gurlnextdoor says:

Lol ok well Joules if you understood my craziness then that’s all that matters.

  648. gurlnextdoor says:

I’m good CSB, and no Vic he has no kids. Just him and his wife and he does seem pretty cool, plus from his pics he looks super hot.

  649. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

GND & Y&F: Thanks for all the ideas. I above all want chemistry between pot SDs and I. How’s everyone tonight tonight.

  650. Joules*300035* says:

lol GND, it made sense to me though; somehow!

  651. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Aw, drat… He does seem pretty cool!

Lol, I was only wondering cause I’d recently emailed an Englishman with a sick wife and 2 kids…

  652. Joules*300035* says:

thanks everyone for listening…i still gotta blog though 😉 bbiaf

    hey YF!

  653. gurlnextdoor says:

I meant trip not group, wow how did I get those two words mixed up lol

  654. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha no, he called her “boring” lol. Plus he said he likes black girls. :) I think I may have hit the jackpot.

  655. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Hi Y&F!

    Married? Is his wife sick?

  656. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah Joules I think that would actually good for your psyche, a joint group to the cemetary. I would think it would help with closure on the whole situation.

Yeah Vic he’s a married SD which rocks cause I could probably have two SDs :) Two European SDs at that…I feel so giddy, lol. Oh and hey Y&F.

  657. Joules*300035* says:

ya, definately a huge fan of laughter here as well *grin*

  658. Joules*300035* says:

uhhhg, made it half-way through the brownie crap….i tried to cover up the banana flavored ice cream but it didn’t work lol

gotta toss it out now lol

  659. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah I agree with Vic on everything she said, lol. And Joules laughter is the best medicine and the thing I try to make all my friends do. Keeps their stress levels in check and helps to keep me in my constant chill mode.

  660. Joules*300035* says:

ya Vic, i think thats it. she was the first to apologize about what happened between the 3 of us in the past. she even said somethin like..’and i think we all 3 were not in a healthy place in our lives at that time…’

which is so true and i agreed with her

maybe i’ll try to talk her into goin to the cemetary with me next time I go out to KC lol it’d just crack my husband up to see She and I together lol

  661. ♥ϒoung&ƒabulous♥ → 300345 says:

Hi sugar fam!!!! Catching up on the blog…I feel like I haven’t been on for weeks….*l0l*

  662. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Aw…I want a British SD… :-(

    Awesome, GND!

  663. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

That’s one of my favorite movies!

Well, good luck, Joules… Being friends with her will probably be good for you in the long run. I’m a very forgiving person and I’ve found that it’s good for my stress level…

  664. Joules*300035* says:

GND dang gurl u makin me laugh soooo hard!

  665. gurlnextdoor says:

Woohoo I got mail from a potential SD, and he’s British. :)

  666. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Well, forgiveness could be playing a big part. I mean, over time, people see that they’ve let go of things that even they didn’t know they’d let go of. Like, now that you’re messaging her, you realize you’ve come to terms with things?
Sorry for the setbacks with the business, but I’m sure it’ll get better. And I hope relationship drama dies down… As far as pervs everywhere, well, I can’t help you…lol…they will always be hiding in the woodwork…

  667. gurlnextdoor says:

Aww well at least it ended good for you Joules. :)

Thanks Cat, yeah that’s the name of it.

  668. Joules*300035* says:

this chick even told me that if it would help with my closure any; in dealing with my husband’s death…that i was more than allowed to ask her whatever i wanted in regards to their past relationship.

she thanked me for sharing with her everything that i did (just a lot of chit chat stuff, but some stuff in regards to my husband).

she was just super-nice to me; very comforting. i thanked her for listening and we added each other as friends on myspace

  669. Cat says:

Why do fools fall in love

  670. gurlnextdoor says:

Hmm that is weird Joules, reminds me of that old movie about that male r&b singer who married like 5 women and they all ended up catching up with each other at the lawyer’s office while looking over his will. What’s that movie’s name???

  671. gurlnextdoor says:

Hmm Joules not a big fan of ice cream…but I will take the chocolate crunchy things. :) Chocolate makes me weak, it’s my kryptonite lol.

  672. Joules*300035* says:

    Vic….

so, my wierd night…well, i just hit a bump in the road with my business. no biggie, just a distraction. and one of my clients has to put his cd release on hold as a close friend died yesterday, i gots ta deal with pervs every corner i turn, haven’t heard from SD today, gots all kindsa relationship drama (which i brought on myself honestly lol)

and then, i dunno if i mentioned but several years ago my husband and i split up, he started seeing another chick and then he and i got back together and i EVENTUALLY ran that chick off and got her out of the picture.

well, this chick sent me a msg on myspace yesterday and it was the first she’d heard about my husband passing away. getting that msg from her threw my brain into some depression, but then my “this is not a date” friend kept me company that night so all is well now.

however, this chick emailed me AGAIN. so the last several hours; strangely enough, she and i have been talking and catching up on our lives. i mean, how did i all of a sudden come to not hating her so much? that’s just the main thing that’s throwin my head for a loop tonight

  673. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Haha… Joules I had my Mayan Chocolate ice-cream fix yesterday.

  674. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Omg…Joules…I’m drooling over here…Iwannahasicecreams!

  675. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Gurl: Well the weekend was great but I was too sick to enjoy the warmth. The weather is not too bad right now. At least it’s not snowing.

  676. Joules*300035* says:

hahaha you all would just die if you saw this monsterous bowl of ice cream!

big huge warm brownie at the bottom (with walnuts) covered in liquid caramel, banana split icecream on top, vanilla crunchy things, choc. crunchy things and nuts on top of all that!

    FRIGGIN HUGE!! lol

  677. gurlnextdoor says:

    Hey Ebony, welcome back.

  678. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    I didn’t know that, CSB… annnd, I want veggiedogs…

  679. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha yeah Vic I started having flashbacks of two girls running through the rain and banging on gates with steel bars, lol. Then the music started and it was over, had to listen to it.

I didn’t know today was the first day of Spring CSB. It’s been pretty warm down here, what about up there?

  680. Ebony says:

I was trying to sleep but alas! it was not to be.

  681. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    *gotta*

  682. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Eeep! t.a.T.U! yaaaaay….I’ve gotten listen to them now….

  683. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Haha the sunlight through my blinds is my alarm clock. LOL and today (technically) is the first day of spring.

  684. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Ditto, GND! …Which is bad for my morning classes on Saturday and Sunday…

  685. gurlnextdoor says:

Ok Joules see you in a bit.

  686. Joules*300035* says:

Vic, both good and bad wierdness; i’ll explain in a couple min when i get back online

  687. gurlnextdoor says:

Well I’m on a random old music kick now…I had All the Things She Said by T.A.T.U stuck in my head so had to give that a listen.

  688. Joules*300035* says:

i’ll be back in a few…gotta reboot. my puter hasn’t been adjusting very well to the high-speed i-net lol

  689. gurlnextdoor says:

Good good CSB, I think my SD has finally fell asleep and so no more texts saying “go to sleep” haha. I’m a little nocturnal junkie, the moon is my friend and the sunset my alarm clock lol.

  690. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    I wanna watch that now…like right now…

  691. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Everything’s pretty neat, CSB! Just…*studying*…in between here and facebook…

Aw, Joules, that’s sooo far away! And, I hope the weirdness doesn’t last…unless it’s good weirdness…I like that.

  692. Mia says:

    I’m late, but goodnight Mina.

  693. Mia says:

    FERNGULLY!!!! That is my M.O.V.I.E.

  694. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Been a while since I been up at this time. How’s everything Joules and GND? Ohhhhh and Victoria.

  695. gurlnextdoor says:

Aww Joules just lean in closer to the sugar fire and heat yourself up a smore. We’ll help to take your mind off of whatever weirdness you experienced tonight. :)

  696. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah I don’t think any amount of emails or phone calls can replace the experience of meeting a SD in person. Like Mina said earlier they can be two entirely different people in person and on paper.

  697. Joules*300035* says:

Vic, thanks! i can’t wait til my producer gets around to finalizing my newest pics from my last shoots in KC. there’s like 200 of them! it’ll prolly be like 6 more months tho :(

  698. gurlnextdoor says:

I love the tree full of oil in Ferngully, great movie lol…my favourite book is being shipped to me and should be here in a few days, yay!

  699. gurlnextdoor says:

Have fun in Cabo Mina…wish I could go lol

  700. Joules*300035* says:

uhhhg, its just been a wierd night for me. think i’m gonna blog and see if that helps

  701. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Enjoy your flight and sleep well! Night, Mina!

  702. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Mina: Exactly but there’s only so much precautions you can take. I’ve called *67 and verified their information etc. Regardless, I still think meeting is the deciding factor in an SD/SB relationship.

  703. Mina says:

I’m off to bed, darlings. I have an early morning flight to Cabo 😉

  704. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Ooh…Batty… I wanna watch Ferngully… word association, something I can’t help but do…

  705. gurlnextdoor says:

    Yep true true Mina

  706. Mina says:

CSB – You can never take too many precautions. Someone may seem great on paper and say all the right things on the phone and in emails, but turn out to be completely batty in person.
    Works both ways though, lol.

  707. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

    way***

  708. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Btw, Joules, your pics are adorable! I loved the long hair! 😀

  709. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Mina: Haha I have a pot SD that I’m meeting in a few weeks. He’s not coming to my city but I have family in the city we’re meeting (tentatively). That what I know I have backup contacts.

  710. gurlnextdoor says:

Joules I know what you mean…an acquaintance of mine that usually only calls me on Thursday through Saturday to see if any local parties are going on, texted me the other day asking if I wanted to hang out at 2am. I laughed and never wrote him back.

  711. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

lol..Joules, men like that are sooo annoying!

  712. Mina says:

Joules – What a charmer he is!

  713. Mina says:

I agree with you again, CSB! lol

  714. gurlnextdoor says:

CSB yeah I was addicted to the week before I left for college because I was stuck in my house and that’s all I could do all day for fun lol. But in my opinion facebook has more use than myspace or twitter. Plus it just looks better, less clutter…although with the new layout that looks like it might be changing soon.

  715. Joules*300035* says:

wow, i always wondered WTH twitter was lol

  716. Mina says:

Just be sure to take every and all precautions when going to meet someone. If you’re in a “neutral” city with friends and are somewhat familiar with it – great! But make sure you have a backup plan if things fall through or don’t go as planned.
As far as length of arrangements… I think it’s just fun to go with it and see what happens rather than putting a time frame on the relationship. If two people have fun together and keep within their boundaries, why end it? Just my opinion on it :)

  717. Joules*300035* says:

uhhhhg, men (non-SD thing here) are a pain in my cutie booty!

this one dude; we talked on the phone several hours a couple weeks back and not since then. now he’s askin if he can hit it

    LOLOLOLOL

just had ta break it to him; he’s just toooooo immature

  718. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

The concept of Twitter is just weird.

  719. gurlnextdoor says:

S.B just tell him what you liked about his profile (ex. his love for the outdoors, sarcastic humour, whatever it may be) and then ask him to check out your profile and email you back if he’s interested. Or better yet if his profile is kind of vague on what he’s looking for in an arrangement ask him what his ideal arrangement would be. I always think it’s best to include some type of question in your initial email since it gives him something to work with if he writes you back.

  720. Mia says:

Mina – Twitter is great for synchronizing travel/movement/events with a large group of people (ie “I’m outside” “I’m on my way” “I’m parked in the black jeep” “What theater is it again?” updates in matters of seconds, that don’t need to be navigated, like Facebook.) It is also great for marketers, particularly online marketers (I believe Henri knows a bit about this), and business executives or artists in general who rely on networking. It is more of a streamlined networking tool great for shameless self-promotion. 😀

  721. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    What exactly is Twitter???

S.B., you could probably let them know what it was about their profile that made you want to contact them, and tell them about yourself, and maybe ask any questions you may have… Just some ideas?

  722. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

LOL Mina me and you both!!!

  723. Mina says:

S.B*308878 – A little wit and dry sense of humor nevers hurts. Perhaps there’s something his profile you could poke fun at in a playful way? Most men I’ve contacted are the type-A CEO and are used to being surrounded by “yes men/women” and find it refreshing to have someone tease them. They can’t fire you, after all. Lol.

  724. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

GND: I rarely take photos so I don’t know that a Facebook would be useful. I’ve seen too much people fall into addiction with this website.

  725. Mia says:

Mina, I agree with longer arrangements to, and so does the one who I’ve gotten hold of so far, and so the other 3 seem to as well. I’m meeting them all after I finish this mini-vacation, return home, and then go back north.

Haha, I’m sure 1 will fall off my bandwagon sooner rather than later, or me off his. :)

Thanks for the traveling tip. I plan on traveling with one in a week or two and to him eventually.

  726. Mina says:

CSB – I just learned what Twitter is and I still don’t understand the use of and need for it.

  727. S.B*308878 says:

I’m always unsure of what to say when first contacting someone…POINTERS? lol

My profile explains everything I would say so I usually have writer’s block lol.

  728. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha Mia, accents are nice except for when you’re in loud, crowded hip restaraunts. Then some stuff seems to get lost in translation but makes for a great laugh later on.

  729. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    That’s so awesome Ebony!

  730. gurlnextdoor says:

Oh CSB you gotta make a facebook page (personally not a big fan of Myspace or Twitter, although facebook is going down hill pretty quickly on my list at the moment).

  731. Mia says:

Victoria – I would DIE of bliss if I ever had an SD with a British or Italian accent. he might grow annoyed with speaking to me because I’d always close my eyes so I could focus on the intonation more than the content!

  732. Mina says:

Four? Shock, that’s a bit much! Kidding, of course :)
I’m all for long(er) term arrangements, be it with one SD or more (but you have to draw the line at some point because a gal can only juggle so many men at once, lol)
Traveling with and to them helps tremendously.

  733. Ebony says:

Cat i had one who sent me the sweetest rejection email lol that i emailed him back to tell him thanks lol. We were just not compatible geographically. We ended u exchanging emails and chatting just for kicks and he said if he was ever in the area he would surely look me up lol.

  734. gurlnextdoor says:

Oooo Congrats Mia on all the potential SDs, all of mine have seemed to have disappeared. Oh well one great SD is better than three shady ones. :)

  735. Mia says:

SB – I’ve found that the ones without pics are more attractive than the ones with pics, surprisingly.

  736. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    I’d love a poetic Henri-type SD!

Or someone like Suthrn, with all the smarts!

Or someone like a mixture of all the good ones…who’s British or Italian…

  737. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Oh ok. I’m such a nerd with this stuff. I know I’m in the age range but I’m don’t have any Facebook, Myspace, Twitter profiles etc.

  738. Mia says:

Mina IS also my sister’s name.

Okay, Mina, I’m on my way to following in your footsteps. I may have 4 SDs by the time the month is through, depending on how I end up feeling about it.

Expect for me to ask you questions, like in regards to scheduling issues, lol.

  739. S.B*308878 says:

Okay now I feel much better! I’ve been kinda skipping over the profiles without pics.

  740. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha maybe you had a secret “godfather” or something in the mob, lol.

  741. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Luck…mob payouts…who knows? I like the latter cause it’s much more fun to think about! lol

  742. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha no CSB he doesn’t…at least I don’t think he does. He saw I was on yahoo messenger still and I usually either sign out or put up that I’m sleep when I go to sleep, but since I was available he guessed I was awake lol. He’s a sweetheart, we need more SDs like him. A Superman, SuthrnExec, Henri, NCGent, and SuthrnExec2 for every SB on the blog, lol.

  743. Mina says:

    *Once I SAW them.
Two typos in one night, my new record.
Cat – I do agree with you on that note. I think to send a response like that rather than to just ignore it shows both manners and class.

  744. gurlnextdoor says:

Umm Cat I can’t say anything because I myself am guilty of not replying to emails of guys I’m not interested in. Now if they email me more than once I reply, but if not I usually don’t reply.

  745. Mina says:

S.B*308878 – Two of my SDs didn’t have a photo posted and I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased once I them! (And out of the two, I didn’t see a pic prior to meeting) My third had a pic posted but with most of his face blocked out. You never know… :)

  746. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Gurl : Does Superman lurk on the blog? How does he know you’re online?

  747. Cat says:

I would really appreciate men replying with “sorry, not interest, but good look in your search” at least. I do. I don’t waste their time if I’m not on board, regardless of how many e-mails I have to answer or how busy I am. It’s simple and considerate :)

  748. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha Vic I need some luck like that. Random amounts of money in my account lol.

  749. S.B*308878 says:

There are so few guys who I’m attracted to and they’re usually wanting a prostitute. Hmmm do many cool guys visit these blogs lol…

  750. gurlnextdoor says:

Ahhh sleep is starting to creep up on to me and my SD just texted me telling me to go to sleep lol. Guess he woke up and saw I was still online.

  751. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Night, Tony and Kat!

Cat, I have no idea actually…I just know that sometimes I’d check the balance on my debit card (to see if I can afford like soda or something) and there’s a few hundred dollars that weren’t there before… It was always fun, though!

  752. Joules*300035* says:

S.B, do you have any way we could chat outside of here? well, if you want some tips and stuff

  753. Mina says:

I must admit, I feel a tad creepy for retaining that bit of information.

  754. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Mina: Lol. I don’t really know. This blog is hard too keep up with especially if the names are so close.

  755. Joules*300035* says:

S.B, i totally understand you but at least you’re not being rejected face-to-face; it makes it much easier to deal with *grin*

  756. gurlnextdoor says:

    Yeah it is isn’t it?

  757. Mina says:

Lol CSB – and I believe Mina is Mia’s sister’s name, no?

  758. gurlnextdoor says:

    Night Kat and Tony

  759. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Woohoo Mina and Mia on the blog at the same time :).

  760. Katherine says:

Alright. enjoy the s’mores & campfire :) been a lot of fun tonight!!!

  761. Tony says:

    Nite ladies

  762. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Tony: If you’re serious about this arrangement, I would do what feels best. Maybe she’s attracted to something this personal but asking for those sort of pictures is unnecessary IMO. Then again, I haven’t met an pot SD that has requested more photos than those on my profiles.

  763. Mina says:

*IF it really happens. Still a little jet lagged :)

  764. Cat says:

Vic: what do you mean getting money from unknown sources in the mob? You had a mafia boss SD? lol. I’m just acting dumb…but please specify, I’m intrigued!

  765. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah I remember that from earlier today/yesterday (I’m starting to experience time vertigo lol)

  766. Mina says:

Mia – If that’s the amount for cash AND gifts then I suppose I can expect to be audited very soon, lol.

Maybe not “lol” is it really happens, ha.

  767. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I’m kind of aggressive when it comes to men (and sometimes women)… I like to chase sometimes! 😀 Being chased is fun, but not as challenging!

  768. S.B*308878 says:

    Joules that would be great!
It’s like this…when the guy contacts me, I feel in control because I know that they’re interested in me but as far as me contacting them..I guess i’m just afraid of be rejected via internet lol…

  769. Katherine says:

heyoooo. Somewhere along the lines I had heard of that. I think SuthrnExec was helping me out, sharing his awesomeness in expertise (no, I’m serious, I love his advice).

*Just in good hopes that I will find an SD that will pay a substantial amount of these off for me, so I like to know ahead of time what that would involve*

  770. Tony says:

    I let it go

  771. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Nope, Ebony… How sad…and I put alot of thought into that message.

  772. Mina says:

S.B*308878 – Take the initiative and go for it, you never know what may happen. I initially contacted my most recent SD and he was glad I did; he said he had “given up” contacting SBs because so many seemed to be either fakes or flakes.

  773. Joules*300035* says:

S.B, i’ve NEVER had a problem approaching men; for real or here on SA. why not try being a little more pro-active in your search? i could give you PLENTY of pointers if you like

  774. gurlnextdoor says:

Tony if I were you before I’d even consider sending some very personal pics like that to her, I’d get some verification on who she is.

  775. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Nudes over the intarwubz=bad business… I’d meet her FIRST if I were you, Tony.

  776. Mia says:

Katherine, about your questions regarding gifts – I know over the past few years, gifts under 10-12k do not need to be declared. I know right now it’s either 11k or 12k, but the law might be changed soon, for obvious reasons.

This includes cash and a gift’s worth. :)

  777. Ebony says:

Hey Vic our sexy guy from Dallas logged just a couple of minutes ago lol. I’m mad at him. Did he reply to you?

  778. gurlnextdoor says:

I have the same problem S.B, I like the thrill of the chase sort to speak. I like to be pursued by a potential SD, not the other way around.

  779. Joules*300035* says:

and i guess honestly tony, if you think your package is up to par, and you think it would work AND ARE COMFORTABLE WITH IT, maybe you should

hahaha i know i’m changing my mind every minute here but i’m female! i’m allowed to!

i guess we all just have to remember that the world of SMs are totally different than SDs

  780. Tony says:

don’t know if she is or not

  781. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha ok CSB…yeah I didn’t want a LTR until we met in person and then somewhere between the airport and going out for dinner my mind changed completely, haha.

  782. S.B*308878 says:

I guess my problem would be that I don’t really like sending mssgs to guys I might be interested in. I want and sometimes expect them to contact me lol…

  783. Mia says:

Mmmmmm… sorry for my sketchy post, ya’ll. Posting issues and a sleepyhead, obviously.

  784. Joules*300035* says:

you need to talk to your pot SM and figure out exactly how serious she is with such an arrangement. i understand that she (like a lot of SDs) want to know what they will be ‘working with’ sexually….none of us want to waste our time. maybe you can tell her that you’ll meet for a cup of coffee and see if you two click or not and then you’ll show her.

HOWEVER, this is all up to you! what ever you feel comfortable with

  785. Mia says:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO leave me aloneeeeeeeeee. Let me post.

  786. Katherine says:

mina- that’s a bit calming and easing of my nerves. well enough for me! :)

random: there are so many news articles popping regarding these sort of arrangements!!! woah. And the general consensus is that people frown upon them. Hm. Ohhhh well.

  787. gurlnextdoor says:

Wow didn’t think SMs would be as bad as SDs, lol.

  788. Tony says:

No pic no t interested in. Talking

  789. Joules*300035* says:

Tony, how do you know she isn’t a picture collector???

  790. Mina says:

There’s really not much to learn or teach – Just be yourself, trust your instinct, and have fun with this. :)

  791. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

GND: I’m here. I can’t seem to fall asleep. LOL, sexy pot SD is quite the character. Hmmm an LTR is interesting isn’t it. I will visit when you move with Superman lol.

  792. gurlnextdoor says:

Haha and I’d be there to help you right along, hey maybe I should become the SD/SB matchmaker lol.

  793. Mina says:

Lol Tony, I think a pic like that would make her feel much better than it would you.

  794. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Send him a message anyway, Kat! That way, he’ll see that you messaged him, and maybe make an effort to contact you! And maybe, yea, blog joining…stuff…with…yea….I make words terribly sometimes…

  795. Katherine says:

lol gnd wouldnt that be my luck??!! haha i’d wanna snatch him right up!

  796. Mina says:

Katherine – No need to apologize on your end, I’m sorry I couldn’t offer any useful advice. Just throwing this in – my parents deposit my allowance to a bank account and while it is a fairly large sum (though nothing near my SD allowance) it has never been questioned by the bank.

  797. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

That would be a depressing ending… Gondola trip to Florence it is then! lol… :-( But, I’m still going to Venice at least for a little while. 😉

  798. Tony says:

No face pic with penis pic if it would make me feel better?

  799. Ebony says:

Tony, the general consensus is NO!

  800. S.B*308878 says:

and plus i’m bored tonight lol

  801. S.B*308878 says:

Mina I would love to chat with you. I’m sure I could learn some pointers.

  802. gurlnextdoor says:

Hey CSB, didn’t know you were up. My SD just went to sleep, said it was past his “bedtime” lol.

Kat I looked at his profile and he looks promising, too bad he’s not premium. Hey maybe he’ll join the blog and you can talk to him then, lol.

  803. Katherine says:

Mina: thanks. sorry for the bombard of questions, I just figured I would ask in case you knew. This will figure itself out when the time comes.. I have to find an SD first! 😀

  804. Mina says:

Ah, the only debts I’ve ever had to deal with are my NM card!

  805. Mia says:

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

She’s a bold one. If it were me, like if a dude wanted to justify my sending a pic of my boobs so “he doesn’t waste either his time or mine,” I would just tell him what it is and that he can either take me for my word, or leave me be.

Then again, I understand SMs are a lot more limited than SDs, but I’m weary and easily annoyed.

  806. Katherine says:

Ah. We travel via gondola from florence to venice.. MM i like :p

  807. Ebony says:

Tony, then tell her to send you a copy of her bank account…fair’s fair.

  808. gurlnextdoor says:

I dunno Vic, did you see Casino Royale when the building went down in the water and the girl died? I don’t wanna be drowning and staring at my own personal James Bond, plus that will be a sucky ending to the show.

  809. ChocolateSnowBunny says:

Mina: I absolutely agree with you about what we want as SBs. There may be some SBs that is interested in the latest Louboutin. Though that’s my weakness, I have much more goals and ambitions that just materialistic items. Right now, the decline in the economy may cause an influx in memberships but such is life. We need to know what we want and, regardless of age, race etc, and go and get it. This blog has been helpful for me and I’ll continue to be a source of advice if needed. Good luck to everyone especially the new SBs.

Katherine – Like I said, I don’t know the details, sorry I’m not much help with that. I’m sure I do have to report it because on the surface I’m an unemployed student who has very nice amounts in several bank accounts – surely it doesn’t look right to “whoever needs to know” lol. Repaying loans and debts is a great idea. Again… Preparing yourself for the future and taking care of what’s important 😉

  811. S.B*308878 says:

I’m so freaking bored. I’m an insomniac, can’t sleep.
    So how’s everybody’s night going?

  812. Katherine says:

GND we’re in the saaaaame boat. Ain’t it fun?? lol

Man, look at this SD’s profile: 270852. Why does it have to be BLUE?? :( See I get a good vibe from it/like it… any reason I shouldn’t? bummmerrr

  813. Tony says:

She just wants to make sure she’s not wasting our time, her words

  814. gurlnextdoor says:

How about we stay in Florence half the time and Venice the other half? Now everybody is happy :)

  815. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Hey, I’m pretty sure I flat out said no nudes… Whether it’s to a pot SD or SM…

Let it sink! I’ll go with it, as long as I’m there! *sigh* I can’t wait to go to Venice for real!

Kat, as far as “whoever needs to know”, well who does?! I mean, do you HAVE to tell anyone where your money comes from? I used to get random money from unknown sources (I still think I somehow pleased someone in the mob), and my family didn’t know about it for months…

  816. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

That’s what I wanna do Mina…but first gotta pay off these student loans.

  817. Mia says:

LOL I’ve gotten good at sizing things up in person too.

  818. Katherine says:

hahaha but Ebony has a good point.

Wait…we were hinting for tony to send the nude? Babe nawww. Let her see you in person. We automatically size it up then lol. But then you can give her what she wants :) If you two hit it off!

  819. Mia says:

Hmmmm, I’d thought the gist from everyone was that Tony should not do it…

  820. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

It’s not from this site just some SD’s personal blog

  821. Mina says:

Mia – One of the best/smartest decisions I ever made. I have closets full of designer everything, but if things were to end between one or all of my SDs, a Gucci dress isn’t going to help me survive financially.

  822. Katherine says:

    Aw I love venice!

  823. Joules*300035* says:

Listen ladies, and i’m not picking, but how is it fair that we tell one another to NOT send a pot SD a provocative pic b4 the first meeting but we’re kinda hinting to Tony that’s it IS OK to do so with his pot SM???

    *shrug*

    just food for thought

  824. Ebony says:

Kat/GND: Venice is sinking……lets go to Florence

  825. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Does she want anything else Tony cause right now if that’s all she wants then a blog entry I read is slowly coming into focus in my mind…it’s entitled Cougar. *disclaimer: not all older women looking for younger men are cougars in my personal opinion*

  826. Katherine says:

Mina: thanks! So as long as the “gifts” aren’t too sizeable, you don’t have to worry about reporting that money? Like…whatever allowance I get is going to go towards repaying my loans. That’s my first hope…unless the SD offers to help with them straight out. But I don’t know how to justify to *whoever needs to know* where I got that paying money from.

Do you know what I mean? Is it something i don’t have to worry about cos I can just account for them as gifts?

p.s. consider me joined. SugarBabies in the City!<33 YAY!

  827. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    VENICE for sure! 😀

  828. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

I don’t remember why I asked for your profile number…but it may have been important… I also don’t remember why I asked if anyone was in chicago… Either way…if you guys have myspace or facebook, feel free to add me! 😀

  829. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

I vote for Venice, I’ll import my SD though lol…S.B nice profile :)

  830. Tony says:

She wants a guy that’s younger that she can be intimate with. Yes she was talking about my tool. She’s 49

  831. Mia says:

    A financial adviser… that’s a good idea.

  832. Katherine says:

ahhh, SBs in the city, eh? Florence or Venice? 😉

  833. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

    Cool, S.B….buttt, I forgot why I asked… :-(

  834. Ebony says:

    Lmao GND am trying!!
    Vic its 308127
Kat remember last night when i think vic and/or gnd started talking about italy and we all said we’d move there and start a series like sex and the city only it would be sb’s in the city lol

  835. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Yeah I gotta agree with Victoria on this one, ask her what she wants out of the arrangement. See if you two mesh before you go sending her pictures of your “hammer”.

And Vic I love Britney Spears too, was dancing to her music for about an hour this morning when I woke up. :)

  836. Victoria ♠302242♠ says:

Sending nude pics online…not a good idea.

    …………………………………………………………………………

    Yea, Kat! Join us! 😀

  837. Mina says:

    You’re sweet, Katherine :)
In regards to your question: I have a bank account my SDs use to deposit my allowance that is seperate from my personal bank account my parents use for my allowance. A portion of my allowance is immediately transferred into one of my savings accounts, the amount depends on what I have planned (travels, spa days, etc) for the upcoming month. I have a financial adviser that was recommended to me by one of my SDs that basically takes care of everything. I have CoDs, stocks, bonds, and even a bit of real estate here and there. I don’t know the details, I just say what I want and sign and initial where he tells me to, ha.

  838. Katherine says:

lol what is it with men and needing to give them blatant hints? haha otherwise they turn it as “I can’t read your mind or clues… Just tell me straight out!” <–of which the latter option I don’t tend to mind, as long as it’s reasonable. and this pole dancing thing? Well, I think he’ll enjoy that boost in sexual self confidence on your return home! *wink, wink*

too bad there isn’t an option to automatically put someone on your “I’ve looked at this guy’s profile and am not interested” list. Like a bin or something…just like we do with favorites. I keep seeing some of the same ones and discarding them all over again.
